We had a party of eight but the restaurant configured a good table with a view of Lake Tahoe for us. The ambiance is so lovely and so appealing that anyone would enjoy it. This is my second time here. I came in around 11:30. Wanted to have some food and a beer. This place fit the bill. When I arrived it wasn't busy yet. I had beat the crowd. Not too long after I was seated by the window at the bar, tables started to fill. Even the bar. I was by myself, seated by the window. Perfect place to read my book as I enjoyed the meal. Worth going for the view! Gorgeous to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful lunch next to the lake. They have some shade on the patio as well so it doesn't get too toasty on super sunny days. My friends and I came a bit after sunset on a weekday and were seated indoors immediately. Service was friendly and quick! Yinzer by B.C. Pizza: This was super flavorful and packed with toppings, with the salami, pepperoncini, and herb vinaigrette standing out in the dish. The large size is huge; we were able to finish our other dishes but only a bit more than half of the pizza for our group of three. Wedge Salad: The presentation was unique, and the salad was refreshing. We loved the bacon and oven-roasted tomatoes. A quaint pizzeria and sandwich restaurant right on the lake. We got the brussel sprout appetizer (fabulous) and all the food our table was delicious. My husband decided to drive up to the Lake to have lunch at my favorite waterfront lake view. We got there around noon, and it was already packed on the patio so the very nice hostess said "grab a drink and I'll send you a text when we're ready for you about 15mins". We grabbed a drink and met a very nice bartender named Sebastian, but with a B. He made very nice screwdrivers to my liking. We got seated by the railing and ordered the shrimp bacon and jalapeño poppers with cheese whiz on top called Pats Poppers $18. This is the second time we had them and they are so good. You get a 5 count so if there are two people you'll need to split it. I wish restaurants made appetizers an even count. Today, we decided to try the pizza YINZER BY B.C. mozzarella, salami, spicy capicola ham, herb vinaigrette, roma tomatoes, chopped romaine, red onions, pepperoncinis $24 for10in or $29 for 16in. We got the 10inch and finished it which was the perfect size for two people. Our server was from Argentina, it was fun talking to him, he was very attentive and he was headed back to his home country next week, but he loved Lake Tahoe just as I do! Parking is limited so get there early and enjoy a fabulous meal and the gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe! The indoor seating by the window is nice too along with an upstairs venue for large parties. I did like that they added bar seating to the right of the door with tall tables and stools to enjoy the view too, but it wasn't open for lunch - only bar drinks. read more

Service and ambience was great... food however was very disappointing. The lamb lollipops were amazing, we had to order a second order. The jalapeño poppers were so good also! The bread was very dense and dry. We ordered clam linguine, chicken Alfredo and the noodle soup, and they were all very bland. For that many entrees on the menu, I would've assumed they would've made these great. Very disappointing that a jar of Rao's sauce could be so much tastier than a restaurant, serving meals at an expensive price tag. They definitely should stick to their meats and grilled items! We came here for lunch on a weekday and sat outside on the deck. You cannot beat that view - so beautiful! We shared the Flatbread Chicken Sandwich which reminded me of a Greek wrap. One of the few waterfront restaurants in Tahoe. Great little bar outside. Inside is casual and slightly upscale. Prices are high as expected for Tahoe waterfront ($9 draft beer). The thin crust pizzas are the best deal and phenomenal. The large 16" at $29 is enough to feed 3 hungry adults, medium is enough for 2. A single entree is near the price of a large pizza. Place is extremely loud (wood floors and ceiling). You practically have to yell to be heard when it's busy so not a good romantic dining room. read more

