I went dress shopping with no expectations at all. In fact, I was a bit nervous about going dress shopping - it can be a bit intimidating. However, just upon entering the shop I felt much better. I was able to choose dresses I thought I'd like, and Maria helped point out great options, too. Maria was encouraging, patient, and so sweet throughout the whole process. Luxe was my first and last stop for my wedding gown. Maria and her staff were so helpful with everything - veil, shoes, mother of the bride gowns, bridal shower venues, etc. My mom was searching high and low throughout the racks finding gowns and I am very very picky and our consultant was so patient and kind. The bolero I ordered came in a size smaller and Maria was willing to give me the store sample to hold onto until the designer's corrected size was shipped to the store. The best experience I've had! I've been to several boutiques and bridal shops but have had horrible service experience. One place told me to go grab any of the dresses and just put them on in the fitting room by myself. Luxe Bridal was professional. I was pretty indecisive and not very confident on what I wanted. They helped me every step of the way and asked questions in regards to my style, what I like to wear, what hobbies etc. to get a feel of who I am. Based on my one and one with the stylist, we picked out some great options. My mom came with me and she was a little on the fence about the one dress I really loved. She's a traditional woman that loves tons of lace and shine, and I am the opposite of that. Maria came out and explained how the alterations I wanted would help make the dress quite elegant, and how we could order some of the shine from the bit of lace on the train of the dress and add it to the front to make it pop a bit. My mother is also Mexican and speaks English but she is more comfortable speaking Spanish and Maria explained all this in Spanish which was so kind of her. Definitely made my mom happier. I had a horrible experience at LBR Bridal. I purchased my dress 12 months prior to my wedding date and was told it would take anywhere from 4-6 months to arrive. 6 months after my purchase date and after emailing the store asking for an update with no response back, I called the store to understand what the status of my dress was. It was only then that I was told that the store was unable to locate a tracking number for my dress with the designer. The owner told me that there were likely back-ups due to Covid but I was ONLY told this after calling and emailing the store numerous times. Covid delays are understandable but it should have been the stores responsibility to contact any brides that purchased dresses through them that they could expect delays. The only option/solution the owner offered me was the sample store dress which was 2 sizes too large and would have still costed me my deposit and twice as much in alterations. When my dress finally arrived 3 1/2 months later than originally communicated and only 2 months before my wedding, the owner offered me no additional credits or even alteration discounts since the store does these through a 3rd party. It's nearly impossible to find an alternative seamstress who could provide alterations in 2 months so at that point, you have no time to shop your dress around for alterations. Luckily, I was able to work with a separate tailor since at that point, there was no way I would have felt comfortable going through LBR. Overall, it was a very poor experience which left me feeling down about my wedding dress which is supposed to be a terrific experience. I will not be making any future purchases through LBR at any of their 3 locations and would not recommend purchasing your dress through them either. read more

This was the first place I went to, and said yes to the third dress I tried on!! I came in with an idea of what I wanted, and a designer that I vibed with, but with no idea about fit/ how things would actually look on me. Greek Maria (vs. Italian Maria lol) was my stylist and she NAILED my personality, which is not easy to do! I truly thought I was going to be impossible to please, because I wanted a classic/elegant dress, but somehow wanted to add colors/glitter/craziness to my look. Exhaustive searches online showed either one or the other. Maria picked up on my energy as soon as I walked in the door and pulled together a beautiful Eva Lendel elegant dress (Margo dress without the sleeves) THEN ADDED A GLITTER CAPE (Daniel cape only, not the dress). Horrible customer service. Very pushy when I went in to look at gowns, I felt like I was at a used car dealership. She then forced me to put down a deposit for the first dress I tried on saying that I wouldn't find anything better. I then went to many other places and they were all wonderful in comparison. I found many other dresses I liked much more for a better price. The deposit was supposed to be converted into a store credit. They told me I'd need to make an appointment to come in and use it which was fine. I made an appointment but got a text from them shortly beforehand saying she was sick and could not be there. I asked about rescheduling with no response after following up several times. Finally I went back and made a new appointment online and it said it was confirmed. I took a few hours off of work to make that time but no one was there and no one responded to my calls. Do not waste your time! There are so many other awesome bridal shops in Chicago! read more

