We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

Brody enjoyed his meal. He just appeared to still be hungry when it was done and a 16 year-old boy that normally has a high caloric intake, I can understand why he wanted a second meal after eating his first! The restaurant in the patio were quite crowded even though we had reservations. They still sat us within five minutes of arrival. Not that five minutes is a long time to wait, but it was still worth the wait as good as the food tasted. We both enjoyed our meals.

Some other servers seemed nice to other guests, so maybe we got one on a bad day but still we felt really upset and uncomfortable with how we were treated, there is no reason for anyone in the service industry to be so rude especially when we were being so polite. You also get blocked into your seat, and are very close to other guests which is fine but you have to call the waiter to pull your table back out to get up or to go to your seat- to which they begrudgingly do so. The beef bourguignon was tasty, but we did not like how both my and my friend's order were brought in the same pot. This resulted in us having maybe 3 tiny potatoes each and not near as much meat as we hoped for. We were expecting to each have our own dish. This was certainly not worth the 36€ per person price point (nearly $80 USD for the one pot of food), and we left the restaurant still hungry and extremely upset and disappointed by the service. Overall I would not return or recommend.

I wanted to taste authentic French Onion soup before leaving this beautiful country and we could not have selected a better place. The soup was, of course, the most delicious onion soup I have ever tasted and the duck breast and green beans which followed were equally amazing. My husband ordered the egg and duck confit appetizer which we were initially puzzled as to what to expect but it was DELISH! As was the duck Shepherd's Pie! This visit, we were seated at a tall table near the kitchen, which turned out to be one of the highlights of the evening. We had a front-row seat to the interaction between the owner and his staff. It was clear that he runs a tight ship, and watching the teamwork and attention to detail helped explain why the restaurant consistently delivers such an exceptional experience. For starters, we enjoyed the Crispy Warm Goat Cheese Salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. My entrée was the Grilled Veal Medallions, and they were outstanding. The veal was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. One of our favorite traditions when dining here is staying until near closing time. As the evening winds down, it's fascinating to watch the staff transform the restaurant for the next day.
