We just finished an intense 4 day backpacking trip in Trinity Alps. We were ready for some healthy food. We found Le Testimony on a search for organic restaurant. This restaurant delivered! My husband and I ordered the vegetarian omelette and the chicken ceasar salad (split those) and the 3 teens with us each ordered the meat lovers omelette. High quality organic meals for sure. Delicious lunch today! While driving back to the bay from PDX we stopped in Redding for an unexpected and delicious lunch. People were very nice, friendly and appreciative of our business. Food was delicious. My husband had a veggie crepe and u had the Waldorf chicken salad. Big whole walnuts plus red, green and black grapes over lettuce with chicken and a light dressing. Very tasty. This is for sure the best place to get breakfast in Redding. I am a very picky person and its not easy to convince me, since I have high standards when it comes to what I put in my body. I have to say the crepes are fantastic, all the ingredients are healthy & fresh. There are even glutenfree options. Some of the best crepes I've ever had!! You can feel this place is run with a lot of love and care. Also the coffee is amazing!! My sister took the cheese omelette and she thought it was delicious. As much as I would like to keep this little gem a secret...I like the folks who run (own?) it enough to give it 5 stars (every single time I've gone there!) the food is fresh, simple and delicious. Try the turmeric hot milk (weird, YUM). Seating is just alright (3 stars) but they make up for it in friendliness and food. :) read more

I called in food for pickup, but when I went inside the restaurant, I saw that the chefs and cashier were not wearing masks in the restaurant. I have a pre-existing condition and felt very concerned for my safety in the restaurant, so I decided to leave immediately. The store owner called me back and when I tried to explain that I had a pre-existing condition and was concerned about COVID-19, he cut me off and said that "You needed to let them know if you wanted your food made my someone with a mask." This does not make sense to me at all and he repeatedly tried to justify not wearing masks, without even listening to anything that I was saying. I feel bad about not paying for the food I called in ($16 total) and was planning to still pay for it, but the employee was so rude to me on the phone that I couldn't even get a complete sentence out to say this. The employee was very unkind to me on the phone, and not at all understanding of my health risks. Had they been kind to me, I would have acted differently, but I have now reported them to the county public health office for their blatant violations. COVID-19 is no joke folks, please wear your masks (ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE WORKING IN A RESTAURANT)! I will never eat at this restaurant again! read more

This place is a gem. The second I walked in, me and my gf were greeted as if we were good friends. The cashier was super sweet and helpful and the atmosphere was peaceful. After ordering and sitting down, the food got out quite fast for how busy it was. The food tasted awesome. All organic and plentiful of vegetables. It's not a business about purely profit, it's a business about bringing joy and delicious food in a happy environment. Just the service alone was great. After finishing our food, the plates are taken care of quick and we were on our way out feeling like we just made some new friends and ate a healthy hearty meal. Seriously awesome place, with great vegan options and excellent service. We dined on the patio as we had our dog with us, the owners were super nice and brought him a little water cup. The staff is amazingly kind and accommodating. We were stopping through for breakfast with our kids and dog. The food was delicious and prompt (which was great since we needed to get back on the road). It was a hot day and they had delicious infused water to drink and even provided a water dish for our pup. Don't be fooled by the tucked away location. I was surprised by how good my omelette, potatoes, and bread were. The potatoes were cooked perfectly. The omelette was light, flavorful, and not the least bit greasy, despite the cheese. Last but not least, the soda bread was phenomenal. May be some of the best bread I've ever had. We had a great morning at Le Testimony! Sweet family run business, husband and wife team doing everything. My family has a lot of special diet needs and they were able to cater everything to our gluten free/dairy free needs. The soup of the day was wonderful! It was a vegan creamy cauliflower broccoli and soooo good! I'd go back just for the soup. We also got a banana Nutella crepe for my kids to share (there was still leftovers!) and I got a Thai peanut crepe. Very impressed and so thankful for a organic restaurant here! My sister got a mocha and I tried a sip- also very yummy. My mom got a veggie omelette that she said was also good. I was also impressed with the portion sizes. Usually organic/GF/DF places have smaller portions for higher prices, but not this place. Generous size portions.