I had a fabulous experience at LBR and would highly recommend it! This was the 2nd boutique that I went to in my dress shopping journey and this was where I ended up making a purchase! Keturah was very knowledgeable, nice, & helpful! I tried on about 4-5 dresses, gave my feedback, and Keturah listened to what I said and went back to the rack to find other options. One of her picks was the one I ended up purchasing! It just happened to be an "off the rack" dress, so it was a double bonus that it was on sale! The "off the rack" dresses at this store were all in great condition! Sometimes the "bargain" dresses at bridal boutiques tend to be in pretty rough shape, but I was super excited to find a dress that worked for me that happened to be on sale and was in great condition. There was one very minor rip in the side seam that will be easily fixed in alterations, but otherwise the dress is in fabulous condition. I also really like that they do the alterations right in house, so it will be convenient to go back and forth to the same location and not have to worry about finding a different person to take care of alterations. read more

Luxe Bridal came up on my search for affordable dresses in the city. Scheduling was nice and easy. When I showed up, there was a miscommunication with the lady and she didn't think I was the bride, so I ended up waiting around long after my appointment, in which wasn't a big deal, as she was apologetic once we both realized what happened. However, while she did show me different dresses and talked to me, I didn't feel like she was enthusiastic or genuine at all - like she was just going through the motions. All my other experiences were much more personable. I did like their general selection of dresses and they did have some dresses on the lower price range, so I wouldn't write them off, but I probably just had a one off experience, since all the other reviews are so positive. read more

I had gone to 2 other bridal shops in the Chicago area and pretty much knew what style of dress I wanted, but didn't think I have found "the one" yet. I didn't fully intend on purchasing a dress at Luxe Bridal Rack, but there it was! Pros: - Was able to make an appointment without getting on the phone, which was nice because who has 10 minutes to spend comparing schedules with someone at the other end of the line! - I had a morning appointment and it started on time as soon as I walked in. I had the whole store to myself, so my family felt really comfortable. - The dresses were beautifully arranged in styles, and there was the "off the rack" section and the "reorder" section. Prices were clearly marked and I felt free to browse. My salesperson (Anesha) very nicely talked my mom away from a SUPER sparkly dress that wasn't at all my taste, which was great. - The price points were great. I had a loose budget of $3K and between the two sections, I found a lot of beautiful dresses under that. The other thing about their off the rack section is that the dresses are in MUCH better shape than a lot of the sample dresses I've seen, so I would have been happy to purchase one of them had that been the one I chose. There was a Vera Wang dress that was 50% off and was still snowy white - Anesha was fantastic. She really made feel comfortable, listened to all of my preferences, and suggested the right dresses. After I picked my dress, she made sure that I loved it and I wasn't giving in to what my family wanted. She also knew all about the material of each dress, and treated each one as if they were all the same price. Cons: - I guess the only one here is that I wish there had been more dresses in my preferred style? But you can't have everything (and I tried on about 8 dresses), so there you go! read more

My daughter had an appointment with them late afternoon. The day prior she purchased a wedding dress elsewhere. Given their $50 cancellation fee, she called them the morning of the appointment and explained the situation. She told them that she would still keep the appointment but felt bad to waste their time. The receptionist instead of answering the question automatically cancelled the appointment. My daughter said no she didn't want to cancel if there was going to be a charge. She told her she couldn't issue a credit and call or email the corporate office and they would issue a refund. Well that hasn't happened! There are so many wonderful bridal salons to work with in Chicago, please STAY AWAY! read more

