We said something to the manager and the manager was tweaking out, high as hell. All she said was "I'm so sorry" and our food didn't come out for another 10 minutes. Food wasn't up to par, my meal wasn't correct at all. They had to take it back and correct it so I had to wait while the rest of my group ate. Came here for lunch today, ordered the Belgian Waffle meal, and it was very delicious! We were seated immediately, and the service was overall very great. My only complaints are that they were out of crepes when I came (understandable, it was late, but still disappointing), they forgot a part of my meal, and there was a fly bothering us. I was pretty disappointed today. I have been wanting to try this restaurant out for awhile. Finally had the opportunity for breakfast. The restaurant was full but not over busy. We waited maybe 2 minutes for a table. Once seated it took several minutes for the waitress to come over to get out drink order. These days I try not to comment on the service since everyone is short staffed and overworked. My review stars are not because of the service at this restaurant. The waitress was pleasant and took our order. She did seem busy and never came back to fill our water pitcher or glasses. We got our food in a timely manner but my order was incorrect, I was given home-fries instead of regular hashbrowns- which isn't the end of the world but they were barely warm and my English muffins under my benedict did not even seem toasted. The taste of the food was good, just could have been warmer. My daughters chiro french toast sticks were cold enough that the cream cheese would not even melt on them. Again we were not checked on after our meal was served. We did have a good mocha drink and the staff was friendly. Not sure I will give this place another try. read more

Recently Mr. Euro and I stopped here after an appointment. When we walked in we were amazed by how open the area was and how lively it was. We ordered an orange juice to shard which was more than enough, they give you options on how much you want. Mr. Euro ordered a scramble and I ordered my usual, the chicken fried steak. He cleared his plate. Absolutely loved it. I liked mine, although I'm used to chicken fried steak not coming in bulk from a box. If they could learn how to make their chicken fried steak from scratch it would be ten times better. The store bought taste doesn't cut it anymore. Other than that, it was a great experience. Service was kind and efficient. Prices weren't bad either. I would definitely give it another shot. read more

Snuck in for a lovely breakfast. It was a delicious breakfast with normal menu items to select from. I ordered a pumpkin latte with almond milk and it was great. I recommend calling ahead to add your name to cut down on wait time at the restaurant. Otherwise the wait can be pretty long. Which is why we haven't been there yet. Great atmosphere and nice staff. If you're looking for a Bloody Mary/mimosa-style brunch, just don't. This is not the place for you. Both beverages are more tomato juice/orange juice with a hefty price tag attached, but I'm going to set that aside and review the food and service for now. They have quite a big selection of savory/sweet options, which was nice. I was in the mood for sweet and ordered the Monte Cristo crepes. My partner ordered the lumberjack breakfast, complete with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes. The wait time to be seated plus the wait for our food was a bit on the ridiculous side, but we didn't have anything pressing, so we waited, and waited, and waited. When the food came out, mine was pretty good. The crepes were assembled like a traditional Monte Cristo sandwich. I had to pick through the potatoes on the side, though, to avoid excessive crunch, and the garlic breadstick was completely unnecessary and went untouched. Half of my partner's dish was served at the same time. He started eating while waiting on the pancakes to be delivered. He described it as just "okay," but had the same issues with undercooked potatoes. The chocolate chip pancake was dropped off once we were pretty much done. He took a few bites, but the "short stack" was literally larger than his head. Seemed like kind of a waste. Overall, the extensive menu may work for families with a range of tastes, but the atmosphere and food quality weren't a match for ours. read more

