Live jazz music every Friday at the best patio in Westport was the easiest decision I've ever made. The Caesar bites were such a fun take on the traditional Cesar salad and I love it! I also really enjoyed the sliders on the pretzel bun! And their service? 12/10! This is a wonderful spot in Westport

One of the nicest little patios in town! I worked from there one morning and it was super peaceful. Small inside area with great charm and decor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will be back!

I went from never hearing of this place to recommending it to everyone. Super surprised by this one, mostly because of location. Ordered a signature Apple Bourbon Latte. Oh baby! I downed it in no time and honestly almost ordered another. I also ordered a breakfast burrito. So tasty, I forgot to take a picture. Guess that means I have to go back now. Darn the luck.

Le Champion brought a unique vibe compared to other cafes in the city. It's chill and laid back with a simple menu, but the menu has fun, playful items too (which leans into the fun and playfulness of the vintage sporting goods theme) I had the golden latte and liked it a lot. Most of the time I drink espresso or black coffee, so I was very satisfied choosing outside of my routine this time. I can't resist some European-style frites. Those were really good too. The service was attentive, friendly and accurate.

Super cute and cozy spot, perfect for a coffee break or a quick bite. I also loved coming in the evening--their drink menu is great, and they serve some really nice cocktails. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the decor is absolutely aesthetic. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!

So i decided to try this place and to be honest it was just okay. The manager was nice but the workers behind the bar were very slow and sort of rude . They didn't have nice greeting and didn't seem happy to be at work. There was a younger young lady who came and her energy was different. The food didn't blow my mind . It seems fancy but was just okay to me . The food was not very hot just like warm. Being that I know they made it in front of me that was odd. The best thing I tried on the menu to me were the truffle fries. I do think if the workers were a bit more kind my experience would have been better ! The space is small...: I like the concept, but to be honest it didn't wow me ! Experience is everything.

Loved the vibe of this place! I want to go back & try more food since the artichoke dip was out for the night. The truffle fries were good but almost too truffle-y & I love truffle They do have my favorite wine (jazz odyssey) so that is a plus, but I need to go back and try their dip and the sliders. Great vibe for a patio happy hour w/ drinks for sure.

Here is Nick - they are serious about 5:00 laptops down and music up!!

Food, service, ambiance are fantastic!! And.. it's French. So get here and have a delish mean and some joy.

I've been wanting to check out this new spot since it opened and it did not disappoint! My girlfriends and I had some cocktails and snacks, including the Froze cocktails, caviar appetizer and truffle fries. The drinks were yummy (but I couldn't take the wine/alcohol), the caviar was a unique appetizer at a place like this but fun to have and truffle fries were delicious. I'd love to come back during the daytime for coffee and enjoy the patio.

Was sad to Cava go but happy we got something similar to replace it. It's very cute and feels more open on the inside. I feel like there's more tables on the patio too. I stopped in by myself to have a little happy hour cocktail and a snack. It was a lovely day for and everyone was very welcoming. Can't wait to visit again!

I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS PLACE. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff is always friendly, regardless of the time of day. They are always welcoming you in and getting you situated and comfortable. Their drinks are to die for, I could live off of the champion spritz! I do reccomend trying out different drinks to get a good feel, you can't go wrong with any of them. The food is also so yummy and a good portion that goes well with the drinks.

Le Golden Latte and Strawberry Matcha

Le Champion is such a cute coffee shop. It's coffee meets vintage varsity but chic! I love the concept and the menu hit all the right spots when it came to items my boyfriend and I love! Since we were there for coffee and matcha, we made a deal to come back and try a few items on their menu that were more fitting for a cocktail hour or pre-snack before date night. Through and through this place is aesthetically pleasing! However; here is what we ordered, how we rate it, and what we thought: *Strawberry Matcha 2/5: At first glance, the presentation of the matcha looked really great, but after my observation I noticed a few things. The Matcha was clearly layered as listed: matcha on the bottom, milk in the middle, then topped with the beautiful strawberry whipped cold foam (which was honestly so good, 5/5). However, that isn't typically how matcha is prepared. After mixing it (I always take a sip or two before stirring), I noticed the matcha color was very dull. I'm not sure what grade of matcha was used, but even after mixing it several times, I wasn't a fan. The matcha grains kept sinking to the bottom no matter how much I stirred, and the texture stayed grainy. The taste leaned way too earthy for me, and unfortunately, I just didn't enjoy this matcha. Le Golden Latte 4/5: This latte was bursting with flavors that I could appreciate. The latte was mixed with a house espresso that was very bold but mixed well with the cinnamon turmeric, especially when mixed in. With such a bold espresso, I would have liked to have the cinnamon turmeric mixed with something else, but overall it was good.