What a total nightmare the last months leading up to my daughters wedding...all because of Luxe Bridal Rack. We ordered my daughters wedding dress 11/30/2019 while in Chicago visiting my other daughter. The day of the appointment all went well. They promised me the dress in 4-6 months. No problem, as my daughters wedding was 6/26/2020. Starting mid April, I called Luxe just wanting to know how the dress was coming along and if there would be any delays due to Covid. They assured me there would be none as Pronovias (the designer) was very good about shipping on time. The said it would be shipped by May 21 at the latest. Even though this was cutting it close, Maria was very convincing the dress would be here in plenty of time. On 5/29 the dress had still not arrived and she said to give it a few more days. She blamed the late arrival on Covid, Protest and George Floyd death. We had a plan that if the dress had not arrived by Monday 6/1 that she would send the sample dress. That was the last time I heard from Maria despite leaving numerous phone calls, text and emails for the next 10 days. She never communicated with me, NEVER!!! Finally I had to make a plan so that my daughter would have a dress. I called shops here in Minneapolis and found the dress as a sample dress in 3 stores. ALL of them were so nice and willing to help. We bought the sample dress from Bride of France in Edina. I cant say enough wonderful things about them!!! They also shared that NONE of their Pronovias dresses were delayed because of Covid. All their orders had arrived in 4 months. Clearly Maria has been lying to me about the order, dress etc. The lack of communication is beyond frustrating. To this day, I still have not heard from Maria. Crazy!!! My daughter had a dress 3 days before her wedding, looked beautiful and was able to have an amazing wedding despite all the stress that Maria caused our family. She has not refunded me for the dress I ordered and never got and still has not communicate with me. Thank heavens for Chase Sapphire who reimbursed me for merchandise I never got. Luxe bridal was my third place to try on wedding dresses, and after the first two places I was completley lost and a bit frustrated. But my great experience at Luxe Bridal really flipped that around! First off, my schedule is a little chaotic, so my Mom made the appointment the day before and luckily they were available for an appointment. I like that the space is quaint, because it's not as overwhelming and I found it easier to search for what I liked. The selection is AMAZING! So many beautiful pieces, it's hard to pick just one! Everything I tried on was very stunning, but wasn't me. But as soon as I tried on this one dress, it totally changed me. Thanks to Keturah, focusing on what was important to me, we found the one! Honestly can't say enough good things about my experience with LBR! I met with Keturah on a Wednesday afternoon and was the only person in the shop during my appointment. Keturah emailed me a few days before and gave me the rundown of what to expect and asked me to send her a few photos of what I like or share my Pinterest page. When I got there, she had some dresses picked out for me to try and literally the first one I tried on was PERFECT and just like the photos I shared--I was amazed. Keturah helped me try on a few others, even after it was decided the first one couldn't be beat :) . I thought about the dress for about a week and then was pleased to be able to go back and try it on one more time and then said YES to the dress! LBR gives you the whole bridal experience--they help you into and out of the dresses and pick everything out for you. They really make you feel special through the whole process. Luxe Bridal was my third store when searching for my dress. I was able to find a dress I loved, and the customer service when choosing a dress was top notch. However, I was told that I could have the front of the bodice lined by the designer, and that turned out not to be the case. When I received the dress, the additional fabric for the bodice lining was included separately in the bag and I was told that I would have to book a separate alterations appointment to have it added. Not only that, but that their alterations costs started at $650. I have tried the dress on and it does not need much other than the bodice lining and maybe one shoulder adjusted. I find it hard to believe those adjustments could come out to even close to the starting alterations price. Good store for finding a dress, but find another place for smaller alterations. read more

