Wow so disappointing- our food was cold and the wait time was high- our server was kind not her fault that my potatoes were warm and my salmon Benedict was cold. My husband never got his toast and after asking the host it was very lightly toasted and of course cold. My Bloody Mary was tasty and was taking off our bill for our trouble! If you haven't been to Le peep for brunch you're missing out. Locally owned Le Peep is a fantastic breakfast brunch and lunch place. My husband loves to get eggs Benedict and I love to get the egg ham and cheese sandwich on a croissant with fresh fruit on the side. Sometimes I'll splurge and get French toast but on this particular day I had the breakfast sandwich. It's always more than what I can finish so I end up having a lunch about three hours later. The restaurant is typically busy so go and plan to wait about 15 minutes for a table if you go during rush hour. It is worth the wait though! read more

Went to Le Peep for brunch with my family after a rough morning. We were well taken care of by Samantha who checked on us regularly and made sure our drinks were never empty. This place is in a spot that doesn't seem like a restaurant but more like a store so or industrial feel. The food was good it is geared toward being healthy so no hearty heavy country style here although you can get things like pancakes and biscuits and gravy it will just be on the lighter side but still very tasty. The breakfast items my husband and I ordered were fine (average) - what was not fine was the service. When we were provided our bill, we asked for a small box to take leftovers. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I went ahead and paid the bill (and tipped well). When I came back to the table, the box still hadn't arrived, but I noticed the manager chatting with a couple at a nearby table (maybe 5 feet away). Rather than sit down, I opted to remain standing so as to draw the attention of either our server or the manager. To no avail. I ended up at the coffee bar - where a different server asked if there was anything I needed (yes, a small box - to which he indicated no problem, I will get it). My last visit: The Monte Cristo Crepes were very good according to my 10 year old granddaughter. My trout was so burnt it was black all around the edges, and so dry it was inedible. The female manager came over, apologized, and said the server should have never brought it to the table - and brought me a 2nd one which was much, much better. Per my husband, the hamburger was dry and tasteless. The male manager came over and was a total JERK about the burger. Said when ordering lunch for breakfast, that could sometimes happen. It was 11 am! The staff is a revolving door due to the poor management style. He has a pious manner and I have heard him berate the staff in the middle of a busy service - not cool, dude. Compliment in public, reprimand in private. And leave the religious music for after hours. He is argumentative to the customers or dismisses them by saying they should talk to their server. C'mon. Normally I don't do a review on a Restaurant on only one visit! But I will make an exception for this place. It's dialed in! The restaurant spotless and clutter free! This might sound weird but I really like the art work on the walls. The service was calming. Everyone freindly and very happy to give recommendations on what to try. I really like it when a waitress says things like "my favorite thing to eat here is" or " you must try this it's so good". If your looking for a greasy spoon this is not the place. This is more quality than quantity. My breakfast was very good. I wanted to try something a bit different so I went with the Eggs Benedict which was highly recommended. Normally not a huge fan of hollandaise sauce because of other bad experiences. But I will tell you it's the best I've ever had and would put it on everything! I would order it as a soup it's that good! The only complaint would be I could of eaten a bit more... But my wife says I need to cut back some anyway so it was perfect! The best breakfast in Boise. I travel to Boise frequently and have been looking for a go to place with all of the usual items (plus a few more) and reasonable prices. With the opening of Le Peep I have finally found it. Great omelet cooked perfectly (not easy to do with an egg white omelet) and fluffy pancakes. I have not tried everything, but I will be back. came in for lunch with my mom. the place is very big and bright and open inside. lots of tables and half-booths. our server was really nice and attentive. they bring you carafes of lemon water and iced tea (if you order it) so you're never without a beverage, which is awesome. why don't more places do that? we both ordered from the lunch menu, even though this place is primarily a breakfast spot. I will have to review it again when I come back for breakfast. I ordered the pablano chicken soup and side salad with greek honey dressing. the salad was so tasty- loved the dressing! it had cucumber, avocado, red onion, tomato, croutons, and romaine. it was all very fresh. the soup was really yummy- it had corn, black beans, chicken, and it was a little spicy. my only complaint was it was not super hot. that was disappointing. my mom got the grilled cheese with tomato soup. the soup was THICK. it had really great flavor though! the sandwich looked okay- i'm not a huge grilled cheese person so I didn't try it. I look forward to trying this place again, it's a cute little spot. I would say go for breakfast though! read more

Review update! What a difference a few months makes ! The place was packed on a Saturday morning. The hostesses did a great job, we only had about a ten minute wait for our table, and when seated we were greeted by our waiter and offered drinks promptly! Yay!! Much better! Whole experience went smooth this time. Our waiter was friendly and on point, food came out warm, correct, and all at the same time. All 5 of us each ordered an 18 wheeler(awesome deal for $9ish bucks) and ate it with no complaints! Love their regular French toast. This is a very solid West Boise breakfast spot. If I'd have written this review a couple of years ago I wouldn't have been as kind but they've really upped their game over the last couple of years. The food here is staple American breakfast food. Eggs, bacon, sausage, pancake, toast, etc. But, they do it all very well. Eggs are always cooked the way you like them, the coffee is fresh and they even leave a pot behind so you don't have to wait for your refill. They also have a very nice seasonal menu full of great foods. The pancakes here are very good, definitely worth ordering and my daughter likes their waffle as well. I'm not a fan of their home fries, they are always a bit chewy and tough for my liking. The staff here is top notch, they are always friendly, remember you and really try to provide a great experience (one of the things that has really improved over the past couple of years). I often go here alone and sit at the bar and the service is every bit as good at the bar as anywhere in the restaurant. Le Peep is a great place for breakfast meetings as well as Sunday brunch. I need to try it for lunch but always end up there for breakfast. I'll update my review when I finally get around to lunch. read more

Just had the tri-tip breakfast burrito and it was the best breakfast I have ever had. When you order a diet coke they bring you a big pitcher so you never run out. So good. I got a pitcher of (assume ) filtered ice water, that's nice instead of the chlorinated water you usually get. I had a late and the Rock Lobster Scrambler, both excellent choices. I really don't know why we don't visit Le Peep more often, but we love this place! The food is good: nothing overly processed like chain breakfast joints, and the meats and eggs are always fresh. I've had pancakes, omelettes, crepes, French toast, eggs and bacon, etc. here, and I've never had complaints about the food, the quality, or its preparation. I didn't have high hopes for this place but since it was so packed I assumed maybe it would be decent. We waited over 25 minutes for our food which would've been fine except our waitress literally ignored our existence other than taking our order and giving us our check. Didn't check in even once, looked over at us multiple times and checked on all her other tables around us but would just keep walking. My boyfriend never got his OJ which isn't a big deal but had she checked on us we could've asked for it a 2nd time. The food was mediocre- we both ordered an eggs Benedict. Awkwardly enough a manager came to check on us at the same time as the waitress finally brought our check and I just didn't have it in me to answer honestly when he asked how she was doing in front of her. I worked at and managed restaurants up until Covid hit last year and I was honestly cringing at the lack of service.
