A hidden gem! Classy and vintage feel inside with a delicious and modern twist in French food and all cocktails. I asked for a non-alcoholic spritz (pregnant) and the waiter and bartender made the best N/A cocktail and wrote down the recipe for me to recreate at home. Incredible! All the food was delicious and unique. I'd love to come back for brunch.

Fantastic little brunch spot. David helped us with some great suggestions and everything was scrumptious. We immediately knew this would be one of our new go-to's. Definitely make sure you get a reservation!

First time trying Westport originally me and my mom wanted to have a brunch so we stopped by to see if we can grab a table however it was a busy Sunday and all the tables were full, but the host was able to grab us two spots at the bar which made the experience even better. The server at the bar was kind and friendly, and ensure that we had menus and was properly serviced I tried the quiche breakfast plate that came with truffle fries, mayo side and ketchup. The quiche was perfectly made crispy crust and amazing egg and bacon combination. Truffle fries were perfectly crisp Parmesan cheese and just a right amount of truffle oil. I sided it with an espresso martini, which was the best choice. I am a coffee lover, and this tasted just like an espresso nice and cold and can't even taste the alcohol which made it a dangerously delicious drink would order again! My mom tried egg Benedict's on English muffin with ham and a side of potatoes and was happy with her choice. She also had a Irish coffee which was delicious warm and the perfect side for breakfast. Overall, the environment and vibe was friendly, relaxing, entertaining, and the perfect place if you want breakfast with alcoholic drink to pair it with overall breakfast and a bar can never go wrong!

If you're looking for French food in KC, this is the place. I've loved everything I've had here, and the consistency of quality is impressive. This visit it was freezing cold outside and snowing, so stepping into Westport Cafe was like being transported to another (cozier) place. The steak frites are always delicious, and I love the béarnaise! Their happy hour is also so worth it! If you haven't been, this is a must-visit spot.

Loved this French cafe! The moment you walk in it gives a captivating and intimate feeling! The staff was very friendly, they even made sure the kids had separate plates because they were sharing an entree. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were such a good twist on pancakes!! Very fluffy and filling! I also ordered a side of golden potatoes, never can go wrong with that! Parking is a little bit of a struggle but anywhere in Westport is lol! Overall very cute establishment with comforting, delicious food!

Immaculate vibes!! Espresso martinis were delicious to start out. My favorite part was the arugula salad and truffle fries. The salad was so fresh and the fries were perfect. I probably would get the steak frites next time I go because I was jealous that my friend got that the whole time Vibes are amazing & will definitely be back! Great for a date night or girls night vibes.

We just ate a delicious meal here with brioche service (so light and fluffy--like eating a cloud), arugula salad--perfectly seasoned, risotto and scallops, steak frites, and cocktails! Pim's cup, French 75, Charlie Sour and wine! The ambience was delightful, cozy but not crowded. We had a great server named Sarah. Overall a wonderful place to spend our fifteenth wedding anniversary! Thank you!

Westport Cafe is a gem in Wesport and in Kansas City in general. Owned by three French guys, they have captured the French bistro atmosphere and food down to the smallest details. I've been to Westport Cafe for brunch and dinner a few times now and I'm always impressed by the quality of the food. Tuesday is steak night where you get steak with béarnaise sauce for $20 with bottomless fries aka frites. Basically steak frites and honestly it is as simple as that. They execute it immaculately and they are one of the only places I know that do steak frites in the city. Their brunch menu is also fantastic and those lemon ricotta pancakes are a star on it. Service has always been friendly and accommodating whenever I've gone. Plus they do cool collaborations with other restaurants and change their menu to highlight new cuisines and dishes. A top tier restaurant for sure in the metro. Happy eating and remember: Don't deny, satisfy!

One of my favorites in kc Always have amazing food and service. Still waiting for that earl grey dessert to come back to the menu

For my birthday I wanted something close but memorable as I was mid moving as well as something both my parents and I could agree on. We saw that Westport Cafe had a steak night and it was something we all really enjoyed. The decor, the ambiance, and the service was all fantastic. We all enjoyed the steak and fries and would definitely go back. A good sauce never hurts and I loved the bernaise. A reservation is definitely recommended and I'm glad we did it.

