Cafe 410 at the Ala Moana Hotel offers a delightful breakfast experience with a wide variety of all-you-can-eat options, including savory bacon, eggs, hamburger steak with gravy, fried and white rice, French toast, fresh fruits, bread, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, and refreshing juices, making it an excellent spot to start your day. The cozy ambiance and convenient hours from 6:30am to 10:00am (and until 10:30am on Saturdays) make it a perfect morning stop, although the service is generally okay. Overall, Cafe 410 provides a satisfying breakfast buffet in a pleasant setting, ideal for guests looking to enjoy a hearty and diverse breakfast before heading out to explore Oahu. Price was $27.50 for adults before tax.

    this is Heavenly

My husband's idea to eat breakfast buffet due to lower price considering inflation on O'ahu food prices. None to the following available or offered: eggs benedict, omelet station, prime rib station, crab or lobster station. Customer service for host/hostess and servers are on par. However, kitchen staff have difficulty replenishing hot and cold items to keep up with locals and tourists feasting in a timely manner. Casual ambience. Chairs, tables and interior could use an upgrade considering location is on the property of Ala Moana Honolulu by Mantra. Noteworthy items: Cinnamon French toast with coconut syrup Halloumi Vegetable Quiche Scrambled eggs tasted fresh and served in oval chaffing dish. Local Style Fried Rice: My husband's favorite. Yes to garlic taste and diced Portuguese sausage. No to too much butter taste. Miso soup: Tasted delicious with seaweed, fresh tofu and green onions. Temperature wasn't hot. Stop here if you're looking for last minute breakfast buffet $25 per person and half that price for kids 11 years and under. 15% off military discount offered when presented with valid photo ID. Walk ins accepted.

Breakfast buffet in Honolulu, Hawaii... Located at the Ala Moana Hotel, Cafe 410 used to be known as Plantation Cafe. All of the old reviews stayed with the location... even with the name change. Cafe 410 got its current name from its address: 410 Atkinson Drive. It's located on the ground level, right outside of the hotel lobby - on the right side of the valet area. Inside, the waiting area was a bit crowded with tourists who stay at this hotel - because it seems like they receive a breakfast buffet with their room. Eventually, we were seated way in the back with a view of the garden. The variety of breakfast items was quite impressive. I focused on the fresh fruits: watermelon, honeydew, cantaloupe, pineapple, oranges, and grapes were sweet! I also liked the caprese salad and spinach/cranberry salad. The bacon, scrambled eggs, fried rice, Portuguese sausage, oatmeal, and Hamburger Steak were all filling. I didn't get a chance to try some of the other items such as cold cereal and miso soup because I just couldn't eat any more. (I did drink some POG [passion orange Guava] juice from the beverage station.) Service was local-style welcoming! Staff were not rushing us to leave even though they were closed already. The workers sure hustled and cleaned up all of the used dishes and utensils! This was a fun experience! Thanks to Donna O. for another good idea! For $24.50, plus tax and tip, it was worth it!

Great variety of food choices for breakfast even hamburger steak. Only thing missing was a waffle station and made to order omelette station but the overall vibe, interior decor more than made up for that. Our table attendant was super attentive always with a genuine bright smile and so very quick and efficient. Every server and the older Caucasian lady up front should be as welcoming and friendly, Enjoyed the fruits most of all- papaya, honey dew, cantaloupe, grapes and watermelon. Pineapple looked light in color so I skipped them. Besides all the hot items there was also miso soup and oatmeal with condiments. If I was hungrier I would have perhaps tried them, If you are in search for a breakfast place you might venture here. It's off the lobby by the valet station.

