    Hummus with Chicken

Ordered a takeout order tonight and loved it. This has been on our list for a while and we were happy we finally tried it. The estimated time was 15 minutes after we ordered it online and we received a text 10 minutes later that it was ready. The amount of food we were given will feed us each for 3 meals. The bread/garlic sauce didn't even make it home because we ate it all on the way! The chicken and the veggies were by far my favorite on my combo, specifically the zucchini. I enjoyed the carrots but they could have been cooked a little longer. The house salad was fresh and I enjoyed the dressing. The hummus was delicious We will definitely pick them again!

Back a few days later and the service was much more attentive. They also served us a warm, fresh hot bread with the garlic spread ( which was delicious). I guess overall it's a little inconsistent but the food is great.

The wait staff was absolutely great. The garlic dip was out of this world good and fresh. Very good food - we will be back again! Thank you.

Ordered online and is soo good! Probably my 3rd or 4th time ordering while in town. Food is fresh, flavorful, and is ready quickly! Would recommend to anyone, definitely a staple for me.

one of my favorite genres of food... middle eastern. I would bathe in garlic sauce if i could. overall everything was fairly good but I did take away one star because it wasn't the best i've ever had. there were definitely some things that could of been improved upon flavor and seasoning wise. the lentil soup needed lots of salt and so did the tabouli and the filling in the spinach and meat pies. the grape leaves were also very strange with an extremely mushy texture. after adding a few twists of salt to everything though the meal was pretty good. we got the sampler platter to try a little but of everything. the spinach pie had good flavor, the shawarma was moist and the fried kibbeh was good. the garlic sauce was okay but it did have some other flavor to it that i couldn't put my finger on... like i said before i would bathe in garlic sauce if i could but i've definitely had better than this one. the fries were also very good in my opinion. I say that because I am sort of odd in the way that I LOVE soft squishy fries. so if you like crispy fries these are not for you. honorable mention for the best baklava i've had in a long time. the pieces we received were so moist and drenched in honey. my mouth is salivating now thinking about it. oh and the salad dressing for the fattoush salad was also to die for. overall the food was pretty good but i'd still like to try other middle eastern places here instead.

A favorite place to visit- consistently excellent food and service even when busy. Tonight I tried the lamb vegetable soup which was delicious even though it needed a little salt, which is better than being too salty. Pita and garlic is always one of the things I look forward to the most. Ordered the shish kabob combo which comes with beef tenderloin, chicken, and kufta kabob. Each meat was perfectly grilled and tender. Comes with rice pilaf and fantastic grilled veggies. I'll have dinner for another night or two!

We went there in the middle of a snowstorm and the staff made it a great experience. They are super nice they even banded together to push someone out who was stuck. The food was great. I especially loved the meat stuffed grape leaves and the bread and garlic dip was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Wow. Come hungry and leave with leftovers! Entrees are BIG! It is enough for two meals honestly, so I would split it if you want. I went home with leftovers and I can't wait to eat it. Free naan for the table which was so delicious. It tastes authentic, feels like a family restaurant, and I would 100% come here again next time I'm craving Mediterranean / Middle Eastern food. My chicken shawarma plate came with a salad or soup - I got the salad, and barely even finish a quarter of it cause it was such a big bowl.

That attitude continued all the way through and at one point the other employee chimed in because they were out of some of the toppings (which were super minimal already). I pointed at the pickled turnips and asked if there were more of the pickled and I couldn't think of the word turnips. The girl that just got done helping someone else ended up answering instead and said they can get more from the back (she was super helpful). Then the girl helping me was still like what did you want? Like she didn't even hear me ask. So at that point I was about ready to just say never mind but figured we were almost done. The food was below average to deal with that crappy attitude. Next time I will just got a block down to Pita House!

I have noticed that over the past year, this stand has changed at least once, but it's always been a Mediterranean type of casual spot where they make your food in front of you. I wanted a salad recently and saw they had a kale salad on their menu at Damascus. The menu board said it was $5 for a "regular" and $8 for the larger size. I ordered the regular kale salad and asked to add gyro meat. When the order rang up, it came to $15 after tip! I was a little shocked but didn't say anything since I didn't know if maybe he misheard me or the prices weren't correct. Either way, it was a little shocking and I wasn't sure what to expect. I thought he'd make the salad right there, but someone in the back brought out a bag to me. It felt heavy! I opened up the container and had to laugh - it was a massive portion of gyro meat completely covering up the small salad! I did get my money's worth, but it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Either way, the salad itself was delicious. Honestly it was too much meat, even for me (a meat lover), and some of it was a bit dry. I know my coworkers enjoy the bowls at this spot (but they have also mentioned how the price can vary wildly for them) so I may try one of those next time I'm in the mood for something a little healthier.