I said yes to the dress here! For brides who want a beautiful gown without breaking the bank, this is the perfect place. I had my appointment with Mary Claire. My budget was at the (very) low end of what this salon offers, and the associate still helped me to find beautiful options within my budget. She even pulled a couple dresses that were way below my budget. No pressure at all to push the budget! I had plenty of time to try everything and spend time in the gowns, and even facetime my out of town mom and friends. The ONLY reason I give 4 stars instead of 5, is because high end brides should know that you don't get a private room and you aren't offered drinks upon arrival. My experience with Luxe has been a roller coaster. Nice Inventory Terrible Support & Service for a Bride. In October 2019 I was in search of my dress, and knew I wanted to go into Luxe. It was small and local. During my session everything went off with out a hitch, every dress was beautiful and a designer had just brought in his new line and I found the dress! Beautiful geometric print, just enough train, but the color was a cream on white, the designer and I both agreed white on white would make this dress pop! So I put down the deposit and was reassured that I would get my dress in March 2020 with ample amount of time to alter and have it ready prior to leaving for my destination wedding. Then covid hit. With a world pandemic I understood that there was going to be an impact on when my dress would come, so when March passed by I completely understood, but I did not hear anything from Luxe. Not a single word from the studio saying "I understand this is a crazy time but we haven't forgot about you". Again given the timing I figured all was well. April passed by still no word. Beginning of May I sent an email: Hello Maria, I would like to connect about the dress I ordered back in October. I understand this is a weird environment, but we are coming up on the 7 month mark and I would like to know the status and what the next steps would be with regards to my dress. I look forward to connecting with you. Two weeks later: No call, no email. I called twice left a voicemail, no call back. Third phone call. I finally connect with Maria. She says my dress did arrive in March, but it was the wrong color, so they sent it back to be fixed, the designer and that they should be getting my dress in white soon. Mid May: I call again, what is the update of the dress? "It's been shipped, should take time because of Covid" Will you update me? "of course" No update- First of June week: I call again "It's in customs, should be here next week. We will be able to get it adjusted for yourJuly 4th wedding date" Second Week of June I call again, no answer leave a voicemail. Third week of June: Sales associate leaves a voicemail would like to update you on your dress. June 25th: We have an update! your just was Just Shipped on Sunday, we should get it by the end of next week! I am getting married Next Saturday... do you understand what that means? She quickly calls me back and says she set an appointment for Monday June 28th and that I will have something to wear on my wedding day. So I go in yesterday. The owner is not there and she has still not reached out to me. The dress they have which is a sample would have to be completely deconstructed in order to make it white, and the sizing of the overall dress is not the same, I am not talking I put a few pounds on in covid, the entire top portion of the garment is different. The first thing that pops into my mind is that this is someone else's dress. there is way too much work that would need to be done in order to get my dress ready by Saturday. I ask them to show me other dresses, something that wont need an entire overhall. I find something that works. They offer to sell me the dress at cost vs suggested retail (400 dollar difference to my original) the dress tag lists the at cost price, which usually indicates this is what the retailer is selling it for, not making an exception which is what the sales associate states. The sales associate tells me she has to forfeit her commission! Considering this individual has been the only person to help me in the last 4 months this does not make sense. Considering my date is 4 days a way I have no choice but to get some type of alteration done in there studio. They want to charge me 450 instead of the typical 600 dollars. again I have one chance to get this right and I picked a dress that would require very minimal adjustment, just a shortening and a bustle. Clearly I was lied to multiple times by the studio owner on when my dress was shipped. And now I am scrambling to get a new dress 4 days prior to my date because of lack of communication and multiple errors made by the retailer. This has been an actual nightmare on top of everything else in the world. read more

