I can't believe i didn't leave a review for one of my favorite casual dining spots in North Lake Tahoe. Small, but cozy and warm atmosphere and nice deck overlooking the Truckee River. The pizza, for me, was perfect. I prefer a thinner and crispy crust. The got the Combo and it delivered. After a long day rafting and cycling, once piece with a cold beverage hit the spot. Plenty of quality topping and just the right amount of seasonings. Friendly staff and very chill vibes. This is my go-to when I want a slice. Yeah, you can get a single slice for the win! read more

First, the positives--our chicken wings were crispy and perfectly cooked, and the location is great. Sitting outside by the river was peaceful and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn't measure up. We paid $50 for what felt like a disappointing meal: two jumbo pizza slices that tasted bland and not fresh, two beers, and 10 wings that were supposed to be buffalo-style--but definitely weren't. The wings had no recognizable buffalo flavor (or much flavor at all), which was surprising given the $16.75 price tag. The pizza was the standout: near perfect with a great crust, tasty sauce, plenty of cheese, and generous toppings. The tacos were also solid and enjoyable, holding their own alongside the pizza. The chicken quesadilla, however, was just okay; it had a ton of chicken but not much cheese, and there was way too much sour cream piled on top, which made it super soggy instead of crispy and melty. This spot is a Tahoe City my absolute fave to dine al fresco right next to the Truckee River. On a sunny day (albeit it did change towards the end of the day to cloudy) it makes me appreciate charming spots like this in the Tahoe-Truckee area. Their menu is pretty diverse and it was interesting to hear all the different orders but I always opt for the pizza. It is fun to see the kitchen humming away from the register. On this day, the memorable LORENZO was at the register and I was star struck by his fun and eccentric look. At any rate, me and my nephew wolfed down our slices and it gave us the fuel for our North Tahoe adventure. My visit at Front Street Station will go down as my best pizza experience I have had. I expected to spend a hefty amount but I was happily surprised for it to only be $6 a slice. The service, along with the natural scenery definitely satisfied my every want as a customer. Both slices I received were fresh and absolutely delicious. Best pizza I've ever had. Hands down. Love the cozy cabin vibe and when I walked in the menu was a little confusing at first, but the giant slice options blew my socks off! Pizza was fast to come out, not too hard and not too soft, tied well with their ranch I loved it. Service was fast and efficient! Let me start off by saying, the location of this spot is amazing! The view of the lake is gorgeous! However, the pizza is pretty hit or miss. The first time I visited front street station I ordered a whole Steamer pizza. I remember it tasting really good! It was fresh and the jalapeños tasted really good with the pepperoni and onions. So I decided to visit again since I was in town. I ordered a slice of the steamer and it took 25 minutes to come out and there were not a lot of people in the restaurant. The service was just ok, not very attentive. The slice itself was dry, bland, and nothing like the whole pizza pie that I had purchased just a few weeks earlier. I was pretty disappointed. Maybe the whole pies are the only way to go here, I would personally steer clear of the slices. read more

Was looking for something I could take back to my hotel in a snowstorm. Reviews looked good. The pizza was had a good flavor (I think my home made is a bit better) and they had an small but good selection of canned beer to go. Staff was friendly, with a long-haired surfer vibe. Unfortunately, when I got back to my room to eat, they was a long hair under the pepperoni. This is such a cute place. One might say it's not a looker, but to each their own. This place was a mere 24 minute walk from the Grandlibakken, there's a great trail to getting there. We ordered a large pizza with half Hawaiian and other half, pepperoni, mushrooms and bell peppers. The pizza did take a bit of time but it was really yummie. The only thing I would recommend is trying to "crisp" up the thin crust a little more. Overall the flavour is pretty good. They have a variety of drinks to offer including non-alcoholic beer. He is so lazy that he made me do all the research AND make the call. I ordered 2 pizzas and 2 salads and since we were then informed they don't deliver, I happily told my brother he would have to make the drive. For me, the pizza was okay. My 11-year old son said it reminded him of New York pizza. That comment was impressive and then depressing because he has actually eaten pizza in NY on a trip with his dad and I have never been there because I am a poor hermit. But I digress... The salad was also just okay. It was the higher-priced Greek salad. Lettuce, a few slices of pale tomato, black olives, feta, NO dressing and a crap ton of raw white onions. I for sure want to come here when the weather is nicer so I can check out the river stream they have in the back to let your dogs loose and let them have some fun in the water! Super easy to call I'm an order on a Thursday night. The pizza was ready in less than 30 minutes and they repeated my order to me flawlessly at least 3 times. The staff was helpful and friendly when I arrived and the business itself was very clean and organized with a rustic charm and ample parking. The shop is small so if you blink, you might miss it, so if you're looking for it, keep your eyes pealed! The food itself was great. The salad was fresh and their homemade ranch was the perfect consistency and balance of flavors. Their pizzas are super thin crispy crusts with a great ratio of flavorful toppings. We got the Thai chicken pizza, a classic supreme, and a white pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. The crust held up to the toppings and wasn't soggy. It had a great wood fired char on it and I loved the balance of toppings. The Thai chicken was my favorite although I do wish it had more fresh veggies on it. The wings were cooked and sauced perfectly. I suggest getting the BBQ sauce with a side of Buffalo for dipping! Family ordered 2 14" pizzas and a salad for dinner, $70, which I find is the avg price these days, but due how thin and sparse the toppings were I felt like I wasn't full after half a pie.
