This is inside a nice cafeteria style indoor space in the Oak Brook shopping center. The inside is bright, clean and although we came in later in the day they still had a good selection of the macarons. There was just one staff member there and they were welcoming and friendly. We ordered a box of 6 to try which was $16.75 not including tax. Usually macarons can be a bit pricey but we liked the flavors we tried. They all still tasted fresh despite us going in the afternoon. They also have gelato and other items on their menu.

i used to come here all the time but somehow it's gotten worse recently. the macarons were not cooked right at all and i just didn't enjoy them. they didn't taste like the flavor i picked either. my friends got an affogato and LOVED it, so that was the only good thing about it. the macaron gelato used to be my favorite, now it tastes very gritty and not smooth like it used to. it's made me very sad what this place has come to. would definitely come back for the affogato tho! olga seems like she hated being there.

My husband and I visited the District Food Court at Oakbrook Center. We were looking for coffee and went to Le Macaron French Pastries. We ordered coffee and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was rich and creamy. The coffee was bold and rich and full of caffeine. The shop is bright and the baristas were nice and friendly. I can't wait to go back and try some more of their food.

What a delightful store! Colorful from corner to corner with lots of beautiful pastries to purchase, it can be overwhelming to choose which pieces of art to purchase for yourself or others. On my trip, I didn't get a chance to try these pastries (as I'd stopped by Stan's first) but did have the chance to try their beverages. The cost is surprisingly reasonable compared to other options in the shopping center, with most items at about $3-$4. I found the iced coffee to be light and refreshing, not overly strong at all and without too much ice. The hot chocolate was pretty good as well, not the best I've had but it met expectations considering the price. The service was overall quick and friendly and provided with plenty of smiles.

Very clean inside. Macaron selection was large. They were slightly on the small side in comparison to others I've had. There were not too many other pastry selections. The espresso while good was on the weak side. Staff was nice. Located inside The District upstairs.

Great experience! The woman working was kind and attentive. Felt safe going into the store - there was only one person in the store. Overall, decent quality - some of the macarons broke apart when trying to take a bite, but definitely satisfied my sweet tooth. The salted caramel was my favorite - purchased 6 for $15. Some flavors weren't as strong as others (black currant, vanilla) but the majority were delicious. Btw, this location used to be another bakery that sold wedding cakes, but glad to see they still have macarons! Would recommend if you're in the neighborhood.

Le Macaron is a cute macaron shop with tons of variety. They not only sell just macarons, but cakes, eclairs, chocolates, gelato, and coffee drinks. It's located at the food court in Oakbrook Mall. They have lots of fun flavors in their display case! I ordered a dozen ($31) of their macarons: pistachio, lavendar white chocolate, colombian coffee, tiramisu, chocolate praline nutella, and salted caramel. By far my favorites were the pistachio, tiramisu, and nutella. My only note is that some had more filling than others and some were more fresh than others. A bit more consistency would've been appreciated. I also treated myself to their Chocolate Cherry Iced Latte ($6) which was delightful! I love cherry flavored anything but often it's hard to find things that don't taste too cough syrupy. It was the perfect balance between cherry and chocolate and I loved it. Service was great. The employee was knowledgeable and gave me tips on which flavors were the best and let me customize my drink. Pricewise, it is on the pricier side but macarons are an expensive dessert since they're such a hassle to make. Their macarons run on the taller side rather than the wide side, making them a bit more easier to overbake in my opinion. Still a delicious treat but must be eaten within a day (which is never a problem for me). The coffee was well worth it in my opinion. I will definitely be coming back!

Loved this place! The French Macaroons and Gelato was amazing! Jeanne (I hope I spelled it right) was very experienced and knowledgeable about the shop and the delicious treats. We will either place a order online or come visit again. Thank you!

I was walking towards the brown line when this place caught my eye. The minute I saw "French" pastries, I just had to walk in. I haven't been to Paris since 2007, but my lord does this place feel like I've been transported back. The owners/employees are French which makes it feel even more authentic. The place is decorated beautifully with a huge macaron tower at the front and gorgeous bright white and pink colors to set the mood. There are tons of macaron flavors to choose from. You have the option to buy 1 for 2.60$ or 20 for 47$. There are also tons of French pastries; I had the Pain Au Chocolat, which is basically a croissant with chocolate in it. It was absolutely mouthwatering delicious and truly authentic. They also offer gelato, handmade chocolates and coffee/espresso drinks. The service was also top notch. There was an indecisive couple ordering ahead of me and the employee was extremely patient with their back and forth order and made sure they got exactly what they wanted. Such an adorable place and definitely a must visit if you're ever around the "Old Town" area or right by the Armitage Brown Line stop.

