Been several times for a haircut (shampoo and cut $25). The hair stylist is on her own and stops to answer her phone each time. She is also pretty slow, so squeezing in a decent haircut in 30min is challenging. Once I went and her station was super dirty. Once my hair towel fell on the floor and she put it back on my head. She doesn't dry your hair or cross check her cuts much, so you have to really want a simple cut. Tried even scheduling a cut and blow dry to have more time, but that didn't work either. She's a good stylist, but I'd recommend she raise her price to $35, extend appts to 45min, and either set aside scheduling time or figure out a better way to manage the phone. Called ahead and asked for acrylic nail removal and a manicure. It started off ok the tech was using an e file to remove the product. Then I got handed off to another tech and she starts ripping the acrylic off with a spatula for paint mixing. She goes on saying my nails will be very brittle and weak and I need to use nail strengthner. I walked out mid service. If I had known this is how they remove nails at this salon I would have never been in. read more

My wedding party and I had such a wonderful experience. The gals and I scheduled a appointment at another salon and they put me down for 1 service for 1 person and I had called two weeks in advance. I was very upset and had to make something work asap. I called Lavish Nails and asked if they could fit 7 of us in. She said they would make it work. They were more than accommodating. I called and made an appointment earlier in the day for two mani/pedis for 5pm and they asked us to come in closer to 4:30 if we could, I said we would try or best but were coming from work. Maps and yelp still have their old address on Hover st. which made us later than expected and I arrived to the main st. location right before 5. No one else was there except workers and someone finishing a hair appt. The woman seemed annoyed when I showed up and I felt rushed picking my colors. When my friend showed up a few minutes later, at 5:03, she said 'oh great, shes here' in a sarcastic voice and complained to me that we were only written down as two pedicures, not pedis +manis. Foot massage was sub-par, but the worst part was the horrible polish job. A 5-year-old could have pained my nails better. It took my nail artist twice as long to do my pedicure than my friend next to me, even though I started earlier. It felt like she didn't know what she was doing, nails were cut uneven and not filed, and she was constantly cleaning up on the skin around the nail. The polish itself was also clumpy, like it hasn't been used in a while. Instead of asking if I wanted a different, similar color she clumped it on there which is partially the reason it looked so bad and took awhile. I didn't say anything while I was there because I wanted to see give it the benefit of the doubt and wanted to just leave at that point. I also have found many discrepancies on their website. We were both overcharged $35 for a pedicure, but the website says pedicures are $30. Their google listing for the business and Facebook says they close at 7pm, but their website and yelp says 6pm, along with their old address still pulling up in maps and on yelp. I decided not to get a manicure after seeing the final product of my toes, so we were out the door by 5:55. I'm glad I didn't waste anymore $ on a manicure too and will not be going back. Two stars because they did take COVID precautions and the massage chairs were nice. I've been to many salons before and have never had a worse experience. read more

This place was okay. It's in a shared space with a hair salon. I walked in and the nail tech was perfectly nice. They have the massage chairs but no music and no offering of a drink (even water). Also it was warm in there. The pedicure was fine. She rang m me up and sent me on my way wearing the foam flip flops and toe separators. They didn't offer a nail drier, so I'm drying them in the car with the AC blowing on them. read more

My mom and I have been going to this nail salon for months. Mom has her finger nails done every 4 weeks and every other time she treats me to a pedi just for driving her! Why every 8 weeks for a pedi? Because Ann and Lidia do such a great job of a shellac pedi that it keeps me looking good for 8 weeks! Mom raves about Christina's acrylic nail work too! The owner was very sweet and the salon was cute! The lady who did my gel nails got the gel in my cuticles and on the sides of my nails. When my nails grow out the gel is going to chip and they won't last. If I were to go back to this salon, I would ask for the owner to do my nails... kinda disappointed because we all know nails are not cheap read more

I read positive reviews about this spa online, so I went in for a gel manicure. I was highly disappointed with the atmosphere and final product. The setting was a bit shabby- it had an unfinished look to it and there was a lot of junk lying around (food, old air fresheners, and other random things). I did not feel that the atmosphere aligned with the $37 I spent on the gel manicure that began to crack and chip two days after it was applied. read more

There are a few times I go and I am impressed but that happens very rarely. This last week I went and they messed up my gel nails so bad. They looked HORRIBLE and I wanted to cry. When I got up to leave, my nails smudged. Since it was gel it should not have done that. They finally re-did them. It has been a week and my nails are beginning to chip because they got the gel on my cuticles and there is four layers of gel. The person who did my nails was not the owner and I regret that. From now on, I will be asking the owner to do my nails because she is way better than everyone else. Christina is VERY good at her job. read more
