It's a very busy place for breakfast on weekends. It took a lot longer until the food was served. The food was just okay. Some interesting dishes that come out not quite as expected, the potatoes were good though.

Services and food was great! Menu is somewhat limited. Love people watching on the patio.

Great spot for brunch! We sat outside and enjoyed our meal. The eggs Benedict with smoked salmon (Pacific Northwest Benedict) was very good. The cinnamon roll sounded amazing so we ordered that, too. It was BIG (definitely a shareable order), but I felt it was a bit dry.

This was the perfect spot for my birthday breakfast. We were staying in the Plaza, and it was just a short walk from our hotel so no parking stress. The space is bright and airy with tons of natural light and since it was a beautiful sunny day, this place made it a great start to the morning. The staff was so friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. I went with the pancakes and bacon which was so good and my boyfriend loved his biscuits and gravy. This is such a cute little spot for breakfast or brunch if you're in the area.

We have been here several times and every time we are satisfied. Classic Cup is delicious. Everything we have tried has been excellent. They have a coffee bar so you can have drip coffee and/or espresso. I personally love the cold brew. Service is always fast. Wait staff is terrific. Ambience is nice. You can sit inside or outside.

Another great spot walking distance from the Hilton. Get there early as there was quite a line at the 9:00 am opening time. We sat on the front covered patio, although the side/ back one has lots of umbrellas. I wish we had got to that one because the traffic noise can be loud and distracting out front. Service, even though they were fairly busy was prompt. My wife ordered the chicken salad sandwich and fries while I had the biscuits and gravy with home fries. They have all day breakfast and lunch here, so depending on your mood, they have you covered. She enjoyed the ciabatta bread hers was served on and the fries had a satisfying crunch when bit into. My biscuits were a tad hard on the bottom, requiring a knife to cut them, but they had great flavor and the sausage gravy was quite savory. We will return on our next visit.

The chairs are incredibly comfortable, exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Great wine selection, and the cocktails were excellent. We started with the spinach artichoke dip -- a little on the creamy side, which is a good thing if you like it that way. Served with tortilla chips. I ordered the octopus appetizer as my main. It was perfectly cooked -- slightly crispy without being overdone, which is rare for octopus. The potatoes underneath were a touch underdone for my taste, but the sauce tied everything together nicely. The shrimp and grits were outstanding. The grits were cooked perfectly -- having spent a lot of time in the South, I know good grits when I taste them. The shrimp was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but the real star was the sauce. My friend said it was described as an avocado sauce, but it had a spicy kick that reminded me almost of Indian food. Service was outstanding. We started with the Mini Cheddar Biscuits to share, which come with four biscuits. They were excellent--fluffy on the inside with a slightly crispy exterior. The cheddar flavor hit first, followed by a touch of sweetness from the honey, and the combination worked really well. For my meal, I ordered the Fried Chicken, substituted the mashed potatoes for mac and cheese, and added a side of collard greens. The fried chicken was absolutely amazing, perfectly seasoned and fried. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and cheesy with a nice crunch from the breadcrumb topping. The collard greens were some of the best I've ever had. They had a great smoky flavor and were well-seasoned without being overly salty. The only downside to the experience was the service toward the end of our meal. We sat for around 15 minutes waiting for the bartender to come by so we could get drink refills and the check. We eventually had to wave them down, even though they were working right in front of us. Overall, the food was outstanding and easily made up for the minor service issue. I'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

So we loaded up and showed up one day around Noon. Ambiance was really cool. It's in the middle of some sort of progressive looking shanty-esque suburb. The kind of place that does drag queen bingo. I was right at home. Inside was college sport bar, but with a nice, huge board on the wall of all their beer selection. It Was quite expansive. Service was top notch, too. Nice server took care of us, made sure our glasses were never empty. The food came out at a good clips, and we got an unexpected bonus of free little beignet-like donuts with some delicious dipping sauces. As for food, we started off with a jumbo order of the Truffle Parmesan Hand-Cut Fries for the table. We got to choose two from their extensive list of aioli dipping sauces. Fries were good. Dusted with the perfect amounts of truffle and parmesan. And the sauces were my oh my. I recommend paying the upcharge to just try them all. I mentioned the time earlier, because we had no idea we were stumbling upon their brunch menu. Even more options to choose from! I got the Crispy Waffle Smash Burger (smashed hertzog beef patties, fried egg, smoked bacon, merkt's cheddar, caramelized onion, maple aioli, crispy buttermilk waffle). This thing was really nice. Perfect waffle, not too small, not too big, and no oily or anything obtrusive. A nice bun option. Eggs and bacon sometime get lost against giant burger patties, but with these smash patties, the extra accoutrements really stand out and make this burger really stand out in my mind. I also for the try the Smokestack Burger (smoked burnt ends, smoked gouda, whiskey bbq glaze, pickle relish, chipotle aioli & crispy jalapeño straws). Uhhh, as you can read, this thing was loaded with goodness. Fatty burger, smokey burnt ends, sweet boozy glaze, acidic pickles, and texture from that jalapeno. This was the perfect burger. I insist you order this. Overall, my research did not reveal Beer Kitchen to me, locals recommendation did. Shows that you gotta use your street smarts instead of your book smarts sometimes. That should be a centerpiece, and it was disappointing. There was one broccolini dish that the sign said was with lemon butter and cotija cheese, but appeared to be just steamed broccolini with absolutely no seasoning. I asked and was told they wanted to keep it vegan, but..... seriously, no salt? Pepper? Oil? Apparently not, just sad, plain broccolini. They did at least white out the accompaniments on the sign to correct themselves, so that's something I guess, but you really do expect something better from an establishment like this. The server was attentive to our drinks- the brunch was bottomless- but hard to find to get the check. The biggest weak spot both years has been the dessert table. There were perhaps five small desserts on a small cocktail table. Really not what you'd expect. The bacon was pretty good, however, you often find a lot of undercooked bacon on buffets. One conspicuously good thing is that, unlike so many other places on Easter, the tables were spaced well apart. Many places will pack the diners in like sardines, and this was not the case here- we had ample room to move about. Altogether, Grand Street needs to step it up for Easter Brunch. There just wasn't really anything special about it, and some elements were very much lacking. It didn't feel like a brunch you go to in celebration, which in my opinion an Easter brunch should. Nothing stood out, it was fairly plain [including decor] and it just needed MORE.
