Karli and I were in town visiting family.. We came up from San Rafael. I got the scrambler with added veggies with a matcha and karli got the veggie hash with a tumeric latte. The food was exactly what we were looking for. By far the most fresh and flavorful ingredients you could ask for. The customer service was outstanding. The woman who greeted us had really warm energy and made us feel welcomed. And the chef made sure that our meal came out right. Driving by Redding and hungry- so we called in pickup order. Food was super fresh and very tasty. My daughter liked the savory pesto chicken more than the sweet banana and Nutella crepe - and she has a sweet tooth! The Thai crepe was the best savory crepe I've ever tasted - the fact that it's all organic is a bonus, or does it taste so good because it is organic? Pay a little more for organic fresh flavors but well worth it. Service was friendly - family owned and operated (toddler drawing in table behind cashier). If we lived closer we would be a regular. Wow, this place was absolutely amazing. We decided to bring our dog with us on a trip to Redding and wanted to bring him with us to lunch today. We noticed that this place was dog friendly and decided to give them a chance. The seating for dogs is outside as no dogs are allowed inside unless they are a service dog. We were beyond satisfied with the food and how much they went out of the way for us and our dog. They brought a heater over to keep our dog warm as it was cold outside, got him a dog bowl full of water and did it all without us even having to ask! The customer service was exceptional and the food and cappuccino was delicious. 10/10 would recommend, especially if you have a little dog you want to bring with you. read more

We came here from Los Angeles for a little getaway, and found this place one morning. The family business is just that, family. They treated us like we were friends for years. We were so excited to find this gold nugget of a restaurant. It is family owned and the Cheff is the owner. The food is organic, only the best and freshest ingredients are used to create the flavorful dishes. The atmosphere is peaceful and quite romantic. I loved the fresh filtered ice water infused with orange, lemon and lime slices. The coffee is organic and freshly ground. Delicious!! The menu list is quite large with a variety of options. Even willing to adjust menu for allergies or taste buds. The portion sizes were perfect. We left filling pleasantly full and overjoyed at such a find! You have got to try out this restaurant!! James and Yumi have a terrific bistro here. Today we tried a Spring Salad, and the ingredients were all fresh and crisp (no soggy lettuce or tomatoes here). The dressings are out of this world! We tried the coconut ranch (non-dairy) and the Berry Vinaigrette. Very, very good. James creates the dressings himself, and it makes all the difference. There's nothing like a good dressing made from scratch. And the way Yumi and James treat their customers is both refreshing and a testament to their faith. I feel like I've made new friends for life. I will be talking to all my friends and encouraging them to give this place a try. All the food is organic and the atmosphere inside is pleasant and inviting. My husband and I were driving through the area looking for somewhere to grab a quick breakfast and this place came up when looking for vegan options, which are not always easy to find on the road. This place did not disappoint! They offer many vegan options and substitutions without compromising any flavor! We got the pesto chicken (vegan sub) which was DELICIOUS! They sub out chicken for tofu and I think they add their own vegan Parmesan as well as a different crepe batter. (They also offer a gluten free option) Crepes come with your choice of soup or salad and their tasty gazpacho paired perfectly with the crepe! Aside from the delicious food the service was great and the couple working were very sweet and friendly coming around to ask how everything was. Sitting outside at this cafe, listening to the guitarist play and the tiny chirping birds in the eaves, I almost forgot I was at a restaurant jammed into a strip mall in Redding. But that's not the best part. The chef's transportive, tasty creations here are on par with any restaurant in San Francisco - and that's no exaggeration. Stopped by this little shop on the way home back to Los Angeles after visiting Mt. Shasta. I love the food as it's just the right balance of flavors and sweetness! Tumeric Latte tasted great to me! I got mines with almond milk instead of cow milk as the last thing I wanted was my digestive system to not do well during a long drive haha. The seasonal berry crepe with vanilla cream was delish! Black bean brownie? Yes! Annnnd I also got the asian salad. Fire! Good healthy food and not overly sweet like a Starbucks drink but not bland either! The food? I went for brunch, had an omelette and home fries, and it was good. Not great. Good. The coffee was good too, but served in a paper cup....no bueno. The ambiance? It's in a corner strip mall complex between a groceery store and a drug store, overlookIng a parking lot. But Moonstone Bistro is in the same complex, so it's something you can overcome so long as the interior isn't too sterile. Le Testimony is kinda sterile. A word of warning (the name of the joint should be a tip): Don't go if you don't want to listen to worship music all through your meal. Answer me this: How does every worship music rock band sound like shitty 90s alternative bands, but singing about Jesus? It's like listening to Creed Gets Religion, complete with the wailing of Scott Stapp and bombastic, repetitious riff-rock music backing it up. God help you if you find that shit appealing. read more

First off, hair baked into crepe. Gross. Ruined the whole thing obviously. Before bite with said hair, it was good. But that was the only good thing we had. Potatoes were served cold, and flavorless, scramble was in my husbands words, "not great." Everything was just mediocre, or hairy. We had a long wait for our food since the whole place seemed understaffed. No one came to check on us and ask how everything was. Thus there was no non-awkward way of bringing up disgusting crepe hair. Would not go here again. Wish I could have gotten a refund for $11 hairy crepe. :( read more

Just tried Le Testimony bistro in the Holiday shopping center on Placer and Buena Ventura. What a find! Already on lunch and had messed up my door dash order, so I ran up the road knowing there was a Burrito Bandito in that location. Driving by, the bistro caught my eye and seemed like a healthier choice. Great menu, but I was in the mood for soup on a cold and rainy day. They had two (soups change every day) and I couldn't make up my mind between the Winter Squash Bisque or the Chicken Corn Chowder, so I got both. I'm a Libra, what can I say? One for lunch, one for dinner. Vegan friendly bisque. Soup comes with baked-right-there soda bread, toasted with butter if you like it that way, and I do Yummmmy! I also tried a Turmeric Latte from the beverage menu. Whole milk, rich and creamy and good, with all the touted health benefits of turmeric, i.e antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, boosts brain function, and helps prevent viral infections, heart disease, Alzheimers, and cancer.
