I used Lawn Love and it was not worth it. They had to ask if I had an extension cord to be able to finish my front lawn. They still had to begin the backyard which is twice as big as the front. When done, they left a lot unfinished. There were many mohawks and patches of lawn uncut. Plus they damaged the front left of my garage. Like they backed the mower into it. They asked for a review in which I pointed these out but they never replied or answered to it. I'll never use them again. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. How unprofessional. They don't call or show on the days they are scheduled. Then a month later they show up out of nowhere unannounced after services were cancelled due to their failure to show... Fast forward over a month, they show up unannounced and not requested by us at all. Found them on camera as well as someone who was home and decided to call my father obscenities via email after we notified them they were trespassing at this point... When they didn't call or show the first two times, the service was canceled as we found ourselves doing business elsewhere. They charged us anyway, even if they don't perform any work! I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this has been THE WORST experience I've ever had with a company. Things that I wish I'd known before hiring this service: 1. They don't have actual lawncare providers working for them. They utilize gig workers, so if you sign up for a service and nobody agrees to do it, they just don't show up and keep rescheduling. 2. This is likely why they require you sign up for a 3 mow MINIMUM package...they probably have a hard time retaining customers when they can't actually ensure anyone will show up. 3. The other thing to note is their extremely poor customer service...you'll wait literally hours to get a call back. Just do yourself a favor and skip this company. I wish I had. read more

DONT DO IT!! I signed up for it and the first guy came out and used an electric lawnmower and used my electricity lol and didn't even cut it short. He showed up late around 4 pm and then at 11 pm when I got home from work there was still dandelions in my yard where he was supposed to of mowed lol. Crazy!! Then someone was supposed to come back out to fix it and never showed!! Then when someone finally came I got charged again when it was supposed to be free! Then TRUE GREEN CAME OUT AND DID A SERVICE I DID NOT ORDER OMG WHAT THE HECK!!!! They was threw this service as well. A tech company disguised as a lawn-service - and I got the feeling that was calling a call center in another country, too - ick. I didn't hire their services, but you're asked to sign up/ask for a bid (w/ your address, phone and email) on their website and watch as your email box becomes flooded and your phone rings immediately (with a area code that matches your cell phone's area code ). The pricing from the emails to the folks who called me were inconsistent and then just for shits and giggles, I called THEM and got slightly different rates from the others. We've been using them during for about a year for bi-weekly care during growing season for the lawn at our rental house and it's been great not to have to worry about it. If there's a need to reschedule they are very good about communicating. Also good about communicating when service will occur so that we can give our renters a heads up. They are also good at letting us reschedule when we need to. We've just used their one time service on our own lawn for the first time as we've been traveling for work a lot and our lawn desperately needed a spring clean up. Showed up once, I got a call from Lawn love saying they could start on Monday and they would mow and weed the yard for one flat price. Sounded to good to be true, but read some reviews and thought worth a shot. The day came and halfway through I got an email saying they would come that day or the next..I'm thinking hmmm. I was told it would be today. A few hours later I got a text saying they were on their way. Okay I wait and wait, As I have a dog door and needed to lock the dogs in the house. Couple hours later Nice guy shows up and gets to work, starting at 6pm we are sitting down for dinner, he worked till the sun went down mowing and weed-eating the edges. Looked great, text me said I will return tomorrow sun is gone. Okay great just let me know what time. Okay. Next day comes and goes, nobody, next day same but he text and apologized for being behind schedule. This continued every day last week. Monday they were supposed to return for the second weekly visit but still hadn't finished the first visit! Monday comes and goes, nothing I email the company, they apologize and send an email confirming Tuesday or Wednesday. Wednesday evening I get another email saying Thursday or Friday. Now I call, cancel say forget it. Call another company that was 10 dollars more per week when I got quotes and they were out here 8:15 this morning work done! They will be returning weekly now. They also had the same amount of work done in 30 minutes with 2 guys. I am waiting on confirmation of cancellation and a refund of the work that was never completed read more

