Wow! The lamb chops, bread, eggplant, tea and jerk chicken was all really good. We were seated at the bar on a Sunday night after the music concert. Everyone was friendly and the lake views were amazing. Definitely come and try the local cider from Portland and any specials.

Worth going for the view! Gorgeous to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful lunch next to the lake. They have some shade on the patio as well so it doesn't get too toasty on super sunny days. Service is decent but not over the top friendly. Food was ok - you won't find real inventive items on the menu but for classic staples it's a good fit. Caesar salad was overly dressed, and hoagie was tricky to eat as it was plated.

My friends and I came a bit after sunset on a weekday and were seated indoors immediately. Service was friendly and quick! Yinzer by B.C. Pizza: This was super flavorful and packed with toppings, with the salami, pepperoncini, and herb vinaigrette standing out in the dish. The large size is huge; we were able to finish our other dishes but only a bit more than half of the pizza for our group of three. Wedge Salad: The presentation was unique, and the salad was refreshing. We loved the bacon and oven-roasted tomatoes. Pepper-Crusted Duck Breast: We appreciated the quality of the duck breast, which was paired well with the sauce and cherries, hazelnut, and goat cheese. The pepper taste was slightly too strong for our taste. The price was on the higher end, but solid food and a good dining experience.

Went to Za's after snow tubing. Perfect stop! Nice place with a great view of the lake that felt so relaxing. We ordered Pizza, Calamari, and fries, and everything was great. Service was good too. We walked into the pier after. Overall, solid food and chill vibes post-adventure.

A quaint pizzeria and sandwich restaurant right on the lake. We got the brussel sprout appetizer (fabulous) and all the food our table was delicious. The photo is of the (amazing) butternut squash pizza. It easily rivals some of the best pizzerias I've been to. The service was very quick and consistent throughout.

    The view

The view, the food, the service were all top notch! Tianna was well versed on the menu with great suggestions. Her smile just complimented the food and the ambiance! We had the calamari- best we have ever had. The tartar sauce that accompanies it is like no other. They make it in house. I wish they bottled and sold it! We split the burger and it too did not disappoint. Don't miss this opportunity!!!

My husband decided to drive up to the Lake to have lunch at my favorite waterfront lake view. We got there around noon, and it was already packed on the patio so the very nice hostess said "grab a drink and I'll send you a text when we're ready for you about 15mins". We grabbed a drink and met a very nice bartender named Sebastian, but with a B. He made very nice screwdrivers to my liking. We got seated by the railing and ordered the shrimp bacon and jalapeño poppers with cheese whiz on top called Pats Poppers $18. This is the second time we had them and they are so good. You get a 5 count so if there are two people you'll need to split it. I wish restaurants made appetizers an even count. Today, we decided to try the pizza YINZER BY B.C. mozzarella, salami, spicy capicola ham, herb vinaigrette, roma tomatoes, chopped romaine, red onions, pepperoncinis $24 for10in or $29 for 16in. We got the 10inch and finished it which was the perfect size for two people. Our server was from Argentina, it was fun talking to him, he was very attentive and he was headed back to his home country next week, but he loved Lake Tahoe just as I do! Parking is limited so get there early and enjoy a fabulous meal and the gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe! The indoor seating by the window is nice too along with an upstairs venue for large parties. I did like that they added bar seating to the right of the door with tall tables and stools to enjoy the view too, but it wasn't open for lunch - only bar drinks.

    This lamb was amazing! 10/10

Service and ambience was great... food however was very disappointing. The lamb lollipops were amazing, we had to order a second order. The jalapeño poppers were so good also! The bread was very dense and dry. We ordered clam linguine, chicken Alfredo and the noodle soup, and they were all very bland. For that many entrees on the menu, I would've assumed they would've made these great. Very disappointing that a jar of Rao's sauce could be so much tastier than a restaurant, serving meals at an expensive price tag. They definitely should stick to their meats and grilled items! The server and hostess were all great and truly a beautiful view.

We came here for lunch on a weekday and sat outside on the deck. You cannot beat that view - so beautiful! We shared the Flatbread Chicken Sandwich which reminded me of a Greek wrap. They split our food including the fries at no extra cost which was very much appreciated! We will definitely be back next time we're in town.

One of the few waterfront restaurants in Tahoe. Great little bar outside. Inside is casual and slightly upscale. Prices are high as expected for Tahoe waterfront ($9 draft beer). The thin crust pizzas are the best deal and phenomenal. The large 16" at $29 is enough to feed 3 hungry adults, medium is enough for 2. A single entree is near the price of a large pizza. Place is extremely loud (wood floors and ceiling). You practically have to yell to be heard when it's busy so not a good romantic dining room.

The House Salad at Za's is so good!

We've been here once before for dinner, but this is the first time that we are here early enough to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Our Server was really nice and provided good service. My husband and I shared a House Salad and a Margherita Pizza. We ordered the large and it was too big. The Salad had Spring Mix with Cucumber, Tomato, Corn, Roasted Beets and egg. It was so fresh and we just loved the combination of ingredients. The Pizza was also really tasty, although it seemed to lose flavor as it cooled down. Overall though, we had a great experience.

What a fantastic experience we had here. Although the wait for a table was long (50 mins) walking around the area was beautiful. We were seated outside with a lake view - as the sun had set is was getting cool but the heater lamp made us all quite comfortable. Our server Laura (who was fantastic) told us it was unexpectedly busy- more so than the 4th of July. She managed very well and with a nice smile. We shared a large pizza (they are huge) which was scrumptious. The crust was thin and perfectly crisped (which I prefer). The bread bowl was a huge hit with all of us- especially the kids. My grandson loved his pesto pasta. Our total bill was quite reasonable.

Great food and good service. Food took a while to get out but when it did the food did not disappoint! Decent amount of seating inside and outside. Great view of the lake as well! We ordered the fish and chips, smoked salmon arugula salad, and maple glazed butter it squash pizza. All were good, albeit a bit oily for the fish and chips and pizza. The pizza was our favorite.

It's located in Tahoe City with amazing views and good food. That said it's busy during the season. Go early. Expect families with kids.

Can we eat inside or it is patio only?

We ate inside. There were a good number eating inside, although that could have changed since October. I would give them a call.

We started with the lobster small dish as an appetizer and our 7 year old devoured most of it. It was so delicious. They were incredibly accommodating for my gluten-free and dairy-free needs. I was impressed with how they had special menus for each of my diet restrictions - the items to avoid were crossed off (see pic) which made it super easy to follow. My black cod was AMAZING, cooked perfectly, just the right amount of complimenting flavors and ingredients, in addition to great broccoli. Lastly, the fact they had even one gluten-free/dairy-free dessert option was mind blowing. I was so pumped. It was a smooth and super flavorful coconut passion fruit house made sorbet. I was in heaven. This isn't your typical dining establishment and their food definitely showcases that. And the views do too, holy smokes. Talk about a wag to enjoy the beauty of Lake Tahoe! Our server, who was from Brazil, was so bubbly, friendly and made the experience more fun. She seemed to be taking care of almost the entire place and still made everyone feel seen. We ordered the lobster roll and the duck bánh mì, and both were good. My only note is that the lobster roll seemed to be mostly shrimp, so at $33 it felt a little overpriced. You are really paying for the view! One of our orders did take a while to come out, but our server was super apologetic and comped the dish, which we really appreciated. Overall, good food, warm service, and an unbeatable view.
