This place is awesome! My car had overheating issues and they were the only shop in the area willing and able to take me in right away. Even on a holiday weekend! Every single person was friendly, knowledgable, and efficient. Dropped my car off, they checked it out and called me with a quote within the hour before any repairs were started. They asked me if I wanted to come check out the problems and they would show me before they worked on it. I told them no, I trusted their word. They did caution me that they would try their best to find the parts and get my car done asap but couldn't promise anything since it was already late in the day. I worried thinking it would take at least another day minimum and I had to drive to a wedding a couple hours away the next morning. They must've worked some magic because they called me a few hours later and said my car was done. Once I came back to pick it up, I was surprised that the owner, Carlos, had taken a video of the problems to show me, also walked me through what they worked on, and the end result. Pretty darn impressive! Guzman's definitely has my business for everything car related now and I highly recommend them! They provide honest, fast, and friendly service. Cant even gove 0 star. I couldn't believe that guzmens would be sneaky and unprofessional to hit one of my cars and not inform me when it happened I had to find out when I revived my car. I had brought two vehicles in. My 5.0 and my miata. Work with the miata was quick but with the 5.0 I never received any updates until I physically went over to see what was up (a week later). He told me he tried calling. Never got a call and told me no one wanted to work on my vehicle. Which I understood because it was a rebuild but call me and let me know. Don't hold on to my car when you don't need it there. I come home to find that my back right bummer was hit with what looks like their wall color on the outside. Very upset. read more

We've had everything from brakes to 90k mile tune-ups done here. I used to be a dealer only kind of girl, but dealer pricing isn't pretty these days. These guys are amazing! They were able to fix my brake system without a problem. Their shop is a bit hard to find but its definitely worth looking for. Carlos and his team were able to give me a great deal on my repairs and also came with a 6 month warranty. Took my car in after a freeway cone flew up and attacked the undercarriage of my 2013 Honda Pilot. It was making weird grinding noises. We Had it towed there and left it after hours on a Monday night with no appt. It was done the next day before 12:00. Price was right too!! Got something fixed and after they took my money they told me that the engines head gasket might be blown like you couldnt have told me that before i got it fixed so i didnt have to waste all that time effort and money. I came in with an idle issue, they fixed it and have the car running better than I've ever seen it AND checked out the work I had done by a previous shop AND diagnosed the plethora of other issues I've been having with my car AND topped off the many low fluid levels I had. Not only that, but they have a shuttle service which I didn't have to use and they honor all of the manufacturer warranties. My 4x4 GMC truck needed a service and I called around some shops and then after reading some reviews I contacted Guzman's auto repair and I'm glad I did. I called, spoke to Ruby who was polite and eager to help and I told her my situation with my truck and she broke down the recommendations. I didn't realize how much my truck needed a service since it ran good. My truck was over all the manufacture recommendations, but not anymore. When I went to pick up my truck, the mechanic and owner Carlos showed me the old parts and explained what he did and answered my questions. As we talked, it felt like we were always friends. That's how comfortable he made me feel. To many shops just give you the paperwork and say thanks without explaining what they did and what they recommend in the future for your vehicle, but not here and I really appreciated that. The shop is small and the garage looks messy, but in the end, the service you get is what counts and the repair was well within my budget. I've had such a great experience taking all my cars for major auto repairs to Guzman's. Their customer service is excellent and their fees are reasonable. They explain everything wrong with the car and give you options that you can afford to get you back on the road. The mechanics will show you the parts that are broken so you can see for yourself. I've had my timing belt done on my Honda, transmission, valve cover gaskets and AC done on my Mercedes, and my alternator done on my Dodge truck with absolutely no complaints. I thought I should try this place out for the first time when my truck was in need of repairs. At first making an appointment with them was easy and not exhausting. Other shops had to schedule me a week away just to get diagnosed, so they can fix the possible issue. So I took my truck in and they were willing to negotiate with what another shop found wrong with my truck. They were knowledgeable about the issue with my truck. They also replaced other parts that were not in the invoice. I thought how great that was. I also had been dealing with another issue with my truck so I decided to use them again to see if they could determine what it was. So I dropped my truck off to them on Monday, and didn't get my truck back until Friday, still with no diagnosis with what was wrong with it. Had to keep calling during the week just to check how my truck was doing. Still no diagnosis that week. Seem like every time I called it would ring then go to voicemail. I left 2 voicemails requesting for them to call back. It never happened. As soon as I got a hold of them I asked for a call back. Did not get one. Had to call back later that day. Just would of like to received status about the issue with my truck that was being kept from me for a week. Don't know if I would go back to shop. Kind of 60-40 after what I just went through. read more

2 stars because the first time I went and got an oil change done they did a good job and I was in/out. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Today I went in to get my front brakes replaced. I called a few days earlier to set an appointment however I was told it was a first come first serve basis and that they are open at 9am. I showed a few mins before 9 and waited until it was 9am. The door was locked and I waited a few more mins and saw the receptionist in her van. I decided to walk over there and asked the guy who was standing by her van if they knew if the shop was opening soon. He told me that the shop would be closed today and will open back on Monday. Why would you not be open on a day that you have advertised? Also I tried calling a few times the day before during their business hours to confirm and no one picked up. I definitely would not be returning back to a business that is not reliable or consistent. read more
