This is a fantastic little corner bistro! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The people are awesome, the food is exceptional, the atmosphere is delightful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I discovered this hidden gem about 3 months ago and now I have to say I eat here often. I've had the fish tacos... a flavor filled explosion of mind blowing artistry. Every bite is going to make your tastebuds sing! I've had the black bean soup... delectable! My son loves the ham club on croissant. I have eaten the spicy chicken panini... a trip of sensational taste that will take you to flavor town! I've had the gyro a favorite of mine! I've had the fish sandwich, I've eaten the potato soup, I've had the pasta... there just has not been a blah dish yet! And let's not forget their perfect golden fries.... I'm telling you this place is OHHHH MY GODDIE TO GOSH DARN HOTTIE! They also serve wine and beer. Oh and I return often for their Carmel latte. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are outside tables or inside seating. The decor is soft and homey... inviting and relaxing, Well kept and just nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Look the food is exceptional, the environment is sweet, but to top it all off the people are wonderful! You are not just a customer here... you are family! They are thoughtful, kind, generous, and just flat out a delightful change of service in a world that seems to have lost knowing what service is. I have always felt like I dining with friends here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lunch is almost always packed... they are open for dinner as well on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but are completely closed on Sunday... I wish they would have a brunch on Sunday![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd come here after church every week if they did. I love this location! It is an oasis of greatness in a dessert of mediocrity... you need to try it out! I'm telling you make a plan to experience this wonderful spot... it is well worth your time!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a nice little cafe tucked away in a peaceful little housing community.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are a few tables outside and a few inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Regardless of where you sit the waitress don't forget you are there. I went there for lunch and was impressed on the variety. You get a menu and they also set up a chalkboard near your table full of other options. I got the turkey Brie and cranberry panini, which came out with the Brie oozing out of the sandwich, it was very good. My only complaint was that the sides, I had potato salad and my wife had the pasta salad were over sauced. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall it's a great place to go for a quiet lunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I love that you get a cute little creamer cup here!

What a delight! My husband and I used to live in Amli Milton Park and we loved coming here once a week for breakfast. The food and service have always been wonderful, so even though nearly a decade has passed since we ate here, we wanted to come back. I was nervous Covid might had put them out of business like so many small businesses last year, but there still up and running as good as ever! It was such a treat to bring our kids to Tuscany and have the sweet and attentive owner, Rebecca, wait on us. It wasn't busy when we went (10:30), so we got everything quickly. I love the atmosphere both inside and out, and it's just such a special little place. We plan to come back very often even though we no longer live in the immediate area. Definitely worth more than 5 stars!

Tuscany Cafe & Bistro is a special experience, from the quaint street corner it's located on to the delicious and fresh menu options. We'll come here to have a few glasses of wine with friends, have an appetizer, or enjoy a full meal - it's the perfect environment for any type of special occasion if you want something that feels authentic and cozy. They have a nice wine selection and great entree/appetizer options, like calamari, mussels, and fondue. We got the crab cakes and seafood pasta, and it was amazing. We got cheesecake for dessert and it was also delicious. This is a pricier option, but absolutely worth it! If you crave a European-style local getaway, this is the place to go. I want to come and try their lunch menu as well!

Great bistro hidden among the trees in Alpharetta. I love the tomato fondue and tremendous pastas and salads.

Happy Birthday! Such a hidden little gem of a restaurant!

Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.

The restaurant itself is beautiful with a warm, modern aesthetic and comfortable seating. They also offer outdoor seating, which would be especially nice in good weather. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium rare, and it was prepared perfectly--tender, flavorful, and exactly how a steak should be done. The sides were equally good. I had the fire-roasted broccolini and a salad with a house-made blue cheese dressing that was excellent. Service was fast and attentive, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. As someone who recently moved to the Southeast from the San Francisco Bay Area and spends a lot of time traveling for work, I'm always looking for memorable meals on the road. While the hotel itself was fairly typical for a business stay, the restaurant was easily the highlight. Insider tip: If you're staying at the Hilton Alpharetta, it's absolutely worth dining here rather than leaving the property.