I called for service as I was moving out if a rental and needed a whole yard cleanup. The person I spoke to had no concept of landscaping needs. She could not wrap her mind around my request for edging, weeding, leaf cleanup, weed whacking, and put me down for mowing and weeding. A day later, I guess the contractor that picked up my service called me and tried to get me up cancel the service with Lawn Love and deal directly with him. (I should have done so). Day of service, it's getting late so I call Lawn Love to see where the crew is, and the man I spoke to this time told me "the landscaper will be there in a few moments", and ALSO, "it is entirely possible the landscaper will be there today". It seemed like this was a callcenter in another country. He was just saying phrases but didn't know what they meant. The landscaper did show up later that day after we had left the house. He did a bad job on weed whacking the fence and weeding, and stole the house keys that were zip tied under the spigot for the landlord. In the end, our house deposit is going for a real landscaping company to do the job right and to rekey the house. read more

After job completion they sent pictures of their work to ensure the work was satisfactory. This was the second time having George and his crew do my yard after finding an application called Lawn Love while we searching desperately for a landscaper to get my yard in shape after being neglected all winter. It has only been one week since the initial service but they recommended coming back sooner then 2 weeks (what I had signed up for) after the first mow bc my lawn was so long. They were able to get it cut much shorter this time and without the grass turning all brown, and my yard looks great, again! I would give them 5 stars for my initial appt with them last week as well. I thought I had listed a review but I guess not. They are quick, friendly and independent. The first time I only spoke with one of the workers because I was leaving right as their team showed up and when I returned they were finishing up. That's when george recommend I rebook for a week instead of 2 for the next time. This time I was inside and heard them start but was not feeling well and it was great to know they didn't need me ! I'm lucky i found the lawn love app. I'm a renter and this house has a decent front and backyard and side too. I could not find anyone to do my lawn or let me borrow a mower and by the time the pros got there it was beyond just a mower. Needed weedwhacking. Great guys and super convenient app. They did my estimate quickly and at $36 I thought it was more than fair . I wasn't charged anything other than that either, which i was pleased about. When I initially downloaded the app and requested my quote I had done the same with 2 other similar applications, task easy and lawn pros. Lawn Love responded to my request and had me booked within 3 days (I contacted on a Thurs or Fri and by the Monday I had a service date for that Friday I believe). Both the other apps were very slow to get back to me, one has been calling me non stop I had to block them and the other one scheduled a service without ever asking me if I wanted it after they took over a week to even respond with a quote! Couldn't be happier with the app or the team that I was paired with and my lawn looks amazing. such a relief read more

This company is a huge disappointment. At first they were quick and their online portal was convenient. Unfortunately that is where the positives end. They scheduled my appointment a few days out. That provider ended up not being able to make it within the service window. So I called and rescheduled for another day. That provider did make it out but after I showed them the job and left them to it I received an email from Lawn Love saying due to illness the provider has to reschedule. I went out to see what was happening and they were driving off. I asked them what was going on and they said they needed their friend with a truck (even though the service I booked specifically said haul away service included and they showed up in a Honda Civic) and they would come back in a few days to finish the job. So I wait another few days and when that day comes I periodically check on Lawn Love and it says my provider is working in my area and will be here soon. So I wait. And I wait some more. And at 8pm I get another email saying "oh no your provider had to reschedule for another day". So here I am still waiting on my job to be completed. I don't think they are ever going to show up. Definitely do not get involved with this company. They have great tech and good customer service when you call but they are affiliated with very unreliable people that never actually show up to do the work. read more

This is a "national" company with a clunky system and poor customer service. I was trying to get a bid for upkeep of common areas in a small HOA, and they automatically scheduled a service for my personal address without ever reading my very detailed request (services needed, frequency, size of area, etc.). When I tried to correct it by calling customer service, I had to speak to 2 different people - neither of whom bothered to read my original request until I pushed them to - and was finally told that if I couldn't provide an exact address for all common areas, then they couldn't provide me a bid (these are parking strips and play areas without a specific address). Basically, if they can't do it online, they can't be bothered. I'm going to keep my money local, and find a company that understands lawn services and cares about its customers vs. just trying to make a quick, fast buck! read more

The customer service would get zero stars if that was possible. We had an appointment for Friday morning and the guy never showed, but reported he had come and treated the lawn. We were home all day Friday and our gates to the back yard have locks so this was an obvious lie. We had to call 3 times to explain a not very difficult issue. They wanted to send someone out on Tuesday but were still going to charge us for Friday for the service we never received. The lady kept arguing with me until I said I was going to report them to the BBB unless they cancelled the charges and the service. She said "Fine!" and hung up on me.
