    Ube Mascarpone Pancakes
    Belldandy O.

Our group of four arrived around 10AM on a Thursday, hungry and excited to try Hawaiian/Filipino brunch! We arrived just in time to be seated before a long wait would have started. Together, we decided to split the Ube Mascarpone Pancakes. I personally ordered the 8oz Wagyu Loco Moco with a side of adobo fried rice for myself. We were so glad we split the pancakes as a group because it was a fairly large set of pancakes to consume. It was also THE BEST pancakes I have ever had. I wish I could have them again! The Loco Moco was amazing. It was a lot larger than I expected and it was quite filling. I was truly amazed by the fact that the adobo fried rice I swapped for was chicken adobo fried rice! There was definitely a good amount of protein in this plate. The service here is great. The food is amazing. When I visit Hawaii, I will definitely consider stopping by one of their locations there!

The rice serving is big here! That garlic rice was good and buttery. Longganisa had a great flavor too. Staff was friendly and attentive. Love this lil hidden gem cafe.

This cafe is quite small but the vibe and music makes you feel like a lazy Sunday. Its awesome in here! The service is awesome. My server was so nice ans she was such a pleasure to speak to! I got the trio plate as it came with their famous ube pancakes and the loco moco pattie. I really enjoyed the loco moco gravy. It hit the spot for me this morning. I also got the thigh chicken meat over waffles. I loved the crispy skin but wasnt feeling the sweetness. Also the chicken is very bland, but you can upgrade to a different flavor. Ill try that next time. The food was beautifully plated and looked yummy. I love the little flowers they used for garnish. All around great people, atmosphere, and very decent food!

Guieb Cafe in Las Vegas had some good moments, but overall it was just okay for me. The food came out very salty, which overpowered a lot of the flavors and made it hard to really enjoy the dishes as intended. There were parts that tasted good underneath, but the seasoning was just too heavy overall. The wait time was also quite long, even when it wasn't extremely busy, which made the experience feel a bit drawn out. Not a bad spot, but there's definitely room for improvement in both timing and consistency.

What a neighborhood gem. Nice deco like stepping into Hawaii. Great service, the waiter he was very attentive but not overbearing. I was seated right away even though my friends weren't there yet. That was nice. They have Hawaiian music playing which gives the place a good vibe! The food OMG so pretty. We were all impressed and full when we left . The presentation of the food shows care! I had never tried ube before so I had the pancakes and wow. I'd always been afraid It's purple lol So fantastic I've been missing out! Definitely a place we will repeat!

The food was fantastic! The ube French toast was moist and not too sweet , wished it captured a little more ube. Adobo fried rice was very yummy and loco moco was so good! Love the beach vibes and accommodating staff

We decided to grab takeout from Guieb Cafe and bring breakfast back to the hotel -- and honestly, this spot feels like a hidden local favorite for island-style comfort food in Vegas. Ordering takeout was quick and easy, and everything traveled surprisingly well back to the hotel without losing quality. When picking up the food it was clean and spacious. From the outside you can't tell how nice it is inside because of the food wrapped windows. Star of the Show The Adobo Fried Rice Omelette is absolutely the reason to come here. Savory, comforting, and packed with flavor, it delivers that perfect balance of garlic fried rice and tender adobo goodness wrapped in eggs. Every bite felt satisfying and hearty -- the kind of breakfast you keep thinking about later. If it's your first visit, this is the must-order item. The Rest of the Spread We also tried: Corned Beef Hash Portuguese Sausage Both were solid, familiar breakfast staples. Nothing overly fancy, but dependable and filling -- exactly what you'd expect from classic breakfast plates. The pancakes were good, though definitely on the sweeter side. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll probably enjoy them even more than I did. Kid Approval Category The Poi Mochi Waffles ended up being more of a standard waffle experience for us. Not bad at all -- just not as unique as we expected. That said, the kids happily finished them, which is always a win when traveling. The haupia sauce leaned a bit watery for my taste and didn't add much coconut richness to the waffle. Overall, Guieb Cafe delivers comforting local-style breakfast flavors that hit especially well when you're in Vegas and craving something beyond the usual casino brunch options. Come for the Adobo Fried Rice Omelette, bring an appetite, and enjoy a relaxed island-style breakfast moment -- even if you're just taking it back to your hotel like we did. Would return for that omelette alone.

