Crystal River- My 91 year old father purchased a water treatment system from Leaf Home Water Solutions and was installed on 7/16/2025. The system was sold as a solution for odor in his well water. Immediately after installation the hot water developed a strong rotten-egg odor and discoloration that had not existed before. The system made the problem worse. There have been 3 tech visits. During the first visit the tech replaced water jets and increased the backwash schedule and although he stated something was wrong with the system, stated that he was not authorized to correct. Subsequent visits involved adjustments and reprogramming of the system but the odor and discoloration remain. The installation also caused the well pump to run excessively causing an average electric bill to go from $110 to $472. The electric company sent a tech to evaluate and determined that the well pump was pulling 35 amps. Because of this my 91 year old father has to turn the pump on and off to keep it from running constantly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sent a certified letter requesting removal of the system and a full refund after numerous attempts of resolution and the company has ignored us and no longer returns phone calls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Previously my father had a "WaterBoss" system for 15 years that only needed replacing because of normal wear and tear. After now 8 months of unsuccessful attempts my father is requesting removal and a full refund. He is also following up with Sheriff's dept regarding elder fraud. read more

I purchased my LEAF HOME WATER SYSTEM in July 2023. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Every year they have been slow to respond.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My current service was due in April 2026, 98 days ago. I called immediately because the ULTRA VIOLET light, that kills bacteria and parasites, shuts off at exactly 12 months. There is nothing wrong with the bulb, it's all about money. So over 3 years my service date went from July to April due to their slow response. I WOULD NEVER buy from this company again. We had previously had Leaf Filter gutter covers installed. The company was great! When we needed help with our well water, rusty colored sinks,etc, we found that they have a department that sells water treatment equipment. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We called, they came out and said they could add this tank to our system and that would take care of it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The installed it on October 3, 2025. It seemed to work well and we were so relieved. By early December the toilets and sinks and laundry were back to discoloration . I wish I can put Zero star. We called them for green water issue. They installed $8925 dollars systems that promised that it will fix the issue and did nothing the water is green and also they put you on almost $300 years annual fees. One person came, and it took over 4 hours. No one from Leaf Home Water Solutions came to inspect, and my plumber said the job was sloppy and subpar. The salesperson told us that the black ring in my toilet would disappear. Not true- still happening, and we do not notice any improvements in water quality. I just wasted 3K on nothing. I should have went with Culligan- a company that is established with water improvements. The Leaf salesperson showed us pics of shoddy workmanship from Culligan but they were no better. They really get a Zero. We were sold a system that supposedly removed 100 percent of the calcium in our water. Cost was $7,200. After 3 months the calcium deposits have returned. Their solution was that the salesman sold us the wrong product for that issue and for another $1,875 we can get a water softener added. However, there is no proof that our main concern was the calcium deposits so since we signed the contract for the products that we received we have no case. I had there services years ago in my old to be address. Now I trusted them one more time to install in my new address, only this time I paid in full and now I'm having some issues. I've schedule with them to have someone in my new address that I still haven't move yet, to check why my water is taking so long to get hot. The water seems fine, but the installation is terrible. The reverse osmosis faucet is not secured at all. It wobbles all over the surface. They have been out twice to tighten it under the sink and that lasts all of one day. It is just unacceptable and downright ghetto. I installed this system because I wanted clean water. At first, the water was great. Six months later, the water started being yellow and smelly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have contacted the company many times. The guy who came to do my water test and give me a quote, was racially profiling me before he even came to my home (he told me he was trying to figure out what nationality I was by my last name, and then continued with what I had in my driveway). Then, when my husband wasn't buying into his scam, he got a very bad attitude, and asked what nationality we were and when I told him, his response was "now that makes sense". Leaf Home Water Solutions came into my home and said if I buy their $5,700 system they would take care of my bad tasting water, remove the white powder on the tray for the water spout in fringe, remove water spots, and I would no longer need a filter for my fringe. Water tastes worse after their system was installed - their solution - spend another $2,500 with us and we will take care of it. White powder still on fridge tray - I was told they can't take care of that - just keep wiping it off. Water Spots on shower door and making glasses look horrible - I was told they can't take care of that - squeegee your shower door and the spots on your glasses is the dishwashers fault Refrigerator filter - I need one now more than ever. I was sold a VERY expensive system, put a second mortgage on my home and have speed bumps of build up that can not be scrubbed off. It took 9 days to get a call back from someone above a service center call rep AND a BBB complaint to actually get anything addressed. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR LANDSCAPING, YARD, AND DRIVEWAY RUINED! Leaf Home Water Solutions' sales representative, Craig Marin, sold us a City Water Softener System (as shown here) and the reverse osmosis filtration system for kitchen. This was promised to soften our city water as well as provide filtration for harmful minerals and impurities. We were told the system would drain outside the garage into the ground via 5-foot drain pipe installed into the ground. We were told that the waste water from the system would dispel into the ground 5 feet down and would not be a problem. This turned out not to be the case. Leaf has been called back to our property four times and the wastewater is still flowing across our driveway, pathway, and landscaping every couple of days. The last time they sent a manager, Nick LaBlanc, to fix the installation. He followed the same procedure and drove a 5-foot length of 1 inch PVC pipe into the ground and claimed the water would remain underground. It would create a reservoir underground and stay contained. This is still not the case. The corrosive salt is destroying our driveway and walkway pavers as well as killing our landscaping and grass. They have also damaged our garage wall by drilling three holes in order to install the system. On the second installation attempt, we requested a water test to see if or how our water had improved with this system. The installer did part of the tests but did not have the necessary equipment to complete all the test. We also purchased the reverse osmosis filtration system for the kitchen. We were told by Craig Marin, that it would fit neatly in the cabinet under the sink and they would run a line behind the base cabinets to hook up behind the refrigerator. Again, this did not turn out to be the case. The tank is much larger and completely fills the cabinet under the sink, and the installer had to drill holes through each of the base cabinets to get the line to the refrigerator. Now each of our base cabinets have holes and a water line running through them. The installer just left the lose lines there. I had to go out and purchase brackets to at least tack the lines against the cabinet walls to get the line somewhat out of the way. Also, now the water pressure from the dispenser on the refrigerator is about half what it used to be and Leaf told us we could purchase a special pump for $2,000 that will increase that water pressure. I spent hours of my personal time working on this issue and nothing is resolved. On May 20, 2023 I attempted to install a French drain, 5 feet down where the pipe was driven into the ground, but that has not been effective either. As of May 24, 2023, Leaf Home Water Solutions still has not been able to resolve this situation. This situation continues to be a source of STRESS and ANXIETY with no solution in sight. read more

Received a call following up from a convention we went to. Told them we were closing next month so we're ready to get the estimate so we can have everything lined up for when we close. Rushed to the new house after work to meet the guy and started having a great conversation about what I'm looking for, what my concerns are, what I like. Even text my husband (who was still on his way) that I really liked the guy and how informative he was being and was really excited to have his knowledge and help with the water testing and assessing what was important to us. Was told by the guy they've got some great pricing right now but he wanted to see if he could offer that to me since I want to schedule 30 days out. Comes back to say he's got bad news and the company policy is not to even talk to anyone who isn't an owner. Couldn't test our water or even talk to us any more but he'd be happy to come back out the day. I honestly thought he was joking. Nope, not joking. He's happy to come back out when we close and they're not scheduling far in advance. Big mistake if you're giving discounts because you're marketing person is gone to refuse to give someone you're already in front of a quote. Especially when that person lives in a new community and talks to lots of people and would send you lots of referral business while you don't have a head of marketing. Stay Away.. 1st install, installer did not know he was to build solid platform and assemble metallic shed. so NOT completed. 2nd visit after shed had been assembled by us, installer advised us that the metallic shed purchased was improper height. (shed was purchased based upon guidance of initial sales rep). so, 2nd visit, NOT complete yet. 3rd installation visit, installer needed to did 2 feet trench to contain water tanks, so we thought it was done at that point. BUT... found out, while checking warranty, that a UV decontamination system we purchased as a part of the total package, was NOT installed. So, we are now waiting for the 4th visit to complete installation, but prior to this, [[HIGHLIGHT]]it was necessary for us to make numerous calls (to numerous to mention), leave numerous texts, etc. Up until today (1-9-24) NONE of our calls were answered, or texts replied to.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (even texting-calling so called supervisors or regional managers). Also, our water still appears cloudy due to sediment which, according to initial sales rep, would ALL be taken care of. We also had a small leak in the system where it was not sealed correctly during the install, that luckily was discovered by a contractor that came out to our house for a bathroom remodel. I called the main number and reported this issue. They repaired the small leak. In terms of my damage, someone called me and they told me- and I quote- " I'm assuming it was the installers that damaged my property"- right in the vicinity of where they were working inside my garage; this was discovered the same evening we came home from work when the install was complete- when only my husband and I live in the home. Our house is in St Aug Beach, and city water isn't great. Sure could not drink it. We had a system installed for the whole house and a separate one for drinking water July 2022. The drinking water is as good or better then the "best" bottled water. Showers are better and the soap really lathers. The water does leave a silky feel to your skin; not like a bad thing, but is noticeably different. Tip to save you some real cash$$... Get an estimate from Cxxxxxx or another competitor first.