I wanted to try this place for awhile, since during covid, the restaurant was not opened. It's so nice to have the breakfast buffet again and it's under new name 410 Cafe. It's located just outside the lobby by the valet of the Ala Moana Hotel. They are opened for breakfast only and closes at 10am or 10:30 am on the weekends. It seems like most of the diners were their hotel guests and they open at 6am. Maybe their meals are included with their rooms. It's a nice breakfast buffet for $24.50 for adults and it included my coffee and the 4 juices on the breakfast buffet. You can spend just as much for breakfast at other places! Just have to dine early and if you park at Ala Moana Shopping Center, you suppose to pay per sign posted by the walkover bridge. Perhaps best not to park near the hotel or make it obvious. Great breakfast selection. This is what we had for that Sunday. Buffet: Fruits of variety melons , pineapple, Oranges slices & grapes Cereal: dry cereals (2) & oatmeal Miso soup French Toast Pastries (freshly baked butter croissant and muffins) Bagel and sliced bread Spinach & Caprese salad 4 types of juices Meats: Portuguese sausage, chicken sausage, bacons Halloumi (toasted bread pieces with tomato and Cheese (Halloumi) Scrambled Eggs Rice, potatoes, and fried rice! Coffee & tea Items on the menu may subject to change. I really like the selection here and the price. I Just have to go early to dine here.

First time I've ate at cafe 410 restaurant and served is awesome and I would rank this restaurant a 100 percent in food service. And the atmosphere is amazing and very friendly and welcoming too!!!

    Beautiful views here.

This is a wonderful breakfast buffet and I'm told it's a favorite of the locals as well. The food selection is very good and they have a ton of of breakfast meats, fruit items and plenty of breads and pastries in addition to the usual items such as scrambled eggs, French toast and juice options. The fried rice here is awesome and I wouldn't have ever thought about eating that for breakfast but it's a must have staple here. One missing for me is that I'd love to see pancake and/or waffle options as well as an omelette station, but I've never come up short on finding an overflowing plateful of delicious food (or two). The buffet is around $24.99 at the current time and for its selection, it's a good deal in Beautiful Hawaii. My favorite place to sit is a window table, so if you want one get there early and ask for one. It can be rather busy after 9am so get there early or plan to wait 5 to 15 minutes for a table. Enjoy!

We were staying in at the hotel during the Honolulu Marathon weekend and decided to have breakfast here before checking out. It is a buffet style breakfast, which was $24.50 per adult. Personally speaking, for what they've got offered, you should go have breakfast somewhere else. It's very basic - scrambled eggs, bacon, 2 choices of cereal, fruits, juice, etc. You could definitely do better for this price, and you'll feel happier. Go to the neighboring Ala Moana mall. Otherwise, please eat your money's worth of eggs, meats, and fruits. The decor is really nice outside and looks very modern. When you get inside, it feels/ looks like an outdated restaurant from the early 90s. Just doesn't match. It's like click bait. Food wasn't terrible - it tasted like you'd expect, and service was good, so I'll go with the 3-stars. I'll still go somewhere else next time though.

Hot coffee and nice cold juices. Ice water with ice.

First of all we were serviced by a wonderful waitress who was very friendly and on top of things. I saw that they replenish the food right away when they got low. Food was excellent and so fresh. Variety of good and healthy food. Very clean and great atmosphere. I love the fried rice and miso soup. And the chia pudding is a must. Over all I give Cafe 410 a 5 star. I recommend this place for a breakfast gathering. Definitely coming back!!! It's worth it.

A few moms were looking for a breakfast spot to gather at with a central location, ample parking, and food options for everyone.....all of us were so pleased to stumble upon this breakfast spot!! Each adult is $24.50, senior citizen receive 15% off, hmm, I don't remember how much for children. We were greeted at the door and were asked if we were hotel guest. That made me think of all the family hotels I have used that provided free breakfast so this must of been created for that concept. I'm thankful they allow non-guest to purchase breakfast! As you can see by all of my pictures, there was a great selection! We were shown our table and introduced to iur server who asked if we wanted coffee and water. These were ready at our table when we came back with our plates of food. I enjoyed the fruit selection , the toast and croissant were great especially if you quickly warmed it up in that toaster. I really liked their local fried rice! Oh, who am I kidding, we enjoyed it all w a gazillion coffee refills! Heehee Hmmm, we got there after dropping our kids off to school and stayed until 10 am when they closed! And we plan on doing this monthly!! Ha! *pls don't park at ala moana mall or else you will get a parking ticket! The mall does not open until later so one mom got a ticket...boo to our wonderful positive gathering!

