We had a fabulous late night dinner here. Service was super fast! Our waiter was really nice too. Nice music, chill vibe. Would definitely come back here.

Wandered in to this place for early lunch and sat outside in covered porch area. Food was exactly what we were wanting for a light lunch and excellent! Would return to this cafe again

I came here with 7 people. We sat in the restaurant and I started to read all the reveals about bad service and overcharges on the bill. The place was half full at about 11:30 am. There is an English menu. We had an older gentleman serve us. He was very quick and efficient. Did not idle to small talk with anyone. A younger guy came around and helped us translate our order. I personally had the fish and chips and French onion soup. I thought the fish was ok but the onion soup was completely tasteless. I tried adding pepper to it but it was still tasteless. Every thought the food was ok. Nothing to write home about. When the bill can we checked it very carefully and everything was in order.

Typical street cafe for city of Paris, however with poor service. Waiter forgot to bring wine, beef brought cold, bred was not fresh.

    Parfumerie

The service was friendly; the food was okay. I had the sea bass fillet with ratatouille for my main course and the parfumerie for dessert. The sea bass was slightly undercooked but the ratatouille was good. The price was decent IMO. Overall a not overpriced okayish-to-good meal in a touristy area.

My family and I were visiting Paris for a few days and had a lovely dinner here. The server was so sweet and helpful. My husband and I had some delicious Moscow Mules and our daughter had a tasty "lemonade" which we found out that in most of France lemonade are carbonated lemon-flavored drinks. My daughter and I ordered vegetable pad thai which was delicious, and my husband got the chicken pad thai which he also loved. I would definitely recommend this restaurant is you are in the area.

I had a great dining experience here. Ordered filet de boeuf. Medium level is a like medium rare in US. Be mindful of that. Wine and dessert were tasty as well. The service was brillant. The waitress speaks English really well. I really enjoyed the deco and the ambience of the restaurant. Would recommend this place who looked for a decent place for dinner.

This place is not worth the bad reviews. Unsure but maybe management changed or staff changed but for a Parisian Café this place is amazing. It's got great music, relaxed environment, the staff is very friendly and quick. The food was also perfect for a afternoon meal. This is what I think of when I find myself missing Paris. Stop by if your in the area and just relax.

It was our first day in Paris and we were walking towards the Arc de Triomphe and wanted to drop in somewhere for a nice first French meal. Our pick was as good as any since there were placed on every corner, so we dropped in on this place. We were greeted and sat down right away. There were a few business men seated for lunch. Our waiter spoke a bit of English and provided us with English menus. I ordered a Kir and the escargots. Both were ok. I've definitely had better. We also had the French onion soup and the sardines - all were about average and didn't stand out to us, though the escargots were pretty large in size. I've had plenty more flavorful. I didn't think the service was horrible but it wasn't great like some other places. Overall, I wasn't impressed and wouldn't come back here with some many other selections around.

A block away from our hotel and we went almost every morning. The cute waiter (aka my French boyfriend) turned me on to Baguettes w/ Fromage Cantal. My other half had eggs with fromage and we always started our breakfast with cappuccino's. Outdoor setting allowed my other half to smoke his lungs away with his cappuccino. Great little place for breakfast and lunch.

Charcuterie and Kronenberg 1664 for a light snack for the two of us

Basic food and decent portions. Great little spot on a semi quiet corner. Our waiter was courteous and food came out quickly.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Cheers!

The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.

The hotel is so regal and beautiful, with something to admire around every corner. That said, the jazz night itself was nothing particularly special in my opinion. We had dined at the Ritz in London a week earlier, and that was a truly quintessential jazz experience, complete with live performers, dancers, and a singer. Unfortunately, the experience in Paris didn't compare. The drinks, however, were 10/10! They even created a special cocktail just for us based on our preferences, and it was SO good. If you're looking for a beautiful place for drinks, I would absolutely recommend this. But the dinner... OMG, just a big NO. We started with a few salads, and for our mains we ordered the steak and the lobster pasta. Unfortunately, both were incredibly disappointing, and I could barely finish my dish. For a hotel of this caliber, I was honestly shocked by how underwhelming the food was. All in all, the setting, the historic hotel, the beautiful atmosphere, and the overall experience made for such a special evening. I just wish the food had lived up to everything else.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated. I'm not sure how it normally goes here regarding wait times and reservations. The French onion soup and lobster rolls were divine. The server would walk around with a bread box and would bring the whole box to the table and you could pick from there. We had cereal bread and an onion focaccia. Amazing! They gave us complimentary chocolates too. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. It looks like a classic fancy restaurant. There was a piano player too! They gave us a little chair for our purses.
