    Bill compared to menu.

Your menu and point of service prices are not transparent. I was charged $17.99 + $2 for Que x 2 when the menu I requested at point of sale, and also on hand at home stated $15.99 + $2 for meat upgrade. Get your menu and point of sale prices in line. While I enjoy your food, this price snafu is unacceptable!

Detroit Style Rib Tips with fried rice and cornbread
    Becca W.

First time coming here got carry out. I told them it was my first time coming and they let me order two different sauces to try with each meal, unfortunately even though how nice I thought that was I actually did not receive the extra sauce just one sauce per meal so not sure if it was because of the lack of liking the bbq sauce that did get but I had the garlic aioli which was decent and the regular lazybones bbq mild it taste like Taco Bell's mild though. Overall the brisket was the bomb! I got the rib tips and they weren't what I expected. But next time I go back will get the brisket again for sure! The potato salad was also super good.

    Texas Beef Brisket

As someone who loves good smoked barbecue, my expectations are high when trying establishments. My family was looking to have food catered for an event we were having and wanted to try a few places. We first tried their Texas sampler platter which gives you a sample of all of their smoked meats and 3 pints of their sides of your choice. It's a ton of food and their portions are huge. The sides we chose were the Mac and cheese, potato salad and bbq beans. The beans were awesome, highly recommend. After that experience, we decided to have them cater our event by selecting off of their catering menu. The process for ordering and picking up could not have been more efficient. We placed our order a week ahead of the date and picked up at 11AM the day of the grad party. The person checking the order had a checklist to ensure the accuracy of the order. For our event, we went with ribs, brisket and chicken tenders. For the sides, we went with beans, potato salad and a garden salad. Everyone who attended our grad party kept asking where we got the food. Everything turned out great! I highly recommend lazy bones if you are in the mood for barbecue for lunch, dinner or even lookin to cater. You won't be disappointed.

Pulled Pork Sandwich & Yukon Gold Potato Salad
    Victor S.

After just one bite, I knew that it was the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever tasted. The meat was incredibly tender and the bun was soft like a pillow. The potato wedges were crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. The potato salad had the perfect, creamy texture. It was my first time here and I will 100% be coming back!

Smokestack Lightening Sandwich with no homemade fried onion (due to allergy) and Ranch Fries
    Nicole S.

Let me start by saying I have developed an onion allergy - I cannot have onions of any kind or onion powder. I get VERY sick from both of these. The staff at this place took SO much time with me to figure out what I could & could not have - I was AMAZED! A young lady helped on the phone before I arrived, who found out for me that they do not have onion powder in the store and do not use it in the rub - which is why we decided it was safe & headed in to place an order. The manager, I believe, took over when we got there & really dove in to help. She double checked EVERYTHING for me! She went through all of the rubs, the base for the sauces, double checked the sides... it was fantastic! We placed our order with another super nice employee and waited. It's small place with a few bar stools at a small counter, so it's more carry-out than anything, but it's very clean. When our order was ready, the manager had just noticed we ordered Mac & cheese and said that I couldn't have it because she found it had a spice in it that was a derivative of onion. Unfortunately the original sammie I had ordered had Mac & cheese on it too. So, they let me choose another sammie instead (and they gave us the first sammie home for my hubby to eat for lunch today)! She also made sure the kitchen knew to use clean bowls, etc when making my food because of my allergy. Plus, since we checked in with Yelp, we got free yummy rip tips with a yelp coupon! I very much appreciate the extra steps they took to make sure I didn't get sick and that they made it right instead of saying "oh well," like many places would have! I will be back here for sure since I have found a yummy place that has delicious smoked meats that I can actually have (except the chicken - the seasoning blend for that has onion powder... lol). Thanks to all the staff at Lazybones! Y'all are the best

First time here. Impressive... Order to go ready in 15 mins. Ordered the Texas sampler for a family of 4. Plenty of food. Leftovers for tomorrow. Ordered the Mac n cheese, coleslaw and bacon-fried rice. Came with 4 corn breads. (I am a fan of honey butter with my Cornbread, so I had to make my own) All of it was amazing. Everyone had their favorite. Friendly staff too. We will be back.

Lazybones. My go to for BBQ in the Warren area. The staff is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are fair. Check it out if you never have.

They said it was due to the grill being backed up, but to their credit, it was ready right when I arrived and tasted fresh. The burrito itself was really solid. The grilled cheese crust on the outside was a nice touch, but what stood out even more was the underside--it had this flaky, crispy texture that made every bite satisfying. Flavor-wise, the bacon definitely carried the dish with a great smoky taste, and you'd occasionally get a nice kick from the jalapeño. The eggs were there, but I didn't notice many had brown potatoes. The few that were in there had that slightly chewy/hard/gummy texture you get from like next-day reheated hash browns, so I'm not sure what was going on there. Fresh, crispy potatoes or even their fresh fries would have taken this to the next level. Overall though, really good burrito with great texture and strong smoky flavor--just a couple tweaks away from being excellent! Also got 5 wings to try, with Carolina Gold sauce. They were great!

We visited on a Saturday night during the dinner rush and it was extremely busy. We joined the call-ahead list and were seated about 15 minutes after our arrival time, which was actually pretty reasonable considering how packed it was. We had three little kids with us, so we ordered drinks and everyone's meals right away. Everything took quite a while to reach the table, but the restaurant was clearly slammed, so it didn't seem like anyone's fault--just the result of how busy they were. Unfortunately, both my steak and my mother-in-law's steak kabobs were overcooked. We had ordered them medium and they came out well done. The kitchen did remake them, but because the restaurant was so busy it took quite a while for the replacements to come back. By the time they arrived, everyone else at the table had finished eating and our sides were already gone. The manager came over, spent some time talking with us, and adjusted our bill, which we really appreciated. He handled the situation well and seemed like a great guy who genuinely cares about the restaurant and the guests. We will definitely return, but probably not on a Saturday night during peak dinner hours.
