We both ordered the ribeye steak, mashed potato, asparagus and fried rice. Both ribeye steaks were cooked to the exact doneness. The size of the ribeye steak was pretty big. Luckily I was very hungry so I finished my steak. The asparagus was very delicious and the mashed potato was very delicious too. Our server, Elijah did an excellent job answering any questions and was very attentive to what we ordered. When the meals came in. He even asked to double check the doneness of the steak by cutting it right down the middle and it was cooked to perfection. I don't remember the last time I went to a steak restaurant other than my birthday, so it's very rare to go to a restaurant and order steak. So this was a large treat to me. I like that there is a dedicated parking lot for the restaurant in addition to valet parking. When we first walked in, the place appears to be fine dining however there is no dress code. The service was extremely attentive and personable. The food arrived fairly quickly. We were first served dinner rolls with butter and the escargot arrived shortly after. It was made with a garlic oil which gave a delicious aroma which went well with the mini toast. We had ordered the Rack of Lamb, Panko Roasted Chicken, T-bone Steak, Miso Butterfish accompanied by Mashed potatoes,Sauteed mushrooms, Creamed Spinach, and Asparagus. The Rack of Lamb was cooked to perfection and seasoning was so Ono! The Panko Crusted Chicken was the star as the breast was extremely moist and tender. I would order that over and over again. The steak was also cooked well for medium although that was not my entree. I ordered the Miso Butterfish which was cooked well however it was way too sweet. This visit we came for a late Father's Day celebration. Of course we all ordered steak since this is a steakhouse! We made reservations and we're probably seated at 5 PM. Since we were here early, restaurant was not very crowded at that time, but did fill up pretty good while we were there. One thing that I don't like about Little Joe's steakhouse is that they have the music playing very loudly that it makes it difficult to have conversations over dinner and even give your order to your server. We ordered the filet mignon, ribeye steak, chicken tenders and had sides of potatoes au gratin, sautéed mushrooms, grilled asparagus, fried rice with steak, and garlic fries. The food is consistently good, but I was disappointed in my steak as I ordered the ribeye to be cooked medium, but the steak I received was well done. It was still tasty, but definitely overcooked. My dad ordered the filet mignon medium but it came back rare. This surprised me, because in the past, they've cooked their steaks consistently to order, but cooking a good steak to well done is a definite, no no. This is my second time coming to this place. I know people have raved about this steakhouse and as a pescatarian I am reviewing it as such. First and foremost the second time around I came for the Mr.'s birthday who is a carnivore. We came on a Tuesday at 6 PM for reference. The place was already pretty busy. He had the New York strip and said it was perfectly cooked and he is very particular on how his meat is done. His only complaint was that the plate itself was super hot and it continued to cook the meat. I figured it was to keep the meat hot. The kid had furikake ahi which was absolutely delicious. I had the salmon and it was on the sad side. It was small in portion, looked a little "naked "for my family but tasted OK. Definitely overpriced for the portion they give you. I ordered a baked potato without bacon. The topping on that was lackluster. It was a small spoon of sour cream. I did have to ask for a knife to cut it because it was on the harder side. The kid ordered garlic fries. They look larger in the picture that I took, but they were pretty stringy, super oily, and less garlicy. We almost took them back. That was a huge disappointment for them. They only ate a few. With that being said, would I go again? Yes. But I would try for happy hour. Are they overpriced? Went for their happy hour and you cannot go wrong! The prices are great and the food is delicious. It's gets pretty busy when HH starts since it's first come, first serve. So I suggest being there before 4:30 to be sure you get a table. They have select items that are 50% off during happy hour such as the tacos and avocado toast! Everything else is still a great deal! Same for the mushrooms, deep fried, very super hot, if u bite into it when it comes to your table. So careful for no burn yo mouth from the hot oil juice in the mushrooms. Attended a business presentation in the small, enclosed conference room, which fit 20 guests, and I must say that despite the close quarters, the servers did an amazing job. Very responsive to each guest's needs, requests, and refills, all while a power point presentation and speaker conducted the meeting. Not an easy feat! I dined here yesterday and was disappointed with my experience. While our waitress greeted us with a smile, her attitude seemed indifferent, and I did not feel welcome. When paying with Apple Pay, I was told to follow her to the register and it felt as though I was inconveniencing her for not having a physical credit card. What was even more concerning was the food. I can't believe it's taken me THIS long to check out Little Joe's Steakhouse. Their Happy Hour has been on my radar for years, but I just never took the opportunity to drop in. I FINALLY got the chance and it sure didn't disappoint. Over the years, good Happy Hours have disappeared across the island. Some establishments who had great Happy Hour deals have completely disappeared altogether. I appreciate Happy Hours that provide food specials with the drink specials. Just make sure NOT to make reservations if you want to partake in the Happy Hour as it is walk-ins only. If you make reservations, they will assume you are dining in and you won't be allowed to order from the Happy Hour menu. The list is extensive for Little Joe's Happy Hour menu. We ordered: - Steak tips with mushrooms: The sauce used for this was delicious...so much so that I drizzled it on the fried rice we ordered to up it's flavor game. - Fried calamari: I really enjoyed the way they make this. Not all places create the right amount of crispiness for their fried calamari, but Little Joe's does it just right. It's also drizzled with a some sort of sweet chili sauce on top that gives it a bit of flavor. - Fish tacos - Happy Hour steak special: My friend ordered this, but we were all impressed by how it was presented. - Fried rice with steak - Bacon wrapped asparagus - Spicy Negi Toro: I really enjoyed this. My brother had ordered this and let me try some. I wish I had left more room in my stomach to eat more of it. - Smoked salmon spread: This didn't meet my excitement for it. I'd pass on it next time. My friend and my brother also ordered dessert. My friend got the upside down pineapple cake, which she said was absolutely fabulous. We're not sure if they get it from Liliha Bakery since it's right next door, but she said it's better than the one at Liliha Bakery because they warm this one up for you. My only complaint about my experience at Little Joe's was the men's restroom issue we encountered that the employees did not treat as an issue at all. There was no soap in the men's restroom. My brother reported it to the employees who just blew it off and said something about it being a battery issue. I'm not sure if it just started happening that day or if it's been ongoing, but it didn't seem like a priority to them to get soap into the restroom. This bothered us because we saw both kitchen staff and servers also using the restroom during our visit who obviously weren't using soap to wash their hands. You'd like to hope they went to the kitchen to rewash their hands properly with soap, but that's having high expectations. If the battery is an issue that can't be taken care of ASAP, then I hope they at least get a bottle of soap to leave on the counter for patrons to properly wash their hands. read more

