Fried goat, rice, plantain and salad

Found this place from a TikTok review and wanted to come try it out. Me and my husband came on a Sunday afternoon. Walked in, no customers at all. But the entire restaurant was super clean, inviting, jazz music and the art work was beautiful. Mr Ralph served us and he was very nice. We got the oxtail and fried goat. Drinks lemonade and papaya smoothies Food came out in a timely manner and hot. I must say everything was 10/10 Portions were perfect and we left full! Definitely coming back in May for Haitian flag day. This place really needs a boost of customers so go and support this amazing restaurant

10/10 - we had a phenomenal experience here! we did have trouble finding the restaurant at first, called the restaurant, and the man was more than happy to direct us through the shopping center. they played jazz music, very calm and soothing. the food was delicious, perfectly balanced. the owner even played us a song as we enjoyed our food i will definitely be returning.

    Tassot Kabrit

Absolute perfection on a plate. The owner recommended this dish and honestly didn't hype it up enough--it blew me away. One of the best meals I've had in a long time, hands down. 10/10 across the board: food, service, ambience. The food completely steals the show, just as it should. I'll 100% be back and already looking forward to trying more.

Chicken entree dish w/ plantain chips, fresh salad, rice, and some yummy Haitian chicken

This place is so awesome. I really really love the fact that we have a Haitian restaurant in Moreno Valley. The food is not only amazing but the environment and the staff were amazing. Good service. It was very clean inside and it was also displaying beautiful Haitian and African inspired artwork. It was stunning. Also the chicken Entrée was fantastic. I also got the Yuuka fries which were fire. I would definitely 10 out of 10 recommend this place fresh food and really good flavors will definitely be coming back to this beautiful place again thank you so much.

This is one of the first true Haitian cuisine spots I've tried and it's really amazing. Truly a 10/10 all around, the service, the food, and the vibes!

My first time trying Haitian cuisine. This hidden gem just opened 4 months ago. . I ordered chicken wings, delicious with special sauce, and Akra as an appetizer, which is a fried vegetable, it reminded me a little of squash but more firm texture. It's served with 1 fried plantain patty and pikliz (sort of like cole slaw but spicy & pickled, no mayo). My entree was fried goat, served with rice, plantain and small green salad garnished with grape tomatoes, sliced cucumber and juilenne carrots, and their house dressing. I ordered chicken pasta too, which was flavorful made with penned pasta, creamy sauce unlike any I've tasted. It looks like alfredo sauce but it's not. The service was very friendly and welcoming. The decor is beautiful pieces of art and jazz music playing.

mixed rice and pikliz was really good. Love the little spice to it

This is my first time trying this place and Everything was good. Pikliz was my favorite. definitely will be coming back

This is a picture of just the entree/appetizer. I thought I took more. But you can only imagine how the main course looks!!

I've been here plenty of times now and love the staff as well as the party vibe ambiance especially when watching Haiti compete in the World Cup. I have ordered multiple dishes here and everything is delicious! I've had the Griot, Oxtail, Tasso Kabrit, Pate, Bannan Cups, Djon Djon Rice (black mushroom rice), Sweet Plantains, Bannan Peze (pressed plantains) and Passion fruit juice...basically the whole menu lol. Oh and can't forget my fave the pikliz!!! I haven't been to Haiti, but the owners are from there and brought their unique spices and flavors to Los Angeles. Whether I'm getting take-out or dining in, this food definitely hits the spot!

I got an oxtail plate, with djon djon & bannan peze. It also came with a little bit of salade russe (Haitian potato salad), pikliz, and sauce. The diri djon djon was so flavorful, definitely my favorite thing on the plate. The oxtail was seasoned well and pretty tender. The pikliz was good, pretty mild so I could enjoy it all. I tried some griot and thought it could have marinated longer. The portions felt very huge. The service here is really friendly and accommodating. The food came put after not too long of a wait and it was hot. The space is cool. It looks like an old diner. There's konpa playing in the background and games like Uno & Dominos available if you want to play. We also got two Haitian beef patties to go. They're legit! Came with pikliz and another sauce I never had before, it was green with a bit of spice and tang. The main downside is the location. It was fine in the daytime, but at night I wouldn't want to be alone as a woman here. That's just me though. Parking is metered on the street ($6/hr)

They have curry, stew, jerk things and good portions in plate form. Loads of vegan and vegetarian options including Callaloo, Ackee, Jerk Veggies, Veggie Patties, Plantains, Rice, Peas and refreshments in bottle form. The Ackee and Callaloo Plate is one of my favorites. The vibes inside are mellow yet very warm and the service is excellent though I mainly do delivery/takeout. If dining in you can enjoy their homey touches, greenery, art and flatscreen TV. They have some pantry items such as sauces, seasonings, crackers, etc as well as desserts. It's tucked away in a small plaza off Burbank Blvd/Hazeltine Avenue with a small yet spacious lot that's rarely full. Street parking is plentiful though I can actually walk here (only a mile from home). Restrooms are gender neutral, always clean. Good spot to enjoy solo or with a small group. My friends in Van Nuys enjoy this place often, and we're all the same distance. Enjoy this awesome Valley must!

I honestly wish I had ordered more than two. The fresh juices were also a standout; the Pineapple Ginger and Hibiscus were both spot on. Even the imported ginger beer from Kingston was really good. The jerk wings were absolutely delicious, and those small bread rolls (similar to cornbread muffins) were super tasty. The peas and rice and the plantains were also on point. Now for the downsides, the oxtails were disappointing. They weren't very meaty, and at $35 a plate, I expected more than mostly bones. I did get one decent piece, but overall it didn't feel worth the price. The vegetables were also bland. Dessert was another letdown. The sweet potato pie wasn't sweet enough and had an overpowering nutmeg flavor. The cobbler was undercooked, the crust was raw and inedible, and the peaches tasted like they came straight from a can. Overall, a mixed experience, but I'd still come back for the patties, wings, and fresh juices.

Delivery order included the oxtail platter, beef patties, and jerk chicken. Oxtail Platter: The oxtail was perfectly tender and juicy....and yes, got in the bones! The platter included steamed cabbage and vegetables with the bonnet peppers adding an extra kick to the flavors. I was surprised that the rice and peas were not mushy based on other spots I've ordered from so was pleasantly surprised. Beef Patties: Believe homemade and definitely not a Gold Krust type (IYKYK) of pastry aka not dry. Beef was juicy and the pastry was flaky with crunch and retained the flavors. Jerk Chicken: Chicken was tender and meat fell off the bone. The platter also included the rice and peas (red beans). Each platter included festival bread which helped to sop the juices. Hands down, the best Jamaican restaurant in the area based on my previous experiences.