We've been here once before for dinner, but this is the first time that we are here early enough to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Our Server was really nice and provided good service. My husband and I shared a House Salad and a Margherita Pizza. We ordered the large and it was too big. The Salad had Spring Mix with Cucumber, Tomato, Corn, Roasted Beets and egg. It was so fresh and we just loved the combination of ingredients. What a fantastic experience we had here. Although the wait for a table was long (50 mins) walking around the area was beautiful. We were seated outside with a lake view - as the sun had set is was getting cool but the heater lamp made us all quite comfortable. Our server Laura (who was fantastic) told us it was unexpectedly busy- more so than the 4th of July. She managed very well and with a nice smile. We shared a large pizza (they are huge) which was scrumptious. The crust was thin and perfectly crisped (which I prefer). The bread bowl was a huge hit with all of us- especially the kids. Wanted a place right on the lake for a snack and a cocktail. Found Za's went right in and were seated outside overlooking the marina and the lake. We ordered some calamari to go with the cocktails we already purchased at the bar. The server was cordial and our calamari arrived quickly We asked for a side of cocktail sauce for the calamari and were disappointed that they only offered marinara sauce instead. We also requested a side of ranch. Food was good-view and ambiance great. We got the bill to realize that the ranch and marinara were an up charge. It's Tahoe I get it but we just surprised that a restaurant that serves calamari wouldn't provide cocktail sauce. Additionally this restaurant was extremely clean including the restroom. We visited on December 28, 2025, with a group of five adults and one baby. While the location and atmosphere are nice and some staff were pleasant, our experience was made uncomfortable by repeated issues with one specific server. 1) Right after we sat down, our server very firmly told us the restaurant was "very strict" about outside food, including baby food and formula, and that parents would need to step outside to feed the baby. As we were contemplating our options, another staff member told us sealed baby food was fine. At the same time, we noticed two other families nearby feeding their babies without any issue. The problem was not the policy itself, but how inconsistently and abruptly it was communicated and enforced. 2) We ordered a pesto pizza but were served a marinara pizza instead. When we pointed this out, the server mentioned that she had heard "marinara" and rolled her eyes in a condescending way. There was no apology. She immediately said replacing it would take another 20 minutes, as if that inconvenience was on us. As she was about to take the pizza away, we asked her to pause so we could decide whether to wait or eat what was served. We chose to keep the pizza. She later brought pesto sauce on the side, which we appreciated, but the interaction itself felt dismissive and unnecessary. 3) An automatic 18% gratuity for a "large party" was added to our bill, even though the menu clearly states this applies to parties of eight or more adults, and we were five adults and one baby. When questioned, the response was defensive rather than apologetic. The server attempted to justify the charge by saying our group was "too much for our staff" because of the child. The bill was eventually corrected. Throughout the meal, this server was curt and disengaged with our table, while we observed noticeably warmer and more upbeat interactions with nearby tables, including other families with toddlers. We understand tone can be subjective, but the contrast was noticeable to multiple people at our table. This was not reflective of the entire staff, as others we interacted with were polite and helpful. However, the inconsistent treatment, dismissive service, and improper gratuity significantly took away from what could have been a good experience. With better consistency and customer communication, this restaurant could do much better. read more

Food - we ordered the pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza with the caprese salad The heirloom tomatoes were tasty and presented beautifully. The pizza was just ok for the cost. It was greasy and the 2nd one that was brought us was a little smaller than our small and the slices cut were done poorly. It wasn't our fault for the reorder but it seemed like it was from size and slices. Service - our server Tiana was personable and attentive. The problem: The food is just so darn mediocre to poor at best. We ordered 2 pizzas and pesto pasta with shrimp. All of them were blah. The pizzas aren't balanced well... crust (cracker thin) doesn't have flavor, the cheese is definitely from Safeway as it's devoid of flavor and the sauce is a bit overpowering but not in a good way. And the price you pay for a this is steep! So bummed, really wanted this to be a gem but it's a miss. Note to management: focus on your food. Having a beautiful lakeside spot doesn't given you a license to fleece folks with poor food and understaffed service. read more

I was kinda upset there was no seating outside so we took a table inside. It was a busy Friday afternoon and we were greeted promptly by the friendly hostess and seated outside on the patio with an epic view of the lake & marina. Our server Tiana was friendly and attentive. My wife & I ordered their version of a Moscow mule and they were excellent. I ordered the Italian hot roast beef with an amazing au jus with fries and both awesome. Fresh and hot and so good. My wife had the Arugula Salmon salad which was excellent as well. Tiana was very nice and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We understand they have a dinner menu as well and we will definitely be back to try it out. Waiter recommended the spaghetti & meatballs which came out RIDICULOUSLY dry -- basically couldn't see the sauce on it (1 star out of 5). My chicken marsala (also 1/5) was dry and salty, the brussel sprouts were fine (3 stars out of 5). Pizzas were good so I would stick to that if you ever come here (3 to 4 stars out of 5). Calamari was $18 and more batter than actual squid (1 star out of 5). Ate dinner here. The location is fantastic and it is my kind of non pretentious place. Unfortunately I could only eat one slice of the Pizza I ordered since it was way too salty. Just put the rest of the large pizza in a box and gave it away. The service was good and parking was little difficult but not impossible. The reason we came here was that another pizzeria was closed. Also, we really did not want to go out and they only had eat in - although they had boxes and all? The two stars is really for the great location and decent service.