I enjoy trying lots of things so we had the smoked salmon spread, steak tartare, dynamite scallop, wedge salad, french onion soup, boneless ribeye, creamed corn, and molten lava cake. Other than the tartare, I wasn't super impressed with the appetizers. The scallops were to sad halved scallops with a little bit of mayo and chili pepper. The wedge salad was a little watery, but the french onion soup was tasty. They asked us if we wanted the steak sliced or whole, we probably should have said whole. We ordered medium rare, and it came out on a sizzling plate. When I took a piece it was cooked to medium, by the time we finished eating our first piece it was almost medium well. The creamed corn was sweet and delicious. The lava cake, we ordered ala mode, but that comes on the side. The cake was delicious but not molten, didn't stop us from eating every bite. I was a bit worried that we weren't going to be able to take advantage of their happy hour, but we had more than enough time to order and eat. For two of us, we ordered the pupu ribeye steak, potato gratin, fried mushrooms, mac n cheese, and steak sliders. The pupu ribeye steak was my favorite - super juicy and flavorful and only $20! I also really enjoyed the potato gratin and fried mushrooms. The Mac n cheese was a little watery and the steak sliders were a bit tough, so I'd probably skip those the next time. Service was really friendly and attentive, and the food came out super quickly. There wasn't much parking during that time, but we got lucky and someone was leaving. Ordered from happy hour menu only: The rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and season with some kind of salt that made it so yummy yum yum! I would get that again. The scallops was made perfectly and Mac and cheese is the favorite of customers. I can see why. The bacon wrapped asparagus was all wrapped in bacon with a dipping sauce. I ordered the baked potatoes it was filled with bacon garlic butter sour cream and chives... so yummy!!! Negi toro and made perfectly!! The service was excellent. We had the ac blowing on us and I worried that it would make my food cold very fast and it would fast as good. The manager came out and moved the ac and it was perfect!! Stopped in for Happy Hour on a whim. There is plenty options to choose from! This location is right next a Liliha Bakery. So it's Joe's on the left and Liliha to your right when you're facing the building. But parking is something else. So i suggest car pooling or getting there early. Once you get inside the restaurant, it can be a bit dark in there so be mindful of that. We got sat at a two top high table. The chairs are pretty high, so be careful. Ended up ordering the beef tartare, scallops, and calamari. If you have a nut or sesame allergy, let the know because the scallops have black and white sesame seeds on top. And the calamari has nuts on top. Service was okay, kinda slow but the staff was friendly. read more

