I've had mixed experiences with this place. Some of the staff are kind, and some are rude. This time, the person doing my fingers cut me. It hurt :( and the gel was so thin that I could see my nail beds and tips through it. When I commented on this, they said "well that's just the color you picked," but another tech was kind enough to suggest an additional coat of another color on top. My fingernails and toenails both ended up shaped unevenly. I remember having a better experience last time. For the price, I expect better quality and not to be injured. read more

They recently updated their floors and added some awesome touches to the salon to make it feel cozy and spa-like. You can enjoy HGTV on the televisions, music, and a free drink. This is a solid team of hardworking employees and competitive prices. Happy hour all day Monday and Tuesday for pedicures, manicures and gel = 20% off plus dip for $40. I've had various nail techs and they are all wonderful, you can't go wrong with anyone. My nails last a month without any chips or breaks and the designs look just as good as the day I got them. The ladies here are fantastic at creating the look you have for your nails and have great suggestions on what to get if you're undecided. My favorite set was the Halloween one they did for me; the design, shaping, and color looked better than the picture I brought in. Every experience I've had has been a great one. I came here because I'm new to uptown & it's walking distance from my place. Vibe is weird, as soon as I walked in you have the owner trying to upsell you on everything. I've been a total of 3 times so far and my nails are breaking and disgusting by week 2. The products they use are so cheap, at my old nail spot I used to go 4 weeks without any breakage, pricing is up there for the salon give & the products they use. On top of that I experienced the owner fighting with a customer because she wanted a 10% off discount since someone messed up her nails. I spent about 2+ hours here getting a mani and pedi with my mani being gel and my toes being gel as well. They also removed the gel on my toes from a previous set - overall a very positive experience. V and Kay were great. Only negative really was the price - it was really pricey. I paid $175 including tip for the mentioned service - couldn't see myself doing that every 2 weeks. This in mind - I guess you pay for what you get. Overall, I had a great experience, the ombré is slightly more pinkish than nude even after I showed them what I wanted, as you can tell from the pictures but I can still work with it. They kept saying someone will be right with me. This went on until 12:50 and I finally had to just leave and let the staff know I couldn't wait any longer. Sooo disappointed :( I really wanted to find a new salon after moving to the area. I always get dipping powder on my natural nails and it usually lasts 3-4 weeks without chipping. I got my nails done here before a trip on Monday, and by Thursday they were completely chipped and ruined. I've never had dipping powder chip like this before. They offer to fix your nails, but something is definitely not right given how easily and how many of my nails chipped in such a short time. read more

My gel X set was fine. But i got acrylic and gel on my toes. The acrylic on one toe was round i had mentioned i like quare filing anymore would have made it very short so i didnt ask again to have it fixed. But the biggest issue of all was my gel, it was laid on way too thick or just not cured enough because when i got home 2 hours later there was wet gel polish all over my feet. My gel on all my toes were still wet so all the semi cured gel on top just peeled up. I dont live near dallas so i cant even come in to get it fixed i have to go somewhere else and pay another $30. read more

Nikki did such a good job and was able to help me get the exact color and shape that I wanted. Prices are fair and they offer free beverages (I had a diet coke but I know they offer wine as well)! Nikki and John are my go-to's for pedicures and Holly does an amazing NexGen manicure. Fantastic experience & great value! I went all out with the $100 pedi, and it was worth every bit. The pedi & massage lasted almost an hour and a half and staff were very kind and professional. The salon is also located in a great area near some yummy coffee shops (I recommend Foxtrot!) so you can grab coffee before heading over for some pampering. I was contacted and was given an apology and an offer for a complimentary service to make up for it. This was a very nice gesture and highly appreciated. Vincent was very patient as I was trying to pick my colors based off of a picture from the internet and was checking in with me to ensure everything was okay. At one point I asked since they do not have the colors that I want, if he can just do a marble design on the ring fingers and he said he didn't know how. He was very gentle with my cuticles and it did not hurt at all and they do not look jagged at all from cutting too much. He gave a great massage and painted them well. He didn't really try to make a conversation besides communicating about the manicure, but I was okay with that since I was really tired and he seemed tired as well. He seemed to be so meticulous, I thought everything was superb at first. He even picked up my hand and filed them after the initial cutting and filing. I guess he must have been too tired that day as I was the last appointment or...not sure what happened, because 9 of my nails are crooked....being longer on the left side. Only 4 are noticeable at a quick glance, but I must have been really tired and too trusting haha. It helps that I chose neutral colors and 4 out of 10 fingers have a glittery finish. I wish I would've asked them to be shorter as it would've been less noticeable. I realized this when I got home. This is after him taking a long time to file, so I was checking more for any streaks or blemishes as I have never encountered my nails being crooked from service. I'm really not trying to knock them down or be difficult, but I don't want to keep asking to fix something. They do have great customer service and I like the salon. My nails haven't changed colors this time nor chipped and it hardly chipped at all the first time (just one very small chip on my left index finger and my ring finger was starting to peel slightly, but I had kept it on for like 4 weeks since I've been so busy, so this is incredibly long lasting). I am not really sure if I will be back since I keep having issues, but maybe I just had bad luck. They do listen to their customers and are willing to make up for their mistakes in a professional manner, and seem to have many regulars so I will give a 4 instead of a 3. read more
