Dined here a few days ago for dinner at Irvine Spectrum. They have a sign out front that says "please wait to be seated" by an exterior podium, but the staff inside aren't always watching the podium outside. Order thru the staff or QR code they provide for your table. I recommend getting the wide/thick noodles as the broth clings to the noodles better. We ordered the A1 "Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle" combo with Braised Beancurd/Tofu; and the A2 "Spicy Prawn and Braised Scallion Soy Chicken Noodle" -- the A2's broth was slightly better and comes with a chili oil that I put into my A1. The thin noodles were okay, but hubs & I both liked the thick noodles more. Indoor & Outdoor seating available (pet friendly patio). Two unisex restrooms, the one I used was fairly clean. Service was fairly quick.

Good yummy noodle spot in spectrum! First saw this spot at south coast plaza and just realized it's part of paradise dynasty group Overall good casual asian grub, came on a Saturday night and we were easily seated, ordered quickly but service was rather slow for when we got our food, yet staff were all very attentive and nice I recommend the signature trio and we also enjoyed the other fish noodle soup

This visit was so much different. More friendly and attentive staffs, even we came in 30 minutes before the closing time. We were well taken care of. We had Crispy Chicken Garlic Rice Bowl with well done egg, which was super tasty! While Crispy Cod Dry Noodle a little bit off to my personal preference due too much strong spices especially the pepper! Other than that we really enjoyed our dining time

Le Shrimp Noodle Bar was participating in OC Restaurant Week & I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try it out! Our group ordered the big prawn noodle and the crispy cod dry noodle, along with 3 different side options (spinach, bok choy, and fries). The noodles include an option for wide or thin noodle, based on your preference, and the dry noodles have a spicy or non-spicy option. Be warned, I would only come here if you really like shrimp. The 48hr noodle broth that they're known for is quite shrimpy, seemly giving a taste made from the shrimp head guts. If not a huge fan of the shrimp head parts, I would opt for the dry noodles. I got the spicy, which is more of a chili oil noodle. It was seasoned well though could be a bit salty if eating with the fried cod. The cod itself was nice and flaky, though I wish there was less breading and larger fish pieces. I would have loved a side of some soup with the dry noodle. The veggie sides were a good complement to the dry noodles and soup, though it was too salty since it was almost drenched in sauce. Fries were decent, provided an alternate texture.

For a limited time they are serving the Singapore Style Hanianese Chicken Rice for $15.95. Came on a busy Saturday and all the servers were busy cleaning tables, serving food, etc. It took some time to get sat down for a table. Appreciate that the shop has a plenty of seats. The food came pretty quick and portion is good. Not too little and not too much! Chicken is tender, but I'm a fan of dark meat. The only 2 options were skinless breast meat only, or 1/2 thigh 1/2 breast. Rice is flavorful. It was a hearty meal as it also have a small soup on the side. Definitely make it a permanent item on the menu.

I am a big fan of paradise dynasty. So I had to try their sister restaurant Le shrimp noodle bar. Located at the spectrum. It was a very nice layout. I like the open space feeling. Ian was super nice. Went above and beyond for our experience Off their taste of Singapore menu. I really enjoyed their hainam chicken. Rice was flavored so well. Chicken cooked perfectly. All the sauces spot on. What a great dish I got their A1 signature trio soup on thin noodles. I do wish the noodles a bit more Aldente but overall a great soup. Shrimp based broth is nothing like I ever had before. Shrimps cooked well. Shrimp tacos were very easy to eat. Great appetizer Wontons are excellent as expected. Spinach was very good also. Overall excellent experience. From the food. To the service even the to go containers I loved. Having the soup and noodles separated is genius.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I finally had the chance to do just that. Service was friendly and quick. We both ordered the dry noodles with the crispy cod and a nice cold Japanese beer. What a great combination! We really enjoyed our lunch here and will definitely be back! They have a good lunch deal too!

yummmm!! personally like this location better than the south coast one due to more seating and outdoor ambiance. I highly recommend the new menu items: hainan chicken + laksa noodles! Super solid hainan chicken with rice. This is my go to spot for some savory classic Singaporean dishes. PSA shoutout to Ian! He was such an amazing server and gave exceptional customer service :)

Our first time to Le Shrimp Noodle Bar and we are fans! We've passed by the location at South Coast but have never stopped to try. We came by tonight with grandparents, parents and kids all approve! 5/5 stars across 3 generations and especially hard to impress my MIL but she was a fan of the new Singaporean special menu item - Hainan Chicken Rice! We really hope they decide to keep this item on their menu full-time. The service was also extremely nice. Love that they're super kid friendly with the kid utensils and plates. Will definitely be back to try more dishes!