    Adobo fried rice with lechon

Friday morning breakfast, small restaurant with 10-12 tables, full when we arrived but wait was around 15 minutes. Menu is various pancakes, waffles, and Hawaii/filipino inspired breakfast items. Food comes out fast, order adobo fried rice with Lechon, omelette and ube pancakes. Adobo fried rice had some chunks of pork and wrapped in an egg, lechon was crispy. Rice was salty. Omelette pretty standard filling on the inside. Ube pancakes were covered in a Ube sauce which makes the flavor, otherwise they are just purple pancakes but probably the best dish of the 3 Service was adequate, coffee was pretty bad. Overalll okay experience. Get the pancakes

Wow absolutely delicious!! This is our first time here during breakfast and the servers were very attentive -- we didn't have to wait long to order and to receive the check. The vibe was nice and felt spacious. The food was great -- I ordered the loco moco fried rice, and the gravy was tooooo good. I also tried the ube beignet and that was yummy (and not too sweet) as well. We will be coming back!!!

This was our first stop after we landed in Vegas! My cousins who live there haven't been so when they asked where we wanted to have breakfast, I immediately said Guieb Cafe! We've visited the Aiea location a couple of times & loved it. We were immediately welcomed as we walked through the door and barely waited a minute for the staff to put tables together since there were seven of us. I ordered Da three-bite feast as I couldn't decide...was the perfect choice. Love the Ube Mascarpone Pancakes, Crab Cake Benedict and the Loco Moco (substituted white rice w/adobo fried rice). I also ordered a side of the crab salad as it was a memorable side the last time I had it. My family ordered the bansilog, the Philly Cheesesteak omelette, Da Local omelette, Ube Haupia French Toast & Ube Mascarpone pancakes. Everyone enjoyed their food! I can't wait to visit again. Side note, hopefully you'll start selling merch, we'll be proud to wear Guieb Cafe shirts in CA! haha

OMG!!!! UBE pancakes so delicious But please for me I like my hotcakes being hot. I rather closer to end of meal

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow WOw WOW!!!!! Still thinking how good this hidden gem is. That Ribeye loco moco is to die for and the ube pancakes another wonderful ending. The place is a bit hidden but what a find. The service by J and coworkers perfect. The coffee i believe is Kona so good But one request vanilla creamer please!!!! Also yes one thing that I believe because we were late when we came in and got the last of it but the steamed rice was under done. We will be back we must try Prime rib loco moco that sauce was great....

I absolutely love this place! I've been here multiple times and every single item that I've tried is delicious Awesome and friendly service and the place is always clean!

There was about a 10 minute wait to order, which we didn't mind given how crowded it was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when it was our turn. The staff member taking our order said, "do you know what you want?" in an unwelcoming tone. Even though, his tone turned me off, we still placed an order (...probably shouldn't have). We ordered the Freckled Redhead burger ($16) and the Chicken with Mac Waffle ($17). After ordering, we were given a number and waited outside. The food came out after about 20 minutes and we took it home to eat. A different staff member served our to-go order and she seemed nice. As much as we wanted to enjoy it, the food was just OK. The chicken was seasoned well but it seemed over fried, which made it dry. The waffle itself was decent but only had a small amount of mac and cheese inside. I had seen previous photos where mac and cheese was also served on the side, so that was disappointing. My boyfriend had the burger and said it was just OK as well...nothing special and not really worth the price. Overall, the staff member taking orders didn't seem very friendly or welcoming, and should probably take a break or work in the back. The food wasn't exciting like we hoped. We give it 2 stars. Even though we live nearby, we probably wouldn't return for the food. Maybe the coffee and drinks are better, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel.
