My family and my in-laws have been coming here for years. My family rents a house in nearby Dillon Beach and my in-laws park their motor home at Lawson's Landing campsite. It's a great place for families to run amok and just generally have a good time. You can camp, fish or go crab catching off the pier. You can go clamming. You can run all over the adjacent dunes. You can bring your dogs, but they have to be on leashes. This place was AMAZINGLY crowded over Thanksgiving, but most people were polite and didn't create too much havoc. Per their website: Lawson's Landing is located in the northwestern corner of Marin county. We are about (1.5) one and a half hours north of the Golden Gate Bridge with the Pacific Ocean as our western boundary and Tomales Bay as our southern. Coming from inland areas you want to head west on Washington St. in Petaluma. Traveling toward Bodega Bay about (8) eight miles, then make a left on Tomales Rd. At the stop sign on highway one make a right turn up the hill into Tomales. Take the first left on Dillon Beach Road (4) four miles to Dillon Beach. This place is A-okay. We ventured out for a weekend with about 40 friends; we took over like eight or nine spots. Some camped in tents, others had RV's. The campsites themselves are a little odd shaped and just kind of follow the lay of the land- they are marked with what are essentially plastic lids that mark the four corners of each site. We were in M14 which is on an end and backs up to the dunes. We had a table and a fire ring on our site which was nice, but we ended up spending time on our other friends campsites.. It did get cold here, foggy, humid by the beach, and a little windy. We didn't have any problems with the staff, we left late one night and the woman at the gate told us to "drive safe". The crowd is mixed, lots of families, guys out fishing etc.. We did get a sourpuss next to one of our friends who was complaining that we were "being loud"- granted it was a Friday night in the middle of the summer by the beach- who in their right mind wouldn't be out with music and beers at 10pm? Really I don't believe they were in the right to complain; if you want it to be quiet then find a camping spot where you aren't next to anyone and don't have neighbors. There is an issue with some nice little presents being left by cows that walk around in the middle of the night on the property. Recommend: bring a shovel and park or place your stuff in an appropriate area. I would come here again, but it's not my favorite. read more

Besides the wind, this place was quite nice. After reading some very harsh reviews I was somewhat apprehensive about my weekend here, but none of them shared my experience. Sure there are no showers or flush toilets, but for $35 next to the beach what do you expect. There were some dried up cow pies, but not enough to be a nuisance at all. Not 1 cow was seen. Everyone was nice. Toilets were cleaned every day. Most campsites are grass or bay view. I would recommend this place. Just be prepared for the wind. read more

Came out to do some crab fishing and ended up crab stuffed. The fishing and feeding frenzy was fun. This is a great place to fly kites, take in the fresh ocean air and get away for swivelization and spin Dr. news bombardment. (Just be sure to check the local weather before planning a trip as it can be real weather hard times).Dillion Beach is located along the long inlet of the Bodega Bay Coast, just over the hilly roads from Petaluma (chicken farming king of NorCal), so the road ride is full of bucolic scenarios of sheep and cows grazing on green sloped hills. Dillon is almost always fog locked and visibility limited, but our holiday karma was good and it was clear, sunny and warm enough to just wear a fleece top or long sleeve shirt, instead of the usual Army edition fur lined parka and wool fisherman's high neck sweater underneath. We ran around in shorts and kicked back on our camping chairs marveling at the coastal scenery, some days it's said you can see Elk herds on yonder hill across the inlet waters. Since our hosts had their Weekend Warrior home on wheels, we only needed a $8 visitor overnite "day pass" at the gate, and it's first come first find, when it comes to the best spots. There are folks whom have their motor home trailers in "permanent" lots with fences (to keep the "free range" grazing cows roaming though "their" front yard) and propane tanks and solar for electrical power. But it's mostly wayward campers in large staycation trailers, so tell your friends to post their flag high so you can find them. We stayed at the Seawall, so we were right on the beach just behind the low seawall-with a great view of the whole water front and fishing fun, near the piers and had our rubber boat right there to set and pick up crab traps for this jolly season. it wasn't as windy as it usually is and the wind here can really roll hard, some say they have to use ear plugs to sleep, others self medicate with whiskey and tequila or beer. Dogs and kids run amok, frolicking in the seaside fun, checking washed up jelly fish and playing fetch. I'd say it's mostly a family feel but the economy may have forced some of these po' folks to be here as a primary "home". So yeah, teh bathrooms are no better than you will find at a rock concerta nd so camping in a triler with your own throne, is the best plan. Be preparred to prepare to dare. We caught 6-8 large Dungeness crabs every 20 minutes or so in the afternoon and evening, after setting the traps in the morning, even a couple of red rock crabs. They all taste good but the Dungeness is sweeter my dear. Best boiled with butter and garlic, (no need to salt silly!) The roads could use more gravel. Mud and puddle potholes are more fun to watch someone else drive through than drive thru yourself. This would make the experience better as it you end up wearing rubber boots or snow boots as the mud gets everywhere. The people at the front desk are really nice. They have cameras to ensure all license plates pay of overnight and this also helps keep thieves from rolling in late at nite and taking advantage of open campsites. Remember it's $20 to get your boat towed to the launch EACH WAY jose' ( in and out)! There's a great biat, fishing store that has all taht you could need and a short drive out of the beach to Dillon will find you morning fresh bakery goods and a newspaper near hiway 1. We ate crab omelets, grilled crab sandwiches and crab salad for dinner, while the cook wore a shirt asking " GOT CRABS?". We paid our bill, enjoyed the thrill and ate our fill! My friends told me how great this place was.so, we decided to check it out what a complete piece of cr@p I might as well set up camp at walmart for sure would have cleaner toilets. that's not camping it cramping, to see how many RVs you can jamb in one area oh and lets see how much of your stuff gets stolen? come on people this has run a muck most people would like more then 3' of room before bumping into the next RV. and shouldn't there be a quiet time? never again :( read more

