    Gel pedicure

I love this place! I've been going here for over 3 years and I even moved away 6 months ago and STILL drive 20 minutes to come here instead of my local places. I tried a couple places closer to me but none of them do as good of a job as Angel Nails. I am so happy with my gel pedicure every single time!

    Uneven and botched

Came in with an inspo pic and suggested doing Gel-X with gel polish on top. The man recommended dip powder instead, and since he's the professional, I agreed. After sitting for an hour plus, I was really disappointed with the results. The nails looked chunky and uneven and not at all what I had envisioned. I voiced my concerns, and we ended up removing the design. It's frustrating because I originally suggested Gel-X, which would've avoided this issue in the first place. I ended up paying $55 for my nails to look like this. Overall, not a satisfying experience. Completely frustrating.

overall this place was not bad, I needed a place that took walk ins and they quickly took me in. I got my toes and nails done in an hour which I thought was great! My nails came out cute, but it seemed a bit pricey. Honestly my pedicure was a little painful. She accidentally pinched some of my skin when cutting and they're overall just a little serious there. Not a fun nail appointment and would not have a fun girls day here. Overall I'm fine w my experience there. I would recommend to someone if they're looking for a quick walk in.

I just wanted to add more nail pics. I get so many compliments on my nails. Cindy slays everytime. idk how people have negative experiences with her. She's not super talkative but I'm just chilling watching the TV. & my nails last so long. My friends sometimes join me and get gel acrylic sets and all of theirs last foreverrr. Everyone I've recommended to this nail salon has no complaints.

I am going there about 4 months now and have a few different types of nails and very happy with them. Peter is really an artist.

    Bad paint job

The quality of the paint job was subpar. My nails were uneven, further contributing to an unprofessional finish. They have limited nail polish selection as well. For $41, plus $5 tip was not worth it. Please refer to the attached photos for more details.

This review is in regards to my recent visit. I am a regular that gets my nails done at this establishment every two weeks. During this most recent visit, I asked for a nude brown color with a holographic effect on top of the color. If you have ever gotten holographic nails before you know that the initial paint color changes once you place the holographic effect on top of it. After painting my nails bright orange red with gel polish, the technician stated that the color would change to the color I requested, nude light brown. After she placed the holographic effect on my nails, it was evident that the color was not going to change. My nail color stayed bright red orange. Because my nails were painted with gel polish, the polish could not simply be removed and would take another 30 to 40 minutes to soak and have it drilled off of my nails. So they could not timely correct the issue. I assumed that they would not charge me for the nails considering they drastically messed up the color. Or at least give me a discount. I assumed wrong. They insisted on charging me full price. After complaining of being charged full price for wrongly painted nails, oof the technicians offered to take off a mere five dollars off of this $45 service. I ended up paying for bright orange nails that I never asked for. I think that this is a failure of customer service, and I am deeply disappointed that they would treat a regular patron in this manner.

