I have had a number of services from this salon. I can't help but want to try everything they offer. Services that I have received; hair color, hair cut, waxing, facial, nails! If they offer it, I have done it. The professionalism of the staff speaks to the management of the owners. Just by observing their interactions, you can tell that they are a tight knit community. Recently, they held a fundraiser on Valentine's Day to help a local animal shelter. Talk about above and beyond! I usually work with Angelica Solano, but all of the stylists are great. Annie is amazingly talented! She recently did the hair for my daughter's wedding party. She did an updo on me which I've never attempt and I loved it. But the sty she did for my daughter was absolutely perfect! It was hard for my daughter to explain what she wanted but Annie GOT it! In short: Annie was my hair colorist for +6 years, fixing my roots and helping my hair stay healthy every 3-4 months. She's a combination artist-therapist and even works wedding miracles. Highly recommend for anyone looking for "their" hair person! Longer version: When I moved to Santa Rosa in 2013, I found Annie through a Yelp search. As any hair-coloring lady knows, one of the hardest parts of moving is finding someone new to trust with the goods. Annie did not disappoint, not ever, not once! I'm very particular with my hair but am terrible at articulating what, exactly, I want. Basically: more of the same, but better, but don't change too much, you know? Annie took these totally lame directions and worked her magic time and time again. My highlights always looked natural (no Kelly Clarkson chunks here) and she kept my ends healthy without ever cutting more than I wanted. When I moved to Oakland in 2018, I loved Annie's work so much I didn't hesitate to drive an extra 2 hours out of my way just to see her again. After 6+ years together, she worked her artistic magic one last time doing my hair and makeup for my wedding. After so much time together, she felt like part of my sister-friend group and I couldn't have been happier to have her be a part of my special day. The ladies who work here make me feel like a million bucks, and there is absolutely zero pretense about this salon. I have had hair and brows done here and highly recommend them. Nicole, the owner, is the only person allowed to touch my eyebrows. I have been going to her for many years and she is a perfectionist with a fantastic eye for what looks great on your face. She will shape your brows in a way that is flattering, and she also listens to what you want. She is very fast yet accurate as can be, and safe and sanitary, too. She is also one of the nicest people you could meet. As for hair, you cannot go wrong with Angelica. She takes her time and delivers really pretty color. Her energy is uplifting and compassionate. She wants your hair to not only look good but also stay in great health, which is very important to me. She just makes you feel good being in her chair, a very lovely human being who does gorgeous hair. She also cuts really flattering layers and understands how to frame your face. 5 star salon. Beautiful, clean aesthetic, with beautiful ladies to meet all of your needs. In January I took the microblading course with Nicole. Her class was the second I've taken, and overall it was a positive, very organized experience. The training manual she puts together for students is absolutely amazing, and I still go back to it, months later for knowledge refreshment. She is still very helpful and offers great advice/tips if you're ever feeling lost. Not only is she a GREAT instructor, Nicole is gifted and knows what she is doing. My brows are microbladed by her, and I truly love them. Her color choices are always to the T and you will not be dissatisfied after receiving a service from her. Angelica has done a color correction for me when I attempted a DIY brown-to-blonde transformation. Needless to say the outcome was horrible until Angelica got her hands on it. I've been wanting to get my hair refreshed for a while now, so I went on yelp and saw that Le Reve Salon has excellent reviews- I've been salon hopping cause I haven't found the one yet, but now I finally have!! My appointment was on a Saturday, and I patiently waited as Angelica was working on a client. The decor is super cute! It gives off this vintage yet trendy vibe, and I adore the color scheme. Angelica puts magic in my hair! She knew instantly how to save a girl with flat hair, and I showed her some pictures on Pinterest for ideas. I asked for a soft V shape, and she also suggested short layers to give volume. After shampoo and conditioner and cut, I asked her to curl my hair and told her that being Asian, my straight hair doesn't hold curls at all. I would curl it and a couple of hours later, it would straightened out again. Aafter I left the salon (1:20pm), my curls actually stayed the whole day! It was only at night when my curls began loosening and even then it looked like tousled waves. YAAAAAAAAAAAASSS! Magic, I tell ya, magic! Angelica definitely listens to you and what you want.
