What a great group! We had called another group first, but they only care about selling service plans, and things you don't need 3-4 days later! With a pregnant wife, this was not acceptable, so I checked around, including Yelp, and found LCS. I contacted Travis, and he gave me the typical cost of the repair, which was a range that at the top level was less than half of what we had been quoted from the other company. And, they could come out right away. The tech was very polite, and efficient despite some tough weather. Mark took care of me today. The furnace went out on Easter weekend, so I waited until Monday to have some one come look at it. I called at 0800, and my 0845 Mark was here to get the house heated again. He was friendly, explained the problem and the resolution. We had a maintenance contract to maintain our heating/cooling. Spring of 2016 (it was late May or early June) they came and serviced the AC. Ended up with over a $300 bill as they replaced a couple of capacitors. Heat of August 2016 hits and the AC unit was dead. Wasn't expecting that. I just felt like an update was needed just to say reiterate how fantastic LCS is! My a/c decided to quit working the very evening that I was having guests over! Fantastic service, where do I start. First they don't charge a consultation fee. I paid 2 other companies to come out and not figure out the issue with my heating. My unit is old and I know I needed another one, their pricing was $2000 less than the other 2 companies. They have 2 hour windows of service times, instead of the 4 hours others companies have. The technicians and consultant were very knowledgeable, nice, trustworthy, and respectful. They replaced my entire unit. The job I was told would take 4-5 hours took 2.5. They came in and got to work while being friendly. After they finished they wiped everything they touched inside of my home down with cleaning wipes. COVID safety for the customer and themselves. The unit is currently running beautifully. Before service, they text me a reminder and then when the technician was on the way they texted again with a bio of him and his picture. Another A+ for safety. The added protection of having the picture of who they were sending was wonderful. Lastly, they figured the problem that I was having was not with my blower, but a simple fix of using distilled water in my house humidifier instead of tap water. It was clogging my air filter. Everyone else told me it was my blower and it needed replaced. The fact that they were honest and not out for the buck, increased my trust level. Thank you LCS read more

LCS came to save the day! Our Furnace broke right in the first snow of the season when the temperature dropped like crazy, needless to say we were all freezing inside the house! We called 2 companies before calling LSC, the first one said all we needed was a cleaning, so they went ahead and charged me for a very expensive cleaning I must say, and nothing... the furnace would still shut off after 5 minutes running. So then, their technician suggested that "maybe" the problem was the control board, obviously they wanted to charge us a lot more $$$ to replace it, but their "maybe" totally threw me off! Frustrated and still cold I called the second company, they came over as soon as they could and worked hard, First they thought it was the thermostat, but 4 days later, several new parts replaced & money spent, still NO heath and No clue of what the problem was! My husband and I decided it was time to call a third company if he had too, so I started the search on line and read every. Single. review. from every company in town! If I only had the clarity to do that before I even called the First one... I'd have saved a lot of money and avoid so much cold and stress. Well I guess third time is a charm, after reading all the great reviews I knew there was no way to go wrong with a company with so much experience... and we were so right! Unfortunately they couldn't get someone at my house in the same day, busy time of the year and we understood, but they still called several times to check on us and let us know that in case of any opening they would try to get someone with us ASAP, and they did, but my husband and I were at work an unable to leave since we had taken already so many time off for the other companies. When Mark came over for our appointment next day, he figured out the problem in less than 10 minutes, he was extremely professional, explained us the problem and gave us the estimate which was a lot less than all the money we had already spent between the last 2 companies! It was such a relief since the second company said we would probably have to replace the entire furnace! He didn't have the part to replace it right away but he managed to drive cross town to get the part and in between a very busy schedule come back in the same day to replace it! He was so confident and we could tell he really knew what He was doing, unlike the competition. He fixed the furnace so fast and the heat was back on that day, we couldn't be any happier, we also learned our lesson, at least now we know who to call and we have a company we can trust! This was my second time using LCS Heating & Cooling. I originally decided to use them a few years back when my heat when out in my house. Unfortunately I did not know anyone in the area so I researched numerous local HVAC Companies and was constantly impressed with the positive reviews of LCS. I am sure glad I went with them. The first time around I had a very small fix and they were able to get the job done quickly and efficiently! A few weeks ago my entire heating and cooling unit went out. I had been referred by a friend to another local HVAC company so I decided to give them a try as they had raving reviews. Long story short, the other company came out and was not able to work on my house due to the height of my roof. The owner did not feel the job was worth his time and risk involved. I was disappointed to say the least. I called LCS and was treated like family. They came out instantly and assessed my situation and gave me 4 viable options. I worked with the owner and a few of his employees. Everyone at LCS is top notch. I had 2 other HVAC companies quote the job before going with LCS and neither of them could touch the price. The installation and time they spent doing the job right was unbelievable. I would highly recommend using LCS to any friend or family member. Going on a friend's recommendation, we called LCS earlier this summer when our our air conditioner wasn't working. I was dreading the visit because we just bought our home and inherited a furnace and air conditioner that are over 10 years old. Previous visits for furnace inspections from two big-name Indianapolis heating and cooling companies left me feeling swindled and not very trusting. Once Travis from LCS arrived at the house, though, I knew I would have nothing to worry about. He's a very friendly and straightforward guy, who would rather fix your HVAC problem and keep you as a longterm customer than persuade you spend a few thousand more dollars on a new heating or cooling apparatus. Travis inspected the whole HVAC system carefully and found that the problem lie in a bad wiring job on thermostat done by the original installer. He fixed this and we had cool air again in our house. On top of that, I was only charged the standard $79.95 housecall rate, when I thought I would be out a couple thousand dollars in the end. LCS did us a good service, and they will be our heating and cooling contractor from now on. I should start off by saying how polite and friendly everyone was that I spoke with. From the young lady I spoke to with their after hours answering service to the on-call guy as well as the technician that came out to our house, they were all very nice and very helpful. That being said, I am not pleased at all with the actual service. I was told by the technician that one of the parts he needed to fix our furnace would not be available until the following Monday (this was on a Thursday). He also quoted us a price of nearly $750. Not wanting to go four days without heat, I did some research of my own and found both parts for under $200 and fixed the furnace myself. I also found that one of the parts that the technician insisted on replacing did not actually need to be replaced. I am not sure what kind of mark-up percentage this company uses but the $500+ extra they wanted to charge me was kind of ridiculous. it was clearly an attempt to take advantage of an unsuspecting customer, which is very bad practice. read more