He described everything with such care that it was hard not to order everything! I'd highly recommend a reservation as there was not an empty table the entire two hours we were there. The restaurant is on the smaller side so it can get quite loud but our table had great conversations and a overall lovely time. Appetizer: We ordered the konpachi hush puppies (apologies, they had a nicer name but this is how they were described to us) and they were delicious! I'm not a lover of fish, but these were so flavorful and the sauce paired perfectly with it. Drinks: I had the meringue di cedri to drink and it was akin to a lemon drop (10/10) it was sippable and lasted my whole meal. Husband had the Hana Koa Rice Breaker, which is one of his favorites as its smooth and pairs well with honestly anything. Entree: You will be missing out if you don't get the lemon risotto. I ordered it with the prosciutto and it may be one of the best meals I've had in Hawaii. The zucchini is done two ways in it: diced to be mixed in with the risotto and thinly sliced and grilled on top of the risotto. The panko crumbs on top really solidified the plate for me as top tier as risotto can get to be boring to eat after a few bites as they can lack texture, but not this risotto! Every bite was a journey and it was a very filling meal. My husband ordered the Korean steak and said it was better than some of the local steakhouses we had gone to. Our friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and enjoyed it as well. Dessert: We were encouraged to try the Rocky Road ice cream and decided it was a must have when you visit. It was creamy, rich and delectable. We also opted to try the dessert special of the evening which was a Lilikoi cheesecake with a chocolate mousse. The cheesecake had a sour tang to it and the chocolate mousse partner with it to balance it out so it wasn't overly sweet. We loved it and I know in a few days we'll be craving this meal all over again!

France meets Italy - meets Hawaii. I'm still dreaming of this. The burger features a thick, juicy, 8-ounce grass-fed patty made from a custom house-selected blend of short rib, chuck roast, and brisket. Get it with the crispy potatoes. You will thank me. Risotto on point. Luxuriously rich, creamy texture. The rice retains a slight al dente bite in the center, giving it structure rather than letting it become mushy. Prosciutto adds a perfect salty, savory crunch to break up the rich risotto. The only misstep was the fries served with the quinoa burger. They were chalky, served at room temperature, limp, and underseasoned. Excellent friendly informal service. Park at the municipal parking on Bethel St just 1/2 block away. Happy Eating!!

The smoked octopus was sliced in pieces that were too thick and a little too chewy and the andouille sausage and black pepper overpowered the dish. Ordered the bourbon and bone marrow mostly for the presentation. It was WAAAY too rich and needed more bread to go with it. They should've served it with bread that wasn't buttered because the buttered bread even though tasty by itself was just too rich in combination with all of that bone marrow. The dish needed more balance. The ice cream sundae was unremarkable. Would have preferred it served with a choice of hot fudge or the caramel drizzle and since it was plain vanilla ice cream they could've drizzled a lot more caramel over it. The waitress did bring us more nuts when we asked, but they were busy at the time and she was the only server so it took her a while to get to us, and the ice cream was pretty melted by the time she delivered. We got there when they opened at 5 PM and they had two servers at that time. The place wasn't busy so it seemed like they had enough help for the amount of tables that were being seated. An hour and a half later, though, one server was missing (possibly taking a lunch break) and the only server remaining at several big parties to take care of which slowed down her responsiveness to the other smaller tables like ours. The music playing in the background seemed to fit the environment and was pleasant to listen to. It's a pretty casual atmosphere. The prices for what you get are a bit on the high end. Probably wouldn't go back unless someone else is paying. We didn't feel too bad this time because we had a gift certificate which covered most of our bill. Maybe we were choosing all the wrong items and should have just stuck to ordering meat dishes, which they might be better at making (with a name like Livestock). You'll have to check this place out yourself and see if they do a better job with meat and if the prices for those dishes are more reasonable. I gave this place four stars instead of three because the servers were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was mostly okay (tasty enough and filling).