We spent a 4 day, 3 night trip in April 2021. We had initially the RV neighbors from hell down at the seawall area, They were too drunk and kept coming into our site at all hours of the day and night with their 5 loose hunting dogs going thru our site and gear even after saying something to them repeatedly. and Cameron who works at Lawsons' Landing relocated us to another site upon our request. Kudos to Cameron for listening and helping to make a resolution. The rest of our stay was so peaceful, we laughed, slept good, and enjoyed walking the beach and area. I'd definitely go back again, our staff was kind, polite, roads were smoothed out nicely, they had folks walking around and collecting garbage, and the store was quaint and has all you need. Best of all, Cameron took our complaint seriously and helped turn what could have been the trip from hell into a very pleasant stay! Thank You Cameron!! Stayed here with a group of 12 overnight for Memorial Day weekend. It was great! We had a couple campsites(513 and 514) that were absolutely perfect! To get to the beach all we had to do was walk over a small hill. There were dogs everywhere, people were generally ok with noise, and since it's not a state park, alcohol was super fine. Based on other people's reviews online, I was a little skeptical. But for 45$ a night it's hard to complain! Everyone I brought(none of us had been before) said they would love to go back! Make sure you follow the rules about cars. They don't have overflow parking, and you can park on the street like a mile down the road but it's inconvenient. So when they say "1 car per campsite" it's a rule not a guideline. But also, you might not have as nice of an experience as we did. Some of the campsites weren't as nice as ours, and like other people said. Not all campsites have a fire pit. read more

We have been going camping here since I was a little girl. We go several times a year and even though each trip may not be perfect I know the staff does their best to keep the facility running smoothly and they show respect when they do have to come and speak with campers (cough cough) who sometimes get a little loud. It was the first time we were ever approached and I did not take offense as they want everyone to have an enjoyable time. Reservations are now required which can be frustrating for those people who REFUSE to read the clearly written instructions on the website. The sites are roomy and if your group plans it right it's actually nice to be able to know where you are going to be camping at before you get there. I read reviews about racism and I am a minority and I have never encountered rudeness from the staff, even when there were concerns. Oh and I have to say I love the little poppy who runs around on the golf cart. He is a treasure. read more