In…read moreAugust of 2019 I went to South Coast Med Spa (SCMS) and had a Full Field Resurfacing done on my face with their Sciton Contour TRL system. SCMS was absoluely great, through the entire process from a thorough pre-treatment interview and all of their follow-up afterwards, it was excellent! I knew full well what this treatment would entail which always comes along with at a minimum 7-10 days downtime for recovery, lots of peeling, lots of redness, etc., and my results were fantastic plus an extra bonus of some skin tightening! The results for this treatment lasted about five years, which I fully expected, fast forward to 2025 and I had been considering another laser resurfacing treatment and looking for the same type of results, so immediately went back to SCMS. My initial consultation was on the phone and at that time I expressed exactly what I wanted and that I wasn't looking for multiple treatments, I was ready for a "one and done" treatment with the understanding that I would be able to take time off working for the healing downtime. I was advised that they had a new treatment system called Clear Laser which promised the same results but far less down/healing time. I reiterated several times that I was looking for the same treatment as my first one which although intense with the procedure & healing, the results were amazing. I was assured that this new Ultra Clear Laser treatment would give me the same result so I booked and paid for the procedure which was the full face, plus I added the neck/decollete treatment along with a PRP treatment because I was also hoping for real improvement on my decollete as I'd never done anything to that area, along with a hope that I might see some tightening on my neck. Prior to the procedure while I spent an hour with the numbing cream I went over again the areas that I was especially concerned about and hoped that this treatment would take care of, specifically a lot of dry skin areas on my cheeks, along my upper lip line, the chest area and forehead. The procedure went well and as I was fairly red with that intense sunburn feeling I remembered from the first treatment, I was confident that treatment would yield the same results. Unfortunately I ended up having very little peeling and the redness left quickly except for my decollete & neck area. After what looked like the final bit of peeling I had several followup phone conversations and then scheduled an in person consult with the technician as I didn't see the results I was hoping for with the treatment. She agreed that after 30 days I should have seen, especially the dry spots, that they would have been eliminated, which unfortunately they were still there. She suggested an additional Ultra Clear treatment at no cost which I agreed to. Once again, I prepared for some downtime and had taken vacation time from work to cover it. Again, after the initial redness there was very little peeling which to me meant that this laser definitely did not go deep enough to garner the results I was hoping for. After several phone conversations I was set up with another consultation on August 30th where I was informed by the technician she agreed that I didn't get the results I was looking for but let's give it another 30 days or so to see if the results were any better. We then scheduled another consultation for September 20, 2025. At this consult the technician agreed once again that I didn't get the results I was looking for and even mentioned doing a "coring" treatment with the Ultra Clear which is deeper?? This was the very first time I had even heard of this level for the Ultra Clear treatments. She told me that she would speak to the owner and see what they could do to get me the results I was looking for. I left the offices at SCMS believing they would at least get back to me one way or the other. That was the last time I heard from them and it is now December 27, 2025 so I can only assume that they were not going to make this right. Before posting this review I decided to let SCMS about my review and Mark from SCMS immediately got back to me. He was grateful that I hadn't posted the negative review and promised that they would now use the Coring procedure which should have been done in the first place, that was last December 2025. He said he would have Kylie call me, which she did in January 2026 and she reassured me that I would have that treatment and would call back with a treatment date, although I would need to go to the Newport Beach office to have it done. It is now nearly July 2026 and I've never received a call, I'm sorry SCMS wasted not only my money but my time...Ultra Clear is simply not what it's cracked up to be, I truly feel scammed, shame on SCMS.

I contacted Cosmetic Laser Dermatology because I was interested in a specific cosmetic filler…read moretreatment and wanted basic pricing before scheduling. The experience was disappointing and, in my opinion, not transparent. I asked multiple times for pricing on a clearly defined request: two syringes of cheek filler, including common options such as Voluma, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Contour, or RHA 4. Instead of a meaningful estimate, I was told the price could range from $400 to $3,000. That range is so broad that it is almost meaningless. The real concern is that the practice then expects patients to pay a $250 consultation fee just to find out what the service may actually cost. I fully understand that a physician needs to evaluate anatomy, goals, product choice, and treatment planning before giving a final recommendation. But for common self-pay cosmetic injectables, a medical practice should be able to provide baseline pricing, including consultation fees, per-syringe pricing, and realistic treatment ranges before asking someone to pay for a consult. The staff member I spoke with was polite, and this review is not about the doctors' clinical skill. The physicians may be excellent. My concern is with the business policy and the lack of upfront pricing transparency. As someone who has worked in healthcare for many years, I found this approach troubling. Patients should not have to pay $250 just to get basic pricing information for a commonly performed cosmetic service. It creates mistrust and makes the financial side of the practice feel opaque and unfair. I chose not to move forward because I did not feel comfortable with the pricing process. I would encourage the practice to publish clear pricing ranges, train staff to answer basic cost questions, and provide patients with useful cost information before requiring a paid consultation.