I recently visited Luxe Bridal Rack and found my wedding dress! I worked with Antonella. She was calm and made the experience very comfortable and easy. The store has a great selection of dresses with many options for different price points. They also have a selection of sample dresses that you can buy directly off the rack. However, the majority of the dresses need to be ordered. I am so happy I visited this store. They had a beautiful veil to go with my dress and were very friendly. The boutique in general was very friendly and supportive. Not pushy. They genuinely seemed excited to see me find my dress. I had some initial issues selecting my dress here, but the shop owner personally contacted me and is trying to do what she can to help me with some of those issues. It's a newly opened shop, so I think there are some growing pains but they do have some lovely dresses and are working hard to hold themselves to a high standard. I had such a great experience at LBR, specifically, with Roberta! This was my second boutique, and after having a not-so-optimal experience at my first stop, Roberta completely turned my day around. She helped me find numerous dresses within my budget, allowed me to re-try dresses (many times), and was so patient and positive throughout the appointment. I hadn't realized until after the appointment, but we actually stayed over an hour past our allotted appointment time. I ended up making my purchase here from an "off-the-rack" selection. I had a wonderful experience here. It was the 4th store and ultimately I did find my dress here. My consultant, Antonia, was delightful. I never felt rushed or pressured during the appointment. This review is long overdue.... I started looking for my wedding dress in August 2017, and Luxe was the first store on my list. When we arrived, we were able to find approximately six dresses that were all around my budget, and I loved the majority of them. Lo and behold, the very first dress was the dress that I ended up buying and it became my wedding dress. Maria was so honest and upfront about what styles looked good, and I never felt as though I was talking to a salesperson. Furthermore, I had some major issues with my bank card and all of the staff were so patient and understanding with me throughout the few hours it took for me to figure out my bank information. I can never thank them enough for their patience. Maria even had a staff member meet me when the store was closed so I could pick up my dress. Run Away from Luxe Bridal Rack As Fast As You Can We purchased a Yaniv Persy gown from Maria at Luxe Bridal Rack in December of 2019. Our experience at Luxe was lovely until we had made the purchasing decision. Once we made the decision to purchase the gown, Maria was rushing us out the door and would not answer any of our questions. The entire attitude changed once we made the decision. I called her the following Monday and reintroduced myself as the mother of the bride. She could not have been more unpleasant and it was as if I was bothering her. I had only called to make sure that she had the details for the changes we had made to the gown because they were not properly documented on the contract. Once we reviewed that, she assured me everything would be fine. The gown arrived about 8 months later. There were 3 different laces on the gown and the change that we had made to the bottom (and paid $1100 extra for) incorporated a completely different lace and not the lace we had asked for. Additionally, we had asked that the hem be finished in scalloped lace. It was not. When I called her, she said oh, ok, I can just send you some lace. She sent me yet a 3rd lace, none of which matched the gown and told me we could add it after we had the hem altered. My daughter is thin and fit and has actually lost weight since she was measured. The gown was too tight in the hips and has required substantial alterations. Additionally, the sleeves in the forearm were so tight that we had to have new sleeves made for the gown. The underwire in the bodice hit her across her nipples and had to be completely repositioned. We had called months ago and asked Maria to price the matching veil for us. After multiple attempts to get a response, I finally was able to reach her. She said, "I thought I told your daughter what the price of the veil was." She had not spoken with nor made any attempt to reach my daughter. I honestly don't know how she stays in business. Because of her rudeness, we chose not to have the gown altered by them. Fortunately, we have a wonderful bridal alterations business in Atlanta called TK Bridal. They are magicians and had altered my other daughter's wedding gown. We feel very fortunate that they could remedy this unfortunate situation and I am sure that at the end of the day, the bride will be beautiful. I highly recommend that you do NOT shop with Luxe Bridal Rack and as lovely at Yaniv Persy's designs are, his grading is suspect. Having owned a clothing company in the past, I understand fit and grading, lace and fabrics, and there were so many mistakes with this gown. The snaps that held the sleeves on were too small and would not snap along with many other issues. My daughter wears a size 4 off the rack easily, she is not hard to fit and this was a very trying and unfortunate experience for such a lovely, patient and beautiful bride. Lastly, Maria charged my American Express twice for the gown. It took several weeks to rectify the double billing. Her response to me was, "Oh, can you research that and send me the proof." No apology from Maria but I finally did get the credit back on my card. read more

I am so torn about writing a review about Luxe Bridal Rack. While the salon is beautiful, and the dress selections are completely my style, I wasn't blown away by the customer service. I definitely found the dress of my dreams here and purchased it on my first visit to the salon. The part I wasn't thrilled about were the alterations, which I don't feel were done appropriately. Perhaps my advice would be to purchase your dress here if you fall in love with one, but to have alterations done elsewhere. I ended up having to come in for fittings more times than I expected, largely because every time I came in, the alterations that we had discussed during the last fitting appointment hadn't actually been altered yet. Much of the work seemed to be put off (and I didn't need major alterations done) until the last minute, and I didn't see much work done on the dress from appointment to appointment, which was the first red flag. When I expressed concerns with the length of my dress (afraid that I would trip), I was told that once the dress was steamed, due to the material, it would shorten. I trusted their advice, but on my wedding day part of the bottom of my dress tore within the first 10 minutes due to the length. Additionally, the bustle was supposed to be taken up several inches before final pickup (again, work that was put off several times), and I don't believe that was done. When I bustled my dress on my wedding day, it dragged as if it wasn't bustled at all. All of this made for a stressful wedding day and my fear of my dress being too long became a reality. After the wedding, I tried to discuss my feedback openly with the salon, however, they were not very open-minded about receiving feedback. This whole experience has been off-putting, and I can't genuinely recommend Luxe Bridal Rack to others due to this.