I'd never been to their other locations, so this was my first experience -- and honestly, it left an impression. That spot in Kapolei has seen a few restaurants come and go over the years. Before Scratch Kitchen, there was Sugar Cane, and if I reach far enough back, I'm pretty sure a Mexican restaurant lived there too. It's one of those spaces where you hope the next place finally sticks. But the food at Scratch Kitchen? Absolutely delicious. The kind of meal where the pictures alone make your mouth water. If "smell‑a‑vision" or "lick‑your‑screen" technology existed, everyone would understand exactly what I mean. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully done, and perfect for a Mother's Day treat. Which is why I can't help but wonder what happened -- like so many restaurants before them in that same location. With food that good, you'd hope they'd be the ones to break the cycle. All in all, I'm grateful I got to enjoy that meal with my daughter. It was memorable, delicious, and one of those small moments you hold onto. Marie

Either way, it made for a super relaxed experience with no wait and plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the food. Loved: The street tacos with the tempura shrimp were easily the star of the meal. 100% worth it. Light, crispy shrimp with a flavorful slaw and just the right amount of heat--basically a flavor party in every bite. The burger was another quiet star. Juicy patties, nicely seasoned, and stacked just right. Nothing super flashy, but really satisfying. Definitely a good pick if you're not in the mood for brunchy stuff. The Miss: Tried the French toast and... meh. It looked great on the plate but tasted dry and definitely didn't live up to the level of the other dishes. Might've just been an off day or a matter of personal taste, but I'd skip it next time.

I know this is a revered institution, but our visit just wasn't very good. We went for breakfast:…read morethe pancakes were good, but the American Breakfast wasn't, and the potatoes were undercooked with a flavor that was almost too earthy. The pastries were just okay; we tried a few cake slices that were fine but unremarkable. The cinnamon roll was dry and hard, the malasadas were forgettable, and the haupia-filled malasada was surprisingly tart. It's possible some ingredients were locally sourced and just unfamiliar to our mainland palates, or maybe we simply caught them on an off day. The servers were curt but friendly, likely because the place was packed with tourists.

It was so sad this business is closing down by Oct 31st. With rising food costs, inflation and…read morestaffing, it's understandable but I wish best endeavors for Chef Jason Peel and his staff. My fiance won a gift card actually 2 of them (from his coworker whom could not get a reservation secured), we knew we had to make the trip over before they officially close. We had multiple dishes, but staff made Kauai prawns and tomato miso black cod dishes on the house since they ran out the Hokkaido scallops. We ordered the short ribs, lobster appetizer, hamachi crudo and lastly sashimi moriawase to finish food palate. Lukki lemon dessert was great way to end to night. Ordered the Milk tea bouquet cocktail while my better half had water ( either way the food coma knock him out cold the rest of the night lol). To be honest, it was difficult to determine which dish was the best because the staff kept quality there despite it being busy every night since they announce the closure. Sashimi moriawase, fish was so fresh, reminded me of my time spent in Hokkaido and Sapporo. Short ribs was soft and rich in flavor. Both me and my fiance liked the lukki lemon dessert, like lemon meringue pie but broken down version. If you have a chance to dine here before closing and got a reservation, definitely will have a lovely dining experience and your stomach will be full by end of the night.

We had leftovers for breakfast the next day! - For appetizers we got: Ulu Tots, Japanese Eggplant, and Corn Beignets. The Corn Beignets was the best. - For entree we got: Tomato Miso Black Cod and the Short Rib. Both were delicious and worth a try. Sad to see that this restaurant appears to be closing.