Note: will definitely give 5 stars if there were showers. We camped here in July and was skeptical after all the bad reviews we read. We were very hesitate to book the place. Overall we had a great time, we camped along the seawall W9-W12. Our first impression when we drove in was Dillon Beach, it looked so nice, then we drove to Lawson's Landing... not as nice because we were driving through a trailer park, and not the nice kind (not sure if there are such things as a nice trailer parks). Finally we reached our site, it looks a lot nicer then we imagined it, especially after driving a mile through the trailer parl. We were right on the beach with a small wall (1 feet on the camping side, but dropped down to 2 1/2 feet on the beach side) we just climb over to get to the beach, little ones from 6 years old to older ones 60+ climbed it without a problem. If you don't want too climb the wall you can walk a little ways down to get to the beach. We also had views of the "pier" as well. The kids went crabbing and fishing, they didn't catch any fish but got a few Red Rock crabs? (I think that's what it was called), they were reminded constantly that Dungeness wasn't in season, and every time they pulled a line, all the locals were staring making sure they didn't take the wrong ones. In the morning people were digging for horse neck clams which was a nice site to watch, we tried and failed at that as well. There were more than 30 of us. We were surrounded by motor homes, and we were the only ones camping in Tents, which didn't bother us at all. We were pretty loud, some of us stayed til 2-3 in the morning drinking. The workers drove by a few times at night but didn't say anything about the noise. I think if we were in the other camping areas such as the M or N they would of told us to keep in down because there were more tent campers and I could see them complaining. We did walk to Dillon Beach and had to pass camp sites V, M and N and we would definitely been disappointed if we camped there, with no ocean views. V is surrounded by trailer homes, M and N were surrounded by dunes. Management was pretty nice unlike the reviews we read. Lawson's is a blight on beautiful tomales bay. My wife and I camped there for one night and were so put off by the rude staff, drunks and litter that we left the next day to find better lodging. It is a shame that an establishment like Lawson's is given free reign to occupy and degrade this important coastal dune ecosystem. Hopefully their days are numbered. read more

It's such a beautiful area, but do not go there to camp. They give priority to Huge RV's and do not separate out the two from each other. We literally had to sleep between two massive RV's with generators - at least they have quiet hour after 10, but that doesn't work well if you have kids that need to go to bed before then. It was extremely sad to witness they chose $$ and loud RV partiers, over what could be an amazing and beautiful get away spot. I would return to go back for a day pass to put kayaks in the water or to rent a boat from the landing area, but camping there is out of the question. Never again. In fact... let me add, because I probably have not really been harsh and honest enough here, that this is hands down the worst car camping experience I've every been through. The filthy portapotties, and the fact that this is such a pristine amazing location right at the mouth of Tamales bay, it just makes no sense. They need a new owner, or someone that has a clue about what it means to enjoy the outdoors, and how to take care of the environment they should be protecting. There was actually a Semi on the meadow 4 campsites down from ours. I should have taken a picture... but really, who wants to take a picture of a Semi 4 doors down from their campsite. read more

I won't be back unless I'm desperate. Just joined some friends for one night (they were in RVs, we were in a tent) for the first time here, and I am actually really concerned that this can be considered a campground. It's basically a field/parking lot with sites marked off with white chalk and some ghetto paint lids with campsite numbers on them. I didn't have a huge issue with noise from other campers, other than the occasional person driving by in the middle of the night for whatever reason. The porta-potties were NASTY, there is not one ounce of privacy in the entire campground, and the fact that you have to hope you find an unused fire ring and lug it to your camp site in order to enjoy a STAPLE of camping (a campfire) is just really ridiculous. The beach is beautiful, about a 5-minute hike over a couple dunes. read more

We will never come back to this campground! My husband and I camp frequently with our trailer and we are from the Shasta lake area. We are hardworking (teacher and truck driver) and have precious little time with our kids and grandkids that live in the north bay. This is the worst we have been treated by a camp host. We reserved ahead and paid for our kids to join us. They were charged to park. Not knowing we would have to pay for an overnight fee, we were yelled at and told our kids cars were not to come back in for the remainder of our visit! We will not be spending any more of our hard earned money or our precious time at this campground. We felt unwelcome and degraded by the way we were treated. A recommendation to the management...hire someone who knows how to run a business & speak kindly to your guest and find a way to welcome people that arrive in separate cars. Your policy per campsite is outrageous. We hope it gets better...and too bad for those who try to take advantage...but speaking/explaining kindly to your guests is a must, and doesn't cost a thing. If it weren't for the family we were meeting, we would have cut our trip short over the unwelcome treatment (who wants to stay where you are not welcome) We will search other places for a more kind welcome. Great beach camping and awesome crabbing! Love the meadow with grass camp sites and the dunes to protect you from the wind. Wish there were hookups but bring your generator and you will be fine. Premium pull through sites are large enough for a huge trailer, 2 cars and 4 to 5 tents. Yes, there are cows depending on time of year that you go. Was there in August last year and didn't see a cow or a cow patty. Went this year at the end of September and we had cows and cow patties. Make sure to bring a shovel so you can shovel cow poop out of your site!! And, put your food and snacks away or the cows will walk into your sight in the evening/after dark and eat your goodies!!! read more