Did I just fall out of the Chicago "L" and land in Paris?!? This place is beautifully decorated in soft pink and white walls. Perfect setting for the cutest macaroons and French pastries! I had a red velvet and a rose !! So delicious I also had a yummy Macchiato. They also offer gelato and chocolates. This is one of many nice spots to visit in the cute Chicago neighborhood of "Old Town."

The macarons from here were absolutely wonderful! They had such a huge variety of unique flavors and everything we tried tasted great. The macarons were incredibly soft and melted in your mouth as you chewed them. The different flavors were subtle and not too overwhelming. My favorites were the raspberry white chocolate, red velvet, and salted caramel flavors. They also had beautiful little chocolates that had amazing artistic designs, as you can see in the picture. They tasted great too!

But, I am reviewing the Lombard location. The selection was good and fresh, although some of their items are a bit pricey. I ordered cake pops, brownies, and a chocolate chip cookie. The sales person was pleasant and quick. This store is their biggest store, and they feed the Winfield and Schaumburg stores. They make their pastries at this location, so you'll probably get the freshest selection at the Lombard location. I had bought a gift card from Costco for Sweet Reserve. I admit if I hadn't bought it, and received a discount at Costco for it, I probably would not have noticed the store. It's in a small strip mall on Roosevelt road which has hundreds of strip malls off the road. The store itself is clean and well kept. It does have a limited selection of products but they were all pretty good. The brownies are very frudgey, just the way I like them. The cake pops are sweet, but a little dry. The cookie has a lot of chips in them. Overall, I liked the place.

Close at 10pm but if you need longer later hours a 1am tea shop is about a quarter mile down the road with good options also. Parking lot with plenty of parking. My highlight is that they have booths. Plenty of tables and seating. Good menu options for lattes, iced, hot, espresso, etc. Reasonable priced and they have 20oz coffee. The service was nice as the girl was kind but she didn't seem to understand me well and she didn't know if the coffee was Turkish or not. Therefore, I ordered an Americano with their homemade pistachio sauce. It was a nice beverage. I also ordered a Turkish bread with ground beef. It too was delicious, hot and fresh. The ambiance is inviting. The pastries and mini to small cake options were quite beautiful. The nose level was very quiet until little ones came in. Still tolerable but if you are studying and it's busy don't forget your headphones. Lol. I studied for about 3 hours and I would definitely return again.

The Truck was slated to open at 10am, so we got there at 9:30 since we anticipated that there would be a huge line. To our surprise, the line wasn't too extensive. I think we had 25-30 people in front of us, most of them families. They had a variety of sweets available, like cookies, meringues, macarons, etc. and also carried merchandise such as shirts, plushies, pins, and thermal bottles. It only took us about 15 minutes to get to the front once the truck opened for sales. I purchased the 32oz. Thermal Bottle for $40. It's so pretty! I love the pastel colors and the white decal that adorns the bottle. Since it's a Hello Kitty Cafe Truck exclusive, I'm only going to store water in it to keep it as clean as possible. Our nieces purchased the cookies and macarons and loved them. Everything on the truck is extremely cute! If you purchase over $30 worth of food, you get a free small, pink bag. There are no deals that come with purchasing an "x" amount of merchandise. Items are a bit pricey, but it's Hello Kitty, so it's worth it!

But, get two people working at a time, at least one of them a stereotypical New Yorker to get people to order, pay, and move on. Even with long lines, you should be able to get through people more quickly . Especially when it's tap and pay and you're just throwing stuff in a bag. Unless they speed this up or get a mascot to entertain kids, I would not recommend this place. Do a selfie with the van and walk on by.

I didn't want to keep messaging/bothering her but sent her a few messages regardless because I was waiting. Nothing. She responded immediately and said she had a hectic weekend and it was super busy. I understand, totally get it.
