10/10 apres vibes. This is the place to be if you want to get after it post an epic mountain day. Bonus points that you can get a wildflour cookie 100 ft away. Come for the party, or the people watching - I promise you will not be disappointed. There is a cool bar upstairs if you can get a spot, but outdoor vibes on a sunny afternoon surpass all else. Bring the vipers, stay for the brewskis. See ya at The Chammy.

Apres ski at it's best-Le Chamois is where we posted up after each day on the mountain. Good beer selection, friendly service, great pizza and an outstanding patio vibe never disappointed. I had visions of sun filled afternoons on this patio as we returned to Palisades this trip. Epic spring conditions made for quite the scene. Everyone we met was friendly and we got excellent tips from some locals that shared their secrets. This is such a fun place. Shredding this ridiculous mountain and drinking beers in the afternoon sun while the tram and funitel pass overhead. We joked and reminicsed about our wedding day spent at the Lodge next door. My wife was still learning back then and took a bad slam. Now she wanted one more run from the top of the mountain, before pints at Le Chamois. I'm a pretty good teacher lol.

If you want to cap off an epic ski day, this is the place to come for the perfect apres ski vibe! Tucked away from the rest of the village, Le Chamois has it all. Indoor restaurant with tables, upstairs bar lined with windows to take in the view, an outdoor bar area with a fire pit in the shadow of surrounding mountains, and a dog friendly area where dogs are frequently seen running around off leash! This time we were upstairs in the bar area which of course is ski-themed. The old ski memorabilia and photos lining the walls give you all the old time ski vibes you'd want in a place like this. The upstairs was very busy but we were impressed with how quickly our beers and food came out! The lady working the bar was the same one who served us food, she was super efficient and could do it all. Nothing tastes better than some fries, pizza, and beer after a hard day of skiing. We got a large pizza, small pizza, and two orders of fries which was the perfect amount for 4 people. Prices are decent for being in a ski village. The food was great quality with an even better atmosphere, what else can you ask for?

The best place to get a beer after a day on the hill (or at work)- Good pizza and sandos. Try the meatball or the ham and turkey melt.

In an era of ski villages filled with swank, overly polished, expensive places, the Chammy stands out as a killer good old fashion ski bar.

Would order it again. Had the thai soup with shrimp- the shrimp were grilled perfectly ( they were juicy and tender , yet flavorful) the broth was a little on the thin flavorless side which is such an easy fix - just use more coconut milk. The noodles were a little hard to eat with the soup- didn't know whether to use a fork or spoon or both. The salmon with cheesy grits - the grits were delicious but the salmon seemed a-little mealy vs flaky . Maybe it wasn't very fresh but overall the dish was tasty and all the elements worked well together.

We snagged the last patio table around 4pm on a weekend. There is an amazing view of the mountain from this patio and it's a great people-watching spot while you hang out and relax. They don't have many waiters who come out to serve the patio, so the hostess told my husband he should go inside to order then the food/drinks would be brought out to us. I was expecting the food to take forever based on how busy they were but was pleasantly surprised that it was only a 15-20 minute wait! We got two appetizers, the baked brie and mediterranean platter. The baked brie was delicious but should have been served with apple slices, crackers, or something to dip with. The mediterranean platter came with all kinds of snacks including hummus, olives, feta, artichoke hearts, and pita. Prices were pretty standard for the village, more than you'd pay for the dish elsewhere but you're paying extra for the view and experience of enjoying it in a ski village. This was a better experience than I've had at other restaurants in this village, so I will definitely be coming back!

We spent five nights at the Everline, with no expectation of decent food in the area...a drive to Truckee maybe but knowing Tahoe is mostly miss and miss. But something about Six Peaks intrigued us, so menu unseen we showed up on our first night. Immediately we knew the old school late 20th Century decor wasn't the vibe this place was doing...this was fine dining at its best. As if writing, they do a $95 four course prix fixe which is actually five courses (four plus dessert). Chef Watkins keeps a through line for the courses but varies the palate; while many restaurants of this caliber start to taste the same by the third course, every dish was a unique palate of excellence.. Wins - the bar (new spins on classic cocktails), the attention to detail (my water glass never was below half full), the veg (so fresh - ZOMG the morel mushrooms!)...everything. Keep an eye out for this place...and go now if you want to lock in that prix fixe price because when word gets out on this place, folks will happily pay double for the same thing!

The food was excellent - the Wagyu tartare came with a strip of cooked steak that was a nice surprise addition. The endive salad was fresh and a good size portion. The tomahawk was large and the bone marrow crust was salty but flavorful. We really liked the nante carrots which were roasted and glazed to perfection. The sheepshead fish special was also good with a curry sauce twist. The scallop side with the tomahawk was good - 2 large scallops. Kids were done by the time we got the entrees after a long wait so we didn't even look at the dessert menu. Ambiance was really nice with picturesque views with large windows and live piano playing.

These were surprisingly a solid 8/10. It was well seasoned and the texture was crispy. I didn't love the dipping sauce too much, it had a pepper like taste which I didn't care for. I thought the wings stood out on its own and didn't need a sauce! Cesar salad with chicken: this was an easy 10/10. The salad was fresh, and I knew the salad was going to be delicious because they served it with anchovies. Delicious! The chicken reminded me of rotisserie style. Good stuff. Duck Breast: 8/10, I'm usually skeptical on trying duck since I'm a Peking duck lover at dim sum style restaurants, but this was pretty good. It was cooked perfectly, had a decent amount of meat to it. Came with a side of mash potatoes. Dessert: we ordered the pear pie with vanilla ice cream. This was gooood. An easy 10/10. The table was small, and we sat with dirty plates for 20+ minutes while we waited for dessert. Again, not a huge deal, but when charging $30+ for meals and $15+ for drinks, one expects a higher level of service. :: Honestly, I would have much rather just bussed my own table if that was an option. :: The fish tacos were eh: sadly they were very salty. The kids burger was fine. While the Hula pie looks amazing, and is huge, the fam did not find it good. The nut ice cream didn't work. My father in law loves and eats all the dessert and he just had one spoonful and that was that. Overall, it was passable if you're nearby and want that on-the-lake experience.