I've loved this place for so many years, and was delighted to find it just as magical as I'd remembered! We stayed for one night in M17 (awesome they have designated sites and an online reservation system now!) and our camp was lovely, clean, and surrounded by delightful neighboring campers a comfortable distance away. I brought my boyfriend and my daughter, who were both first-timers to Lawson's Landing, and was excited to share one of my favorite spots with them. I have to admit, since it's been a few years since my last visit, the negative Yelp reviews made me raise an eyebrow - but I kept the faith, and so glad I did! We have been camping here for years, this last trip was the worst. We paid for 6 spaces, when we pulled in the gate we asked if we could park our trailers and motor homes in a circle not exceeding our spots ( we have kids and dogs and it's easier to make a barrier so it's easier to watch them as people speed up and down the road). So we parked our trailers in a circle and about 3 hours later a guy pulls up and says we can't park like that, I tried to explain to him I asked at the gate and they told me we could. Long story short he said he was the owner (Justin) and we couldn't, he was extremely rude. We even paid for an extra space. I get it's one vehicle per space but we had 5 vehicles and 6 spaces? The people next to me had 6 cars in one space not to mention they were parked over my line, I didn't see Justin stop by and say anything since he was the parking police. I would also like to point out the dock is permanently closed. They also came to our campsite and told us to shut our generator off, We shut it off no problem but yet people lit fireworks all night and it wasn't even Fourth Of July not to mention blasting their music. One positive thing about our trip was Doug, he works there and he's extremely professional. Doug should be running the place as he's more of a people person. read more

We just got back from Lawson's Landing this evening. I am glad I did not rely on these reviews, we almost canceled our reservations after I read them. We decided to check it out anyways, and I am glad we did. Yes, it is crowded on Saturdays. Lots of RV's, and lots of groups of kids. Some of the people were rude rednecks, who blasted their weird music until 11pm...lots of laughing and cajooling during the night. But, on Sunday, they all went home. We were 4 women, and 7 kids...tent & bus camping. We adults ALL remarked that we have seen much worse porta potties at summer concerts. They are actually clean. And come Monday morning, they were thoroughly cleaned...yippee! We went clamming, and the kids went pier fishing. The people at the bait shop were nice, and so were the other fishermen at the pier. The trailer park was pretty eclectic. Again, I am only writing this because people made it sound trashy. We found fun, funky trailers, some with full grown herb gardens. There were a few run down ones in between, but we ended up taking pictures of lots of them because they were cool. Really, I am not sure what happened with the other reviewers, maybe it was the time of year. We encountered friendly staff (had their own humor, but friendly), the place is great for kids. The location is fabulous. We are going back, now that we scouted out the best sites and we know what to prepare for. We camped on the meadow. No cows (we were a bit disappointed...were looking forward to cows), or cow patties. There were lots of dogs, and they pooped, boo on the owners who did not pick up after their dogs. I have a dog, I can pooper scoop, so can you. It is cold. Really cold, and windy. We came from Sacramento 105 heat, to freezing wind & fog. If you are tent camping, bring good stakes, and a tarp to block the wind. Pack your woolies, and bring lots of firewood. read more