Dude my mouth had an orgasm when I tasted their food, it's kinda pricey but it's so good. The dark lighting also sets an amazing mood and I got engaged there. Our server was so nice and made sure our drinks never went empty. I had the lamb chops and my fiance had the ribeye, we went a few weeks ago but we will no doubt be coming back when we have the cash. It is so worth it. If you go, I also recommend the asparagus. It was cooked perfectly If I had to complain about one thing it's that we didn't get more food because it was so good. 10/10 go here if you want great food. read more

Returned for yet another wonderful meal. So, it was Father's Day and yes, it was crazy busy. But the hosts managed the reservation seating well. Our wait wasn't too long. Servers are so on it. Food came out quickly, and talk about piping hot steaks, yummy! The one downside is that it's pretty noisy, with the loud chatter and house music. You have to talk loud to hear yourself. But I guess that's a sign of everyone having a good time. We always enjoy it there. read more

Located on Nimitz Hwy west bound and the left side next to Liliha Bakery. Was invited for dinner and I had the boneless prime rib steak which was very tender and tasty. My wife had the miso butterfish which was very small and over cooked, not that flavorful and more on the dry side. We also had the fried rice with steak, which was good. The Avocado toast was tasty and the fried calamari was okay nothing special. The Lilikoi crème Bur-lee was terrific! The Pineapple upside down cake was also very good and tasty! Parking was hard to find due to 2 party going on that night. Staff and service was okay, more like a diner than a little upscale restaurant. Restroom were clean and restaurant well kept! read more

Thank you Andrew and Cindy... After a whirlwind trip to parts of China along with the Narcissus Queen Tour we took advantage by taking side trips to Hong Kong and I'm just the luckiest one ever to have connections with other with connections in a super convenient to have the most unique yet amazing experience that I've ever had and what a scenic ride that made it a dream trip. What horrible jet lag for me so thankfully the reunion dinner we had here thanks to the brilliant suggestion from Nadine C to meet and and be host this time around and what a fantastic place to gather and celebrate or just have some dinner for two or a larger group like ours and still have a nice private room to ourselves. This might be a steakhouse though it's totally not limited to steaks as they have fish and lamb as well all are ala carte but is the best way to pair up your protein and even to create your own fun combos is just superb. I had the Ribeye steak and potato au gratin and the massive steak done just puuuuuuufrectly was just a luxurious bite the vibe here is just wonderful service was always on point and we never was without an issue and with the company of others are nice and makes it a festive moments. I was long overdue in treating the wife to a nice dinner and Little Joes Steakhouse was on the top of the recommendation list. This location on Nimitz is easy to find and there is plenty of parking including valet. We were early to our reservation but seated right away. The restaurant was a little busy but the tables are nicely spaced out to give that really cozy dining atmosphere. Everything on the menu is ala carte as with any higher end steakhouse. After some debate and letting our stomachs chime in on the decision making, the wife and I decided to order the calamari and Cesar salad to start, and for our main course we shared the massive 36 oz Tomahawk steak, a pair of lobster tails and mashed potatoes. And from the very first dish to dessert that capped everything off, Little Joes is definitely BIG on taste. Every single dish was on point. Derrick our server was attentive, courteous and paced each dish out perfectly to where we were able to enjoy every single bite. The steak and lobster tails were cooked to absolute perfection. We opted to have the huge steak pre cut for us to eliminate some of the work. The mashed potatoes was a perfect side dish to compliment both main dishes. My only disappointment was that I couldn't gnaw on the bone. Too many witnesses. We ended the night with a must try chocolate soufflé and some vanilla gelato. Would we go back? Hell yeah!!!
