Conveniently located close to my house, and therefore personally worth the price premium over farther-away places! I don't do gel or acrylics so I can't comment on those, but the basic mani-pedi is perfectly serviceable. Been here twice - even with an appointment, they're consistently 10mins or so late. Nail tech doesn't shape nails to the shape I requested for (both times). Uneven in terms of nail length, some nails are under painted. Pretty pricey for the service they provide. read more

I am new to the area and I really wanted to like this nail salon as I search for a new nail salon, but unfortunately my gel manicure was disappointing. Several of my nails weren't fully covered with polish, especially around the sides and edges, so they looked unfinished from the beginning. Within a week, the gel started peeling and cracking, which is much sooner than what I am used to. I do want to be fair and say that I think my experience may have been more related to the particular nail technician I had rather than the salon as a whole. The woman sitting next to me was getting her nails done by a different technician, and her nails looked beautiful. I actually remember wishing I had gotten the technician she had! Unfortunately, based on the quality and how quickly my manicure started falling apart, I was disappointed with what I paid for and likely won't be returning. I did also try saying something to the nail tech and asked her to cover full nails after noticing with the first nail that I noticed it happen with and she brushed my comment off and essentially said to let her handle how she does my nails. This was my first time visiting Lavish Nails and I would highly recommend and look forward to going back! Mia was my nail tech for my GelX full set and Ruby did a standard pedicure. Everyone was so nice and Mia really listened to what I wanted for my nails and did a great job, she even kept checking to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. I have been using gel nails for decades. I found myself needing a new manicurist. So I went back to Lavish Nails. I haven't been back since before COVID. Unfortunately my nails started to chip and less than a week later my gel is breaking off. peel off. I don't typically have this problem. My nails usually last 3-4 weeks not days! I've been coming to Lavish nails for more than a year and have always enjoyed that I don't need an appointment and their nail techs do a generally great job. Today, I walked in (9 months pregnant mind you) and was greeted and seated by Mia. All good, I was on the phone and perhaps a bit loud (trying to also see how I can do better) I laughed at something on the phone and Mia proceeded to scold me to please hang up because people were relaxing. I looked around while Mariah Carey was playing loudly on their speakers. This nail salon does not have a "spa experience" kind of atmosphere. After she scolded me I proceeded to hang up and told her I that I'm sorry but I had no idea you couldn't talk on the phone. She pointed to all the people and said people want to relax, which I understand, but I did say I have seen on multiple occasions people on the phone all the time. The phone then rang loudly next to her and she started talking on the phone, stopped doing my nails to talk on the phone and this is where now I felt I was being targeted. She didn't say excuse me, or give me a few minutes. Maybe she was rude because I was speaking Spanish, or maybe she just didn't like me, but I did not have a relaxing experience and I also felt she started talking badly about me to the other nail techs. You can always ask people to lower their voice if it is a nuisance, but she was very rude to me. I wanted to cry the entire appointment and thought about just leaving, but I decided I might be hormonal so I just shut up and got my nails done. Never coming back though. read more

I used to do my nails a few years ago, and I always happy Since the new owner came, Mia, everything has been changed. She requested only cash payment what I don't like or either way Venmo what it's much better but no credit card. Service has been very poor. They don't know where they carry a few or not all they care to tell you it's not my fault So please think twice if you wanna go this place . Service was amazing! Three of us went for mani-pedis, and they had multiple technicians working on us at the same time, which made everything quick and efficient. Everyone was so nice, and the atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. The massage chairs were a great bonus, and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back! read more

Great experience! Visiting from Napa, CA and didn't know what to expect. The staff was friendly, offered me a beverage of my choice, and Amy, the nail tech was thoughtful. I wanted long square natural pink nails and she took the time to test (4) pink shades to make certain I was happy with how the shade looked with my skin tone. By far the worst nail salon in the area I have tried this 3 times but it's always the same. I make appointment for the service and then always have to wait 20-25 mins extra after the appointment time coz they are always "so busy" The job they do is so so and nail techs are always in a hurry doesn't matter if it's weekday or weekend. First and foremost, I will point out that my yelp name is an alias, so the name i checked in with does not match my yelp user name, in case the owners attempt to claim that this review is false. The absolute worst nail experience in my five decades on this planet. The technician asked if I want to keep the length and what shape I want. I said I want to keep the length as much as possible and keep the shape exactly as is, which was rounded. She proceeded to cut my nails and shape them square. I reminded her I want them round, and she then started to try to shape them rounded on the corners. Every other nail she filed came out lopsided. And she couldn't seem to care enough to notice, herself so I kept having to show her, and she seemed absolutely befuddled. At the end of the day I left with significantly shorter nails to get the rounder shape I like. I hate square nails. So I prioritize shape. Not only that, but one of my nails is actually peeling on the side when it wasn't before. On top of that, it took almost 2 hours to do a manicure and pedicure, throwing off the rest of my schedule for the day. Truly, the worst experience I've ever had in a nail salon. I informed the person in the front and turns out he is not a manager and cannot provide feedback, so hoping the owners read feedback posted here. read more