My daughter and I came here to meet up my friends. We have high hopes for the place especially being advertised for having Singaporean Laksa Noodles. The noodles in Singaporean Laksa Noodles were overcooked so the noodles were partially broken. The broth was pretty decent. We also ordered Hainan Chicken rice but it never came out. Hence, we never got to try it. My daughter had the braise chicken noodles and she liked it. It's located next to Pho Saigon Pearl. Service was a little slow and not as attentive. Our waters were only refilled once. Decent portion for the value.

Came here last Friday around 4:30. I ordered the Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle with thin noodles -- rich, savory, smokey and prawn-forward broth that was comforting especially on a cold evening. The broth was definitely the star: deeply flavored, and layered without being heavy. Service was warm, and efficient. The space is bright and modern, and I love how open this location was. If you love bold, prawn-forward flavors, you should check them out .

Stopped in at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar after a run and some shopping and it was the perfect cool evening for it. It was getting close to closing time but the host/server Jordan was prompt to get me seated and bring over a menu and some water. He also noticed I had my shopping bag on the ground so promptly brought over a basket for me to put my bag in which I was surprised to see at such a casual restaurant, but get that this level of service is common in Asian countries. I got their Prawn Noodles and a side of their wings and everything was so fresh and delicious. Note, I love a little spicy shrimp flavor but if that's not your thing then this might not be the right place for you as everything has a hint of shrimp flavor. Their canned soju cocktail was also really refreshing and not too sweet. The restaurant is small but has both indoor and heated patio seating great for people watching. It's located closer to the Dave & Buster's side of the Spectrum right near the big parking garage.

    Singapore Laksa noodles

I had to pick up an online order at the Irvine Spectrum today so stopped by Le Shrimp Noodle Bar for an early dinner. Was going to order the trio shrimp noodles but the server talked me into ordering the Singapore Laksa noodles instead. He said it's pretty good here so I thought I'd give it a try. The noodles were a bit too overdone for me. I like my noodles el dente instead. Also, the broth was a bit too salty. I love laksa and ate a lot of it, with either noodles or rice, when I was in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur so I can tell the difference. But it is still good and not too many restaurants serving this dish in Orange County. Just need to perfecting it a bit more. Service was fine. Only a few people in the restaurant since it was too early for dinner but too late for lunch :) so it was rather quiet.

It honestly felt like we were being mocked, almost as if he had some kind of issue with me for no reason. This wasn't just a "ramen joint"--it was a masterclass in authentic Fukuoka-style soul food. The Broth: Liquid Gold The standout was always their Signature Tonkotsu broth. You could literally taste the 30+ hours of labor that went into it. It had that distinct "frothy" texture (the bubble of the bone marrow) that you only find in high-end Hakata shops. It was rich, creamy, and carried a deep umami funk without ever being overly greasy. The Hits * Black Tonkotsu: The roasted garlic oil (mayu) added a smoky, dark complexity that ruined all other garlic ramens for me. * God Fire: For those who like to sweat, this offered the perfect balance of heat without sacrificing the integrity of the pork flavor. * The Karaage: Genuinely some of the best fried chicken in the area. Massive, juicy thigh meat with a shattering, thin crust and that addictive spicy mayo on the side. * Customization: I loved that they let you pick your noodle firmness. "Hard" was the only way to go to ensure that perfect snap with every bite. The Atmosphere The Costa Mesa location always had a great energy--functional, clean, and unpretentious. The staff were always efficient, greeting everyone with a loud "Irasshaimase!" that made the experience feel truly authentic. It's heartbreaking to see such a high-caliber spot leave the neighborhood. If you were lucky enough to eat here, you know we lost a heavy hitter. To the team at Ikkousha: thank you for the memories and the best bowls in the city. You'll be sorely missed! Note: For those still craving that specific broth, their Torrance locations are still holding it down--definitely worth the drive to keep the dream alive. Come back to OC! !
