I purchased a water softener and reverse osmosis drinking water system for my mother's house. She absolutely loves it! The install was quick and looks way better than the other systems I've seen. They do a remineralization filter after the RO system, so it adds minerals, raises the pH, and taste better than a normal RO system. It was also way less expensive than some of the big franchise water companies that are out there. DO NOT USE!!! I would rate it a 0 star if possible. This company installed a whole house carbon system and water softener along with an RO system in our kitchen in September 2023. Overnight, the RO system sprung a leak under the sink and flooded our kitchen due to a faulty plumbing connection (undisputed). I have been following up on the damage claim reimbursement since. Calls, texts, and emails go unreturned, and no one has any answers nor has there been a resolution. If that was not bad enough, there is a horrible sulfur smell that has developed at every faucet. After numerous service calls, chemical adjustments, replumbing of the system, etc. there is no resolution. This has been going on for months despite constant follow-up. I am done! They can refund the $5k I spent on the system, reimburse me for the damage incurred and take their equipment back. DO NOT USE!! read more

HELP!!! I purchased a leaf water solution system, and it has been one huge nightmare ever since. First after it was installed my garbage disposal didn't work, which meant I couldn't use my dishwasher and I couldn't run water down my sink, also the reverse osmosis faucet was put above my garbage disposal button, which meant I couldn't reach the garbage disposal it has a faucet over it. Now, if you're following along, you'll realize I can't use my sink. I can't use my garbage disposal I can't use my dishwasher. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I have called this company numerous times to help me to the point to where I have asked them to remove the reverse osmosis system from My home.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am still buying water. I paid over $4000 for this system. And I can't even use it. I called the finance company to hold payment on the contract. Never buy a system from these people. Their product does not work as advertised and you will be expected to spend hundreds of dollars to try and make it work. Our previous system worked just fine, soft water, no smell, easy on the required salts. The Leaf Home system for which we paid $8,000, does none of these things. From day one, the system has stunk, literally. An intense sulpher smell comes from the water. Numerous visits by usually unavailable technicians have not solved the problem. What we have been told to do is drain and sterilize the water heater ($350.00 dollars additional) run city water through the system (which bypasses the Leaf Home system, and did eliminate the smell. Returning to the system returned the smell.) And, change the annode on the water heater ($160.00 additional). None of the suggestions worked. I am expecting to be told to replace the hot water heater and all the pies as the next suggestion to rid us of the smell. In addition, you are stuck with their filters and parts. Your annual maintenance visit will cost about $700.00. Half of that is the UV system. So, after the initial cost, we have paid over $1,000 in the first year of ownership. if there was a negative 5 star review id give then a negative 5. i had a a whole house system installed last year over $6000 dollars and had problems sediments leaving deposts on the toilet and glasses in dish washer. [[HIGHLIGHT]]i had them out to address the problem several times and it was never corrected[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] . i had the anual service done (298 dollars) and when he went to replace the sediment filter under the light filter the guy who installed it never removed the wrapping film off of the filter. the filter wrapping had black mold growing on it. i called an asked for some compensation and asked for one free anual and was told the would give me a hundred off the next anual and i told them i thought to ask for 10% which would be around $700. [[HIGHLIGHT]]there customer service is the biggest run around ive ever experienced[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. but I can say that once they finally fixed the filter it has been doing exactly what it was designed to do and have not experienced any more problems. DO NOT BUY!!! $7000 FOR A SYSTEM THAT DOES NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!!! LIED ABOUT THE WARRANTIES, SERVICES, TRANSFERABILITY, AGE OF THE COMPANY. JOHN the sales manager told me he's right below the CEO for the company (lies) and that the CEO wouldn't even care about the lies I was told. I purchased three of their systems with promises of it being "better than bottled water". That in fact, is not the case. Everybody that I have talk to you has lied to me about what I have purchased and paid almost $7000 for. When they came and did a test a week after installation because the water tasted like straight up chlorine, the test proved that the water wasn't anywhere near as good as the bottled water we have been purchasing for my toddler at Costco. The sales person lied to me, the sales manager lied to me, and the installation team had to come out twice to try to figure out why the system wasn't working properly. This caused a huge spike in my water bill due to them flushing the entire system repeatedly. My house was 4 months old when they installed my water filter, soft water system, and RO. I was told that I would get a water test after they ran the system with the new adjustments and now I'm getting told that I would have to pay for the test to be ran on the system that is faulty. So, they know their system is substandard and cannot meet the promises made by their sales team. I would have never purchased from this company if I would have been told the truth. I was clear about my water needs and they lied to get the sale. The sales person lied to me about the warranty as well. This company does not offer the same warranty as rain soft water filters, but claimed that they did before I purchased the item. They also said that the product would be transferable to the next homeowner, and that proved to be a lie. There were so many lies told me and the cost was outrageous for subpar quality and THE WRORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Jay the salesman will say whatever he has to and no one I have spoken to will make this right. They keep finding ways screw me over. Here we are four months later and I still have not received my 30 day water test. It's absolutely ridiculous and I'm left wonder where to get filters for this machine so I can avoid the lies further. Beware! They're only 2 years old, I was told 20 by Jay the salesman. That's an 18 year discrepancy and something else that would have made my answer no to his sales pitch, but these people don't care because I paid cash for the system so they're not out anything by lying to me. I'm a veteran and have spent years of my life serving in the Middle East so if they will lie to me and treat a disabled veteran this way, think about the lies they will tell you. Go to a company that won't have to lie to make a sale. Got this today when I was told they were coming to test my water but made up something to avoid doing their job and keeping their promises again. " Apparently Jay was offering to come out and provide a complimentary water test for you. The company does not provide that so he was doing it on his own behalf to make sure everything was going well for you. If you'd like a water test and avoid having to pay for it I know they have free test kits at some home depots where you can just send them a sample and they run the test for you. If you wanted to schedule a service with us and have a retest be a part of it we would have to process a service charge onto that. I hope this information finds you well and let me know if you have any other questions." So my "free 30 day test" is now something I have to pay for. Who knows what terrible things are still in the water here?! The test they did do proved Jay lied about the quality of their filter. It's no where close to the bottled water I purchase so my son can drink clean water. I've made calls and contacted this company on FB as well with no resolution or compensation for the lies. I was sold a system for over $8k. after multiple service calls, and no soft water, they replaced parts on the tanks, still no soft water, then they told me that I was sold the wrong system, they replaced the system, left the old tanks in my basement, never gave my the price difference between the 2 systems and I still did not have soft water after 8 months! My toilets, sinks, tubs, showers, and clothes were all turning orange from the rust in my water. I had another company perform a water test and my water was indeed hard water, I had them replace the soft water system that I paid over $8000.00 with a new system that cost under $3000.00 and I now have soft water. This company has Not contacted me to pick up their equipment nor given me any kind of refund. I am now in the process of hiring an attorney to try to recoup my hard earned dollars! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Installed 11/29/2023 System - Model LWC Water Condition and LWIMF Chemical Free Iron Filter. We have readings from LHWS meters that are the best in the business, as he stated, that show an increase or no change in HARD water. Rep is stating now that the system will not remove build-up on surfaces that come in contact with AIR? We also have an admission by the company that the bubbles supposedly REMOVE hard water, so WHICH is it? The System does not operate as stated in their SALES PITCH and they are unwilling to stand behind their product! We have had no change in build-up on our surfaces or any change to the items that they claimed in their sales pitch: Sales Pitch: 1 - Hard Water will go down - 8.5 with System ON and 6.4 with System OFF - Checked in December 2022 2 - NO Hard Water Surface Crust/Build-up - BUILD UP ON SURFACES. Apparently NOW because of "AIR" contact but WE were not TOLD this when it was installed! They stated this 5/19/23 3 - Use Less Detergent - Brighter Clothing - NO CHANGE 4 - Use Less Shampoo and Body Wash - NO CHANGE 5 - No longer have to use Bleach Tabs - No build-up in Toilet AS stated by Sales Rep - "That will be a thing of the past" WE are using Bleach Tabs again. This company does not honor their contracts. My contract said Installation includes all parts + labor. They used old piping to complete the job. I asked them to replace the pipe and they said hire my own plumber to complete the work and they were not going to complete any more work. This is after 3 trips to the house. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!! They use sub contractors only and their communication is horrendous... I'm not a typical consumer, I'm in the real estate industry and work with Pros all day every day and they are not PROS in any stretch of your imagination. The one star is for 21 attempts to make my well water right. They try but well water is very noticeable nasty. They make no water softener filtration system that cleans and softens unless you run it every night. I have 3 units 1 for the smell 2 for the color 3 to soften. And pretty soon the system will be compromised by the dirty water and will not clean eny more. read more