The food was ok. Nothing spectacular. What was spectacular though, was that the waitress noticed my Star of David necklace and was kind enough to delicately ask if I keep kosher. This is a great brunch spot! I have been a few times and every time it is a great experience. They are always busy but luckily you can call and reserve a seat before you head over. They also take your number and text you where you are in line and give an estimated wait time. They have mimosas that are pretty good. They also have an espresso machine that makes some specialty coffees. I have had quite a few of the breakfast foods and they have all been good. The breakfast enchiladas are to die for. Everyone who works here is very attentive and friendly. Our waitress was very attentive and took extra care of the little one we had with us. The price you pay for the small portions is not worth the effort of waiting in line for this place. I'm pretty sure my potatoes were either from one small red potato or they cut and plate a quarter of one regular size one. I don't normally complain about portions but it was the $10-$14 you pay for those portions. They are trying to make up for the location cost of the rent I guess. Le Peep was a bit of a surprise. Decided for some brunch after checking out some of the other businesses on the block and settled on LePeep. From the outside it looks as if it will have a smaller layout and a ambiguity to it that is interesting. The inside is clean and has a very "corporate" feel to it. I'm not sure if it's a chain or locally owned, but it runs like a larger company. The food was very generous on portion size and price. Ordered a breakfast burrito which was massive and a side Belgium Waffle. I thought the burrito would be smaller so the double order was fine. Let me tell you it was massive and full of flavor. I have eaten here on several occasions and have consistently had the same quality of food and service. First off...everyone is always so friendly and accommodating. Two thumbs up for the family that owns this business. Every time I have come, the husband is happily running the front end while his wife ( the owner) is taking care of the back of the house. It is honestly one of the only places in town that I feel there is actual, real options to choose from and not a list of items off the main menu with half the ingredients omitted. I ate here when they first opened and was a victim of their over salted cottage potatoes. That was enough to keep me away until recently. What is that.? Two years? I may not be Italian, but I can hold a grudge with the best of them. Anyway, was lured back in by my wife and must say I was pleasantly surprised. The place is always clean with smiling servers. Widely spaced regular height tables means easy access to anyone. You might want to think twice about weekends, really crowded. It's popularity seems high. Weekdays are much calmer. Outside dining is available weather permitting. But, we are not much for road noise, brake dust, and gawkers, so we usually opt for inside dining. This is a breakfast-lunch place, I assume everyone knows. First, the food is straight forward and tasty. The cottage potatoes are still too salty for me. But they have a great solution, for me at least, shredded hash browns. They are not mentioned on the menu, but they have them. So an order of crispy, shredded hash browns, no salt, and I don't go postal. This is also one place I have found to have an acceptable chicken fried steak that is not too greasy and will let me have the gravy on the side. Also not too big or too small and for $8.99 with two eggs, hash browns, and toast, that is a bargain. Their waffles, however, need to be done a bit longer, for crispy. Also, their fresh fruit for sides, is not up to the quality of Moe Joe's. Ask for the dark coffee, if you like that strength. They leave a caraf on the table, so you can caffeinate to your own state of nirvana. Went this am with the family...very inviting staff, clean interior (yes I know it's brand new but still) and plenty of space for seating. Staff was very attentive and took drink orders within a few minutes of sitting down. Bfast orders were a few minutes after that. We ordered a variety if items...mostly your standard bfast fare. All of the food came out within 15 mins prolly. Everything was well executed, fresh and hot! Huge portions as well...don't think any of us actually finished but would have if we wanted to be totally stuffed! Pros: They had three different coffee roasts to choose from, the staff was friendly, the food was hot, and the prices on the menu were very reasonable. Also, they had a big screen TV playing NFL which was great! Cons: They made us wait for a table for ten minutes even though there were at least 4 tables open within eyesight (not sure if this was some policy or another reason they did this), the skillet I ordered was pretty decent tasting but consisted of about 40% broccoli which seemed like an odd food to include in a breakfast skillet, we never received drinking water, and I was hoping to get some coffee creamer (because I saw the awesome selection they had at various other tables) but the waitress was too busy. I will say that this place was packed during the time I visited and that excuses a bit of the lack of service, but as for the food, not good enough to return for me. read more

In all fairness to new restaurants just starting out, we gave Le Peep a 2nd shot after a blah first attempt... and sadly, we were even more disappointed this time. 1st attempt: Breakfast burrito was filled with badly undercooked potatoes and flavorless chunks of meat. Coffee was bad and service was super slow. 2nd attempt: faster service, better coffee, and then... an order of crepes arrived at our table with a long black (they are always black, aren't they? Never red, never blonde) hair curled on top of the hollandaise sauce (the server didn't notice?!?). The kicker: we didn't order crepes with hollandaise. (Or hair for that matter.) The server seemed super unapologetic (and almost as if he wasn't surprised that he put the order in wrong) but he got the right order brought out quickly. The "right" order, however, had: 1) potatoes that were again badly undercooked, 2) bacon and omelette fillings that are all very obviously pre-processed and not fresh tasting at all, and 3) burnt toast with no butter. There are a lot of above average breakfast places in the area, and we will give them our business instead of visiting Le Peep again. From the otherwise oddly good reviews, I'm sure we won't be missed. read more

I know everyone in Boise always says they love local restaurants but they really vote with their feet and end up a chain restaurants because they are consistent. I like joe momma but they argue with their customers. Steve's cafe down the street boast of game meat but can't properly execute basic bacon and eggs. This one will be a winner! read more
