They're on the corner of Kapahulu and Paliuli Street, with valet parking for $7. The interior decor and atmosphere was "interesting", fairly dark and intimate (deep purples and gold), but with some high energy music playing over the speakers; I'd have expected a disco ball to be shining over the bar, lol. Also, while seated at the corner of the bar, a little roach crawled down the side (I tried to catch it, but failed). They are a Steakhouse, so do offer several high-end cuts and preparations. One of them was their "steak coulotte", which is about 6oz of Picanha steak, served with a sizzling hot plate that you cook the meat yourself to your liking. A bit "gimmicky", since after a few minutes, the plate cools down, so searing the steak is more of a challenge. We ordered a couple of beers to start, which took a while to arrive, since their draft beer lines behind the bar were broken (we were told for months), so our bartender had to run outside the bldg and upstairs in order or fill our order. After the first beer, I opted for a glass of wine. Their HH pour was a Mondavi red Cab blend, which was pretty nice, but it was served at their room temperature, which felt like mid to high 70's (the a/c could use some help). On the second glass, we asked if they could chill it a bit, so they ended up pouring it over ice, then into the glass. Not only was it a bit too cold that way, but also a little watered down now. The food itself was pretty good; having tried the shrimp toast, the poke, and the bacon wrapped scallops. Portion size was a bit small (only 2 scallops for $22), but the taste and prep was fine. Overall, it seems like a pretty nice place for an intimate dinner, offering a nice menu and good service, but they do need help with the atmosphere (air con, wine fridge, music, and perhaps cleanliness), to really bring the level up.

Here for just a limited time (until the end of May) it's a unique and lovely spot to hangout and dine with such a beautiful vibe I was delighted when Terry K had taken myself and Donna O for a girls night and we started by toasting to a glass of Virgin Pink Ryu for us and wine for Terry as though it wasn't my first time it's always a stunning setting to take in and enjoy. No bento this year but a wonderful bougie selection of bites including Yakitori which was grilled and flavored wonderfully wrapped in chicken skin was tender and very easy to enjoy along with a single yakinigiri a comfort item I've grown up enjoying was nice and crisp with that shoyu glaze giving it that crust to hold it all in. Sando Trio is fun with half slices of egg salad, tonkatsu and grilled Wagyu steak between Japanese shokupan that fluffy bread was delicate and soft though sharing it was the most difficult situation we made it work and it thoroughly enjoyed each one. The final item was the "Golden Week Special" and it was the Miyazaki A5 Wagyu Nigiri which is torched table side and topped with gold dust was the bougie bite that was beyond glorious which made me feel giggly as I didn't expect that at all what a nice surprise! Though all foods was very nice and delicious some items are not easily shareable and because it's a pop up they don't have all items on hand as it was more like a picnic style and service was nice and friendly and the food came out efficiently it was the company that made the night beyond enjoyable and memorable. Parking is free for 2 1/2 hours and it's $7 per hour after that but is totally worth the experience and recommended as you still have time to dine under the Sakura Tree before Springtime has ended. By the time we finished the legs and oysters we were half way full. The legs are a whole pound had tons of meat. Then we were served the main dishes, my wife got some sort of fish with a miso type of broth and vegetables which was not only filled with flavor but really nice and soft. I got the wagyu ribeye for myself and it didn't disappoint. It didn't help that I was already half way full when I got it but it was sooo good. It went so well with the sautéed brussel sprouts and baked potatoes we got on the side. By this time we couldn't even finish our food but we still had dessert coming. I forgot what it was but you can see for yourself in the picture. It was like a warm, soft chocolate cake with chocolate fudge in the middle with some vanilla ice cream to cool it down and when you bite into it, it just explodes with flavor. So so good. Lastly, Darren our waiter was so attentive and was very detailed with his description of the foods themselves and just went above and beyond with serving us. His gestures were hugely appreciated by both of us and I would definitely recommend him to anyone going to eat at this place. The sides: Bacon Mac & Cheese ($14.50), Baked Potato ($9.50), Mashed Potatoes ($12.50), and Creamed Spinach ($13.50). The mac & cheese and creamed spinach tasted overly salty. For our anniversary, they gave us a gelato but we also ordered a Bread Pudding A La Mode ($13.50). Overall it was ok. For a Thurday night it wasnt packed but was crowded. I upgraded my Salad, my parents upgraded their steaks to ribeyes but I kept my choice of Petite filet with shrimp. My Husband ordered the ala carte Lamb which he said was one of the best he's ever tasted. All of the Employees that came in contact with our table acknowledged our occasion. The regular price for the buffet is $27.50. What a deal! Where else can you find a buffet UNDER $30?? No where else! Kids $16.50. Senior/Military/Airlines is $24.75. On certain holidays, Cafe 410 offers a special brunch buffet. We went on Mother's Day. $85/person, $40 for keiki (6-11). Being a keiki at heart doesn't count :(. A very good deal with other places well over $100 per person. It might not be as expansive as other places, but still had Prime Rib, Snow Crab Legs, Roasted Pork Loin, Misoyaki Butterfish, Omelette Station, and etc. The inside is open and spacious, clean and organized.
