As I had no other way to verify this, I took them at their word and accepted their explanation. For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

The true quality of a company is revealed when something goes wrong. And in this case it did and…read morethe results were bad. I hired the company to repair my washer. Diagnosis visit was great. Not so good after that. First repair appointment was cancelled during my scheduled appointment window because the part wasn't in yet. Second repair appointment, Mohamed showed up for the repair only to realize he had picked up the wrong part. The worst part was how he handled it. He said he had to drive back to Alexandria to get the right part. I had another contractor appointment at another property and told him my schedule was very challenging. He immediately became angry and literally started yelling at me. Said he was very busy too and this was messing up his whole schedule, exclaiming that it wasn't his fault. I was hoping to discuss our schedules to figure something out but he was losing it. I was trying to figure out what to do and he was yelling, "decide! decide!". Overwhelmed, I decided I would tell him go get it and come back and I'd try to figure out a solution in the meantime. After he left, I messaged the company and asked that they send another tech. They didn't have another tech. They refused to answer the phone and were not apologetic. Fortunately I was able to get my husband to come home from work and be there. At this point I was very upset and didn't ever want to see that man again. When Mohamed returned he fixed the dryer and apologized to my husband, but not to me, even though he was still texting me. Said he was really stressed. A little over a month later the part failed. It made me sick that we had to go back to the same company. They again said they didn't have another tech so again I had my husband be there for the appointment. I realized that likely there is only one Mohamed and the owner and tech are the same person. In spite of everything that had happened - the canceled appointment during the appointment time, showing up with the wrong part and yelling at me for it - he charged us $79 trip charge to replace the failed part. Said his labor warranty was 30 days. Here he had an opportunity to do something to compensate for his previous behavior and last minute cancellations, but he chose not to. I will never use this company again and do not recommend at all. So many good reviews but when things go wrong, beware.

Daniel was polite and responsive, and found the broken part, He gave me a price of $532.46 for the icemaker, and $100 to replace it. He requested a $300 deposit to order the part, which I paid by check. A few days later he came with the new part. But when he installed it, it didn't function properly. He said the part was faulty and he would have to get it replaced. I suspect that he broke the new part when he installed it. He said he would return in a couple of days with a replacement. He never returned. He didn't respond to text messages or voicemail. I suspected that he was ghosting me, so I asked a friend to call his number and he immediately answered. My friend then added me to the call, and Daniel tried to explain that he was in Canada and his phone wasn't working (although I was talking to him on his phone. He said he would get in touch with me when he returned from Canada. He never called. I considered submitting a small claims complaint, but in checking on the legal name of his company in Maryland, I find that his company as "forfeited". Now that I want to execute the dishwasher removal portion of my contract they are giving me the run around and saying they will not come to pick up my old dishwasher. I am in the process of selling a home and now have a dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen. Be careful with this business. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and will also be filing a police report to take them to small claims court.

Several days before the appointment they called to say the "service" would have to be rescheduled because "something came up" After some discussion, an appointment was scheduled for one day later in the "early morning". The evening before the appointment, at 6:15pm, they called to "remind" me about the appointment and said the Technician would be at my residence between 1:00pm-5:00pm. When I reminded the lady that THEY cancelled the first appointment and THEY agreed to the next day "early morning" appointment, her response was "well, he can't be there until 1:00pm-5:00pm". There was a medical reason I needed an early morning appointment, but apparently with Mr. Appliance it's all about what THEY want to do (even if you're paying).

At the same time it was the fact that they didn't give me a lot of hassle and they weren't trying to waste my time or money either.