Wonderful views. Space 733 is the best. They have portapottys only. There are no hookups. You can go crabbing off the pier and even fish by the sea wall. It's around $40 a night . Wind is VERY STRONG. Clamming is great here so bring bucket and shovel. It's very basic. I recommend coming during the week so you'll have less people around you. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I just brought my huge family (Parents, Kids, Brothers, etc) One camp space actually fit all of us. It was $30.00 a night, first come first serve. Up side is a beautiful clean beach, great dunes, and activities from sand castles to crabbing. Down side is very crowded, day use is not clean and in the middle of a run down trailer park, and the staff at the gate were not friendly and very stressed. All in all I give it a solid 4 stars! We were off to see California and Lawsons Landing was as far as we got. Where else can you live at the beach, enjoy all the beach weather, and meet interesting people. The staff that work at the Landing have seen it all. They are accommodating and rules are clearly posted. Not everyone wants to following them and so they won't have the best of experiences. I've seen "visitors" speed through the campground and fuss when they are told to slow down. Of course the fish and game are here because even though you need a fishing license to crab, clam or fish, most people won't read the rules to stop at their limits or measure to make sure their catch is of legal size. The locals are like a family, and once you share a few fish stories they open up and talk of their latest catch, give advice on lures, and share a beer or two. Your experience is what you make of it. The Landing is a family campground. Kids ride their bikes, fish off the pier, play on the beach and slide down the dunes. Families sit around the campfire at night and play games with their kids. Multi-generations have been coming to Lawsons Landing and once you get some of the visitors talking you will find the grandparents were camping at the Landing since they were kids with their grandparents. Lawsons Landing is also a working ranch, which means cows. Like bears at Yosemite they are nuisances at time. People try to befriend the cows and find, like feeding the bears, that these animals are not pets. If you leave food out overnight, the cows will have breakfast at your expense. So will the seagulls. I've enjoyed the Landing, the old school charm, Dillon Beach Store and the locals. In the end your experience at the Landing is up to you. No Hurries... No Worries read more

Stayed in spot 729 down on the sea wall Drove through what looked like the set of The Walking Dead to get there. This was the permanent rv site in the middle of the campground that you can't miss. Facilities ... Zero. Unless you count porta potties. Everything is either boarded up or broken, including the road. Ambiance...not much and sites are way too close to each other. Scenery... Impressive. I don't expect much from a campsite but this place is a hell hole. read more

This was my first time camping here in over 10 years. I love the area, and we lucked out on really good weather!! I am giving it 3 stars because it isn't necessarily the nicest campsite I've ever been to. I feel like they should upgrade and get some bathroom facilities or showers instead of porta potties. This place is always packed! It's not like they can't afford building one!! That leads me to my next ughhhh moment, the camp sites are so small it's like you are stacked on top one another. And since we like to listen to country music and drink until late night, that wasn't really happening there because we would disturb neighbors. Overall, I would go back again. Just because it's right by the beach and the beach is so pretty. However, they could make some improvements to the site. read more

Expensive, gross port-a-potties, no water, some sites (like ours) didn't even have a fire ring, loud. Privately owned campground where it seems like they must have destroyed sand dunes to make this awful eye sore. Don't bother tent camping here - they clearly want to make money off of RVs. We would have driven up the coast to the next campground but it took us 45 min to get into Dillon Beach with stand still traffic and there is only one way in and out. Got a site next to the port-a-potties. Basically paid for a small patch of grass covered in about 6 cow paddies with a picnic table. Not even a fire ring, just a spot on the ground. Luckily it's a wet year with the rains. The only saving grace is that the beach is beautiful on the other side of the sand dunes. People were catching delicious looking giant crabs. But I would skip over Dillon Beach completely in the future. read more

If you're a crabber good place to camp. However; the staff not so nice. I'm a 31ft motor home with a small SUV. We weren't towing because I don't have a tow hitch yet. So I drove in separately like I do at all camping places. Because I wasn't towing I wasn't able to camp in the spot I was assigned. I tried to explain it's the same thing. Once I get settled I would be separate anyway. A motor home with a towed vehicle is considered as one. But since we weren't attached it was considered 2. They refused to offer me a parking spot any where (and I did offer to pay ). The inconsiderate girls wanted me to park my vehicle outside and walk (btw I'm handicap) to the site which is I'm sure a good 1 mile away. The only accommodation they would do is swap my site for a 2 vehicle spot which was away from my family. Cameron got very upset and rude when I told him the girls in front expected me to walk all that way. Even a little bit scary like I hit a sore spot. And he refused to let me talk to a manager. We did move and had a great time but a little bit away from my family which made it a little difficult. BTW there were cars parked illegally all through the park and rules were broken by many. I really feel they were just being unreasonable and uncaring. read more

