The Bartender was so friendly and nice. Enjoyed a delicious Espresso Martini on ice. This place smelled great upon walking in. Staff was diverse and welcoming. I ordered the Thai Salad with Shrimp and Chicken Satay. The Satay was fantastic- excellent grill marks and super flavorful. The salad was good but spicier than expected. I went to Lety on a Monday and it was actually super busy they even had Diplo playing outside, kinda felt like a mini festival for free. The bartenders Gwen and Destiny were awesome, super friendly and full of good energy. The food was just amazing, probably one of the best authentic Thai flavors in Vegas. I've been to Thailand before and honestly this taste just like being there. The place is clean, good vibes all around, definitely feels like you're somewhere else. One of the best Thai spots in town. The food is amazing, the service is great, and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. I was craving Thai food and decided to give this spot a try. It's a cute spot with indoor and outdoor seating. You can order takeout from the side window which is nice. I grabbed a seat at the bar in the early afternoon. I started off with the crispy spring rolls and blooming basil cocktail. There are 4 decent sized rolls in one order, perfect to eat alone or to share. The bartender/ waiter gave me a good tip to cut the spring rolls in half since they come pretty hot. They were pretty good, a little greasy, but not so much that it bothered me. The cocktail was also pretty good. It was light and refreshing, just what I was looking for early in the day. My main course was the highlight of the meal. That short rib fried rice...AMAZING. All of the hype is warranted, especially with the gravy. It was decent size portion and packed with flavor. I opted out of the fried egg on top, but I bet it would've been just as great. You can easily split it if you're with someone and want to share or if you wanted to try something else and take some to go for later. I ate it all with no regrets. I also had the Japanese Whiskey and Ginger after the bartender gave me a sample from a leftover drink. It was great. It reminded me of a whiskey sour with a hint of ginger. Very well blended. The service was great. It really felt like a neighborhood spot and the bartender/waiter made a point to make everyone feel welcomed. The place has a nice chill vibe. The playlist was top tier. The yellow curry was the highlight for me. Rich, flavorful, and balanced without being too heavy. I went with the pad prik king with chicken as my entree and the server let me know the dish comes as a 2.5 and asked if I was okay with that. When the dish came out, I very confidently dumped my rice directly into the stir fry/sauce rather than spooning the dish onto the rice and that's where I missed up! If you're a casino player at the hotel group of Circa, The D, and Golden Gate downtown and have built up comps over your play - you can use those at a few eateries along the Fremont Street...Le Thai included! Wifey & I wandered in on a super busy Memorial Day weekend night and probably 45 minutes to Le Thai closing. It was a quick wait, but we were able to get a table for 2! Last one of the night! LUCKY to say the least! We wasted no time and got to ordering: *Crispy Spring Rolls ($10) *Papaya Salad ($13) - shredded fresh green papaya with Thai chili, garlic, carrot, tomato, lime & toasted peanuts with sticky rice *Green Curry with Chicken ($16) - bamboo shoots, bell pepper, zucchini, Thai basil and coconut milk *Waterfall Beef ($15) - beef stir fried in garlic soy sauce, with sticky rice and waterfall dipping sauce *Awesome Flat Noodle with Beef ($16) - stir fried flat rice noodles, bean sprouts, green onion and egg For Thai spice levels we stayed with a 1 or 2 - if you like spicy spice you can go up to level 5...but dang, you're much braver than we are! So much umami all at once, wonderful eating sensations! Fresh crunch, salty, sweet, tart, spicy, and soft with a bite of the sticky rice! Sooooooo tasty! Other 3 entrees we had as well were all excellent. Anything with rice for us makes it a great meal! Value is there too for being in the middle of Downtown Vegas, food at Le Thai more than reasonably priced! Servings plentiful too, we had leftovers for later back at the Circa for our stay! Those comp dollars really helped lessen the bill! If you play downtown, give Circa, The D, and Golden Gate a try - you won't regret it! Service at Le Thai was quick, efficient, and super friendly. I like the little tab they leave at your table too, letting you know your table has been sanitized. Nice little touch! OUR FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT!! You will never be disappointed by the setting, staff, food and flavors. Each bite is filled with sweetness, spice and unbelievable textures. The only down part is that their water is not filtered so even the most lemon will not get rid of that awful taste. I hope some filtration system can be considered.
