New Cookie spot in Lombard! After dinner my wife, my sister and I stopped by for a sweet treat. It was difficult even getting into the door due to the amount of people that were waiting in line but the customer service was quick and efficient so we were in and out in around 15 minutes. Cookie shop has a nice ambiance as well with balloons at the entrance. My chocolate chip cookie shake was great and so were the Dubai Chocolate cookie and the Twix cookie.

We got three cookies to try -- the Cider Mill Donut, Biscoff Explosion, and the Dubai Cookie. The Biscoff and Dubai ones were out of this world! The inside was gooey with the perfect crunchy edges. The Cider Mill one was just okay, but still decent. The place itself is super clean and organized, which I really appreciated. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors!

Crave Cookies of Lombard is now open. It's located in a small strip mall along Roosevelt Rd right next to Slyce. Parking is limited. It's takeout only, so no seating. The interior is similar to what I remember from Crumbl, so not really unique. They only had a few cookie flavors available, but a worker gave me and my son a mini chocolate chip cookie each, which were good. Thus, we ended up ordering a box of those mini cookies, called Cravelits. This is a nice option because it's a box of 10, making it easy to share, and helping limit calories. :) We also ordered a key lime cookie, which had pretty good flavor and texture. It was soft and chewy, but had just a tad dryness to it, probably from the graham crackers. It was a thick cookie, so I wonder if they could have stuffed it with some cream. Service was friendly. Pricing is similar to other gourmet dessert shops, but seemed slightly cheaper than some. The Cravelit box was $8, and the key lime cookie was $5.

Staff was super polite, we got a sample that was so good. I ordered all 6 kinds, one of each. Had a bite of each in the car right away and they were so chewy, soft and NOT too sweet. This will definitely my go-to cookie place from now on They said it's soft open now, and will have a Grand Opening on 6/28!

I don't get the hype at all. I thought it was terrible. I got the chocolate chip cookie and it was 2/10 if I'm generous

These cookies were brought to our house in Sugar Grove and they were beyond delicious! Can't wait for one to open up closer to us.

Had the lemon poppy seed cookie and it was still raw inside. The outside was crispy though.

Reminds me of Paris Baguette. You clean a platter and tongs and plate up. I got three chocolate dipped Belgian waffles. Nice crystals of sugar. My family and I wanted more. Perfect amount not to feel guilty and just enough sweetness but not too much. Will get again.

(Turn on your speaker for the vids to get a better sense of the environment.) This place is more like an institutional cafeteria in decor, activity, and high ambient noise with too many hard surfaces making for an unsettling experience. Don't come here thinking you're going to quietly ease into the day with a cup of coffee and croissant contemplating the meaning of your existence. The floor plan at this location more closely emulates its major French-inspired competitor (also corporate South Korean) and a much condensed bakery offering than the Naperville (Ogden Ave.) location. You pick your own goods from various cases and get your coffee at the counter. The counter service has a disjointed workflow and they can't seem to get to the point where you leave the counter with all of your order, having to wait for your coffee or some other item. They then yell out (yes, yell) your name over the background din. You have to go up and ask if they just said your name. It's actually sort of funny, and a bit annoying. I do have to say the food itself is actually pretty good but nothing near what you would actually experience in Paris, but still good, flavorful. The coffee holds up to scrutiny as well. Though Tous Les Jours seems to offer consistently good everyday food quality, this location, overall, due to the noise levels and semi-sterile environment, resulted in an unenjoyable experience--I would not be back to this location as there are too many better alternatives.

I've been exploring more Middle Eastern cafés lately, and this one stood out in the best way. I ordered a V60, and honestly it was one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. You can see the care and attention they put into the process, from the precise brewing to serving it with a small pot so I could enjoy the rest at my own pace. The flavor was incredible, smooth and rich. I also tried the pistachio cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious perfectly balanced. Maybe a bit to much chocolate on topo. The presentation matched the taste, and it paired beautifully with the coffee. The café itself has a wonderful atmosphere thoughtfully decorated and very inviting. You can tell a lot of effort was put into creating a warm, stylish, and welcoming space. Between the excellent drinks, the tasty desserts, and the inviting vibe, I left very satisfied and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend Shaghf Café if you're looking for a quality coffee experience!