There's a reason this place has 4.3 stars with 468 reviews (as of the writing of this review). What a great Westport little gem it is. Had the opportunity to enjoy a great dining experience with co-workers. It's a bit nondescript from the outside but as soon as you walk in you're greeted by a very cool bar loaded with goodness and a bartender hard at work serving up delicious concoctions. We were quickly greeted, seated and our waiter was in crazy attentive throughout our time. The food was absolutely on point. Every plate was flavorful and their Happy Hour menu is quite robust. Some of the fav apps were the focaccia, lamb skewers the cheese plate. Main plates that stood out were the Steak Frites, Smashed Burger, and Halibut. There was also a Gnocchi Chefs Special plate that was described as small delicious pillows..how can one go wrong. And now the bestest part - cocktails! The Copper Rabbit is by far the best of the event. Closely followed by the Amaro Mai Tai. Overall a classy eclectic local joint with a chill vibe doing its thing and doing it well. Well played West Cafe. I'll be back..

It was the perfect night to sit by the windows and watch the clouds roll in as a thunderstorm approached. The service was excellent. Our server, Jenna, was friendly, attentive, and quick throughout the entire meal, making the experience even better. The food was delicious. We ordered the lobster roll, Braised & Blue pizza, meatballs, oysters with caviar, and the chicken and shrimp yakitori. We also had a couple cocktails- Spicy Paloma and Pineapple Express made with reposado. Everything was flavorful and well prepared, but the lobster roll was definitely my favorite of the night. Between the stunning rooftop views, great atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious food, Prime Social made for a perfect evening in Kansas City. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend it for a date night, special occasion, or simply enjoying the city skyline with friends.

We ordered Old Fashioned which was what you would expect. The Suburban Sunset was different and good but a bit syrupy. I finished with the espresso martini which was very good and very strong. For food we had oysters on the half shell that were fresh and hit the spot. Next Yard Bird which is chicken meat balls. The flavor is good but they are mushy. Probably won't get them again. The chicken, steak and shrimp sticks were ok. The chicken had a rubbery texture. The star of the night was the fried lobster bites. Very good. Chicken and beef sliders were good but again the chicken was rubbery. The fries were also very good. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. To me it reminds me of lamb chops which I love. We finished with the 24 carrot truffle which was nice but not great. Overall we had a good time at Prime Social and would come back.

The Puttery completely blew me away!!…read more This place had been on my list to try out for a long time and I wish I'd gone sooner. It's located in a cool area in the middle of the plaza right underneath Chiefs Fit gym. As soon as you enter you get a feel for the great ambiance and fun variety of music. We came in during a cold snowy day and took full advantage of the FREE coat check at the front desk. On the first floor there's a mini golf course as well as a full bar and seating area. Once you go downstairs though, you'll see just how massive the place is. Theres TONS of seating and cool little nooks to hangout in which make it great for a date night or corporate events. Once you get into the mini golf there's some great courses to check out. Each one has a different theme and they make it super simple to track your points. Simply enter the names of all your players on the touch screen at the first hole, then enter the number of strokes afterwards. After that it will follow you throughout the course until you're finished and tell you who wins at the end! There's also a place to sit your drinks at the start of each hole with a menu of course specific cocktails that I highly recommend trying. Every part of this place is perfect to take pictures and have a great time. But in my opinion, the true highlight of the Puttery is the food. I had the pleasure of meeting the head chef while here and he truly puts his heart into the menu. Our server Mariah was also super helpful giving us drink and food recommendations throughout our time here. Everything sounded amazing but I had to go with the Cajun Chicken Philly since I'm a sucker for a Philly sandwich. It was one of my favorite sandwiches I've ever had. From the soft delicious bread to the unbelievably juicy and tender chicken, this was such a great dish. The combination of ingredients and the plating itself made it clear that nothing comes as an afterthought here. I also tried the loaded fries which were a great recent addition to the menu. Last, we finished it off by trying the Tiramisu, Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and the Bourbon Bread Pudding. Each one was really amazing but my favorite was the Raspberry Donut Cheesecake, and I'm not even a huge cheesecake fan! I definitely plan to come back here just for the food because it was so delicious!! And on top of that, they recently started a meal prep service which I plan to take full advantage of! Overall you can tell that every detail is thought through at the Puttery. It truly feels like a luxury experience with an element of fun to round it out. The service is amazing and the food and drinks are to die for. If you're ever looking for a fun date night, a group outing, or even just a place for a solo dinner or drinks, you have to check this place out!