I've been coming to this place since 2014 and to be honest, my friends and I always have a great time! I can't think of any place that lets you camp so close to the water. Granted- the entire place is a little run down, I still love it. They have port-a-potties that seem to be cleaned pretty regularly. The only problem is that some people come here and are incredibly trashy. For the most part, all of the neighbors I've had while camping were very nice, and respectable. This last time I came, our group was next to a rather large party-they were very inebriated the entire time, which is fine. People go camping to get a break and I get it, but when it gets to the point that you're urinating all over your campsites when the port-a-potties are literally 30 ft from your site- you need to have a morality check. We were lucky enough to grab a sea wall site which puts you up right next to the water and our neighbors were so drunk that both the men and women would just piss over the siding. The camp host did give them a noise warning the next day and they were a bit more quiet the following night but you can't expect much when the sites are so close together. All in all, if you bring everything you need, you won't need to bother with the over priced store. The sites are a little cramped but honestly, if you're looking for solitude, try and plan your trip earlier in the year around January or February. Tent camping cost is up to $30 per night. Also there are now restrictions on where you can camp. The dunes are no longer open range for tents. Closed due to preservation efforts. Still a great place to go camp, crab and run the dogs along the long, open beach. Just know that you will be close to other campers and not in open dunes as in the past. I took a star off due to this new policy: they now charge $30 per car, instead of charging per site and allowing the standard two cars like most other campgrounds. This was my only complaint, so next time we will just pack it all in one vehicle! read more

I grew up camping here with my Grand Parents and Boy Scout troop. Clamming, crabbing, fishing and playing in the dunes. Now its my turn to extend the family tradition that i had the benefit of. Its camping outdoors in a large popular area. There are always going to be people we don't like camping around. We just got done with our 3rd year camping at Lawson's Landing and like usual, we had a blast. This camp ground has lots of different things to offer for everybody. We stayed at campsite O1, which was huge, so it worked out perfectly. It helps to make a reservation at least a month ahead of time but you can book one up to three months ahead of time, which I recommend doing! The price of this campsite is a little high, but not horrible. It's $30 for a tent site per night and an extra 20$ a night for a second car. There are huge sand dunes to climb to go to the beach, which is huge and so beautiful! We love to bring the dogs out there a throw a football around or fly our trick kites! There is also a doc at the end of the campsite where you can fish and crab off of! The dock usually gets very crowded with campers but if you wake up early enough, you can get some alone time to fish and set up your crab traps. The store by the dock sells crab traps and fishing supplies in case you want to try it out or if you forget about something. This year my boyfriend rented a boat from them and he brought his own motor to attach to it. It was only $60 for the day and they were able to take it out into the bay. Him and his friends had a great time. He said that there was no hassle to rent it. NOTE: The weather here is very unpredictable. This year it was foggy, cold and windy everyday. But last year we had sunshine the entire week. So I would recommend packing for mostly cold weather with lots of layers and definitely bring a beanie, but also bringing some warm clothes just in case. There is a store at the top of the hill that you can buy food and supplies if you forgot something or they also have souvenirs and toys. I recommend bringing money for wood because if it's cold, you are going to need it! In general, we are going to make this place the destination for our annual ocean camping trip as long as we can! read more

Overpriced, disgusting, and no customer service. Stayed here this past weekend with a group of about 12 and I don't have one nice thing to say about this place. Started off right at the gate. Came in with an extra car and asked if we could pay extra to have the car on the spot with us, NO. Can't do that. May as well buy an extra site or two if you want anyone to stay with you. They couldn't find our reservation, told us that we would have to rebook sites. We had other people coming that night to camp with us, we told them at the gate the kind of vehicle, who would be in the car, etc. They got to gate and they had no idea about any of the situation. Its so windy and cold, prepare yourselves. You're lucky if you have a fire ring on your spot. Make sure your stake your tent down well, and not in a cow patty. The port-o-potties are DISGUSTING. Make sure you don't get a spot by them, or you'll be hating the whole time you're there. Went to the pier on our last day there and the ladies in the store were just as rude as the ladies at the gate. Sold one of our friends a souvenir that didn't have all the pieces in it, she took it back into the store and they basically said sucks to be you. We bought a dozen SMALL oysters that were $20 and were bad, rotten when we got home later that day. Overall just a bad experience. Would love a site on the beach where you could enjoy your stay. read more

I feel that the reviews are very harsh on here. We spent many summer/fall/spring weekends here. It's a place that my husband and I have camped here as a kid. We bring our 6 year old son who loves to go. The bathrooms- not the best but if you wanted something fabulous- stay at a hotel in Bodega Bay. We stay on the seawall in our travel trailer. I can't believe people are complaining about the cows roaming. They don't bother us- a pile of poop here and there, oh well. The fun is teaching my son how to move them on our bike ride, Tip: If you don't have a picnic beach at your site- just drive around and find one. That's an unsaid rule that is known. No fire pit- find the spot that someone used before you. read more
