I ordered an iced decaf americano and an almond croissant and they were both pretty good! However, it was quite chaotic in there, the music was really loud and was club-like music. There were a bunch of people waiting for their drink in a tight space. They got my order wrong and forgot my pastry so i had to ask at the counter twice, which made the wait time longer. This place had a lot of potential, just wish it was a bit more organized and enjoyable to visit

They have a small bar area which we ended up sitting at because I grossly underestimated how popular this place is. So please make reservations. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. The food was incredible. The drinks were very good. We went for brunch. You can tell everything we ordered was flavorful, but well balanced and utilized the finest of ingredients. I love how they have different flavored butter with the bread depending on the day. It's a nice touch. Service was exceptional. It is BUSY for brunch. You can tell everyone is doing their best to take care of everyone's needs. They are calm, professional, and efficient. Attentive to our needs. We plan to go back for dinner.

Unfortunately, today's visit was the final straw, and we've decided we won't be coming back. Since changing the name from Studio Cafe to Tailored Home Cafe (located inside the interior design shop), something seems to have changed--perhaps new ownership or management. The portions are noticeably smaller, the food quality isn't what it used to be, and it's hard to justify paying Westport prices for an experience that no longer matches the cost. It's disappointing because this used to be one of our favorite spots, and we've visited well over 20 times over the years. I genuinely hope they can get back to what made them so successful in the first place, because we'd love to see them return to the quality that kept us coming back for so long.

What really rubs me the wrong way is that this place is full of antique espresso machines and coffee related gear. But the guy has absolutely no clue of how to make a coffee, and the beans tasted like they were from the bottom of the global coffee bin. The hopper on the grinder was also greasy and grimy. Do better. Quick footnote - in his reply the owner defends his business and says that in 12 years he's never had a complaint. Sometimes people are blind to their own successes, or their own failings. A business that barely managing 3 1/2 stars on Yelp, and has other complaints, several aimed specifically at the guy behind the counter... Well it does seem like he has dissatisfied customers. Most simply never return rather than "say something". Consider this the favour of my saying something.