I have mixed emotions about this new concept with the team behind powerhouses such as Noka and The Russel you would expect service to be spectacular. The location and decor are impeccable, with slight nods to Cą Va with an incredibly curated wine selection and tiny kitchen space (also a very paired down menu) but, I've had one solo experience here that was great and one time I met a friend and we were almost completely ignored for a good half of our lunch- water glasses weren't filled, we had to beg to get coffee after we were finished with our food and sadly to say it was a near two star experience. They promptly mentioned after the meal that they would never go back, and I can't say I'd blame them. Now, onto the food, even though the menu is small the bistro style of small dishes are in my opinion quite tasty however, portion sizes are small and the prices don't necessarily reflect that. I don't have a problem with a small bite (or a few) and a glass of wine (or a few) but, just go into the experience not expecting a full meal. The most filling dish I have ordered is a tie between the artichoke dip and the lobster Mac and Cheese. If you're looking for something unique I would go with the Caesar bites which are adjacent to a croquette, filled with chicken and cheese and served on top of an herbaceous pesto. Another thing I do enjoy about this dish is its almost like two in one with a nice little romaine Caesar salad on top. The sliders would be a skip for me, the quality of beef is nothing special, I would love these upgraded to Wagyu or just not such a sad piece of filet, there's more arugula than beef and for around $20 the quality in my opinion should be far superior. The combined coffee shop concept is unique and fun but, the service is hit or miss, I do enjoy the le golden latte with warm spices of turmeric and cinnamon. The flavors are inventive for the speciality coffee drinks but, they also offer the basics as well. Would I come back, I think so just for the vibes and the small bites but, I know for a fact my friend who I invited for lunch would never give it another shot. So, maybe it's a polarizing place that's not for everyone but, with better service and a few tweaks of the menu it would be a four star for sure maybe even a five but, with my experiences so far it's definitely a three for me.

I highly recommend making a reservation because the space gets crowded quickly. We started the night with "The Corinthian," which was a velvety, sweet, and incredibly refreshing libation. The food throughout the night was a bit of a mixed bag, leading to some hilarious table critiques: One friends Stuffed Lamb Saddle: This dish looked like a Monet on a plate, but unfortunately, most of the pallette tasted like a five-year-old's finger painting. One of the glaring faux pas's was the Kryptonite-colored risotto, which tasted exactly like the peppermint gel the dentist uses to scrub your teeth clean. The lamb itself was cooked well, though a bit on the gamey side. The Halibut & Croque Monsieur: On the brighter side, one friend ordered the halibut--which tasted great, though the portion left her wanting a lot more--and another ordered the fancy French version of a ham and cheese sandwich, which was delicious. My friend and I decided to split a few plates: Oysters: Served on an elegant little plate with a house-made hot sauce and trout roe, these were absolutely spot-on. Beef Empanadas: As someone with high empanada standards, these didn't quite hit the mark. While they were mostly crispy and the meat had good flavor, the texture inside was a little mushy. The saving grace was the fantastic chimichurri sauce. Steak Frites: The steak was tender and flavorful, served with hollandaise and mustard sauces. The accompanying truffle fries, however, were like costume jewelry--glamorous and fancy at first glance, but ultimately just ordinary. The staff was nice and attentive and it was very thoughtful that they told us the 20% tip was included in the bill. Note: The restaurant does get pretty loud and packed, but we got lucky and were seated all the way in the back, which gave us a bit of a haven especially since our group can be a little obnoxious. Pro-tip: if you have a sweet tooth, saunter over to Insomnia Cookies afterward for an incredible treat... It's cookie heaven!

I always appreciate the honesty--nothing worse than wondering if your entrée is being handcrafted by Italian grandmas in the back. The drinks were delicious and surprisingly reasonably priced. We did find out they have a happy hour at the bar...right after we missed it. Rookie mistake on our part! The lasagna absolutely stole the show. Rich, flavorful, cheesy, and worth every bite. If you're on the fence, order it. The appetizer was tasty but felt a little small for the price, so I'd probably save room (and money) for more pasta instead.
