Service was good. Drinks were good. Ambience was fun as we went on a Friday night when the bars were open. Food was absolutely delicious- only one thing: it gave me food poisoning. I didn't have anything else to eat this day except a smoothie that I usually drink. I'm not a sensitive person when it comes to food. My Uber driver warned me to not get over a 2 spice level if I wanted to taste my food...and she wasn't wrong. I went with the pad prik king with chicken as my entree and the server let me know the dish comes as a 2.5 and asked if I was okay with that. When the dish came out, I very confidently dumped my rice directly into the stir fry/sauce rather than spooning the dish onto the rice and that's where I missed up! I confessed to the server that I underestimated the spice level and she kindly brought me out some new rice. Dish was awesome from that point on! Generous portions! OUR FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT!! You will never be disappointed by the setting, staff, food and flavors. Each bite is filled with sweetness, spice and unbelievable textures. We love to start with the crispy egg rolls and enjoy the short rib fried rice, 3 color curry, pad see Ewe. The only down part is that their water is not filtered so even the most lemon will not get rid of that awful taste. I hope some filtration system can be considered. If you're a casino player at the hotel group of Circa, The D, and Golden Gate downtown and have built up comps over your play - you can use those at a few eateries along the Fremont Street...Le Thai included! Wifey & I wandered in on a super busy Memorial Day weekend night and probably 45 minutes to Le Thai closing. It was a quick wait, but we were able to get a table for 2! Last one of the night! LUCKY to say the least! We wasted no time and got to ordering: *Crispy Spring Rolls ($10) *Papaya Salad ($13) - shredded fresh green papaya with Thai chili, garlic, carrot, tomato, lime & toasted peanuts with sticky rice *Green Curry with Chicken ($16) - bamboo shoots, bell pepper, zucchini, Thai basil and coconut milk *Waterfall Beef ($15) - beef stir fried in garlic soy sauce, with sticky rice and waterfall dipping sauce *Awesome Flat Noodle with Beef ($16) - stir fried flat rice noodles, bean sprouts, green onion and egg For Thai spice levels we stayed with a 1 or 2 - if you like spicy spice you can go up to level 5...but dang, you're much braver than we are! Value is there too for being in the middle of Downtown Vegas, food at Le Thai more than reasonably priced! Servings plentiful too, we had leftovers for later back at the Circa for our stay! Those comp dollars really helped lessen the bill! If you play downtown, give Circa, The D, and Golden Gate a try - you won't regret it! Service at Le Thai was quick, efficient, and super friendly. I came on a Saturday around 5pm and didn't have to wait but a party of three was told 30min wait. The servers were pleasant and the food came out reasonably fast. We went to Le Thai around 8 PM and were seated right away. There were three of us and we ordered family style. We had the short rib fried rice, yellow curry with shrimp, and pad see ewe with chicken. We finished with mango sticky rice for dessert. Every dish was flavorful and well done. The short rib fried rice and yellow curry were my favorites. We almost wished we ordered a fourth dish but were happy with what we got. The food came out quickly and the interior has a great vibe that fits well with downtown Las Vegas. We tried the chicken ga pow and chicken drunken noodles, and both were delicious--full of flavor and a nice change from all the burgers and pizza around the area. This place definitely isn't what it used to be. I used to frequent this spot all the time when they had outdoor seating and even hosted yoga in the back. I went yesterday with my partner, and honestly, I was disappointed to see how downhill it has gone. My partner ordered the beef pad thai, and it was extremely bland. I got the panang curry with tofu, and my tofu came fried instead of steamed. The service wasn't terrible, just very mid. Nobody was rude, but no one really seemed to care either One thing that really bothered me was that our waitress never asked for our spice level and just assumed we wanted little to no spice, seemingly because my partner is white. It felt very dismissive. It wasn't awful, but I wouldn't recommend it anymore, which sucks because I really love the Arts District, and I used to recommend this place and go there all the time when I was in college. read more

The food was incredible, fresh and delicious like I remembered! We sat at the bar and ordered and the bartenders were amazing. Fun, engaging and funny, we enjoyed our time. Absolutely love the food, but however, they do a really terrible job with anyone with food allergies especially on takeout orders. We ordered several times for gluten allergy and asked for steamed tofu and we never get steamed tofu. very frustrating and the lady we spoke to basically we said it wasn't in the notes and then we asked well. How can we make sure it's in the notes for next time and she basically said we have to put in the note so really took no liability and had no remorse to our situation. read more