Be extremely careful when dealing with this company. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING until you thoroughly read the details and are 100% you want them to install. They will attempt to charge you 25% if you have to cancel. Luckily I had not signed anything. The sales person that came to my house was extremely nice but once we begin to question the cost which they stated started around 8k compared to 3k with other companies, it got ugly. Go with someone local and not a big corporation. The last person I spoke to was apologetic once he realized that I had not signed anything and offered all of these deals and even told me he was going to mail me my water test results, which I still have not received. read more

This company condones unethical sales practices. I was sold a "salt free water softener". What I actually received was a water conditioner which does not remove the hard water water like I was told it would. The sales representative didn't show me the company's product options and only showed me this "low maintenance, highly effective water softener". When this issue was addressed with the company, the company did not hold themselves accountable for their unethical sales practice. I wish I would have read the complaints on the BBB website before using this company. Use a company that is trusted in your area, not this fraudulent company. read more

I contacted Home Leaf Water Solutions because Culligan gave me the run around. So I set up an appointment. Kyler, the operations manager showed Saturday, May 20th on our initial appointment. He was at my home for about 3 hours. Testing water, and recommending what we need to take care of our water issues. We bought into the program since they have a guarantee on workmanship and he was positive about the outcome of our water situation. He scheduled the install the following week. The installer (Jackie) was very nice and respectful. Although he said that he had a background in heating and cooling but had only been installing these water systems for a month and didn't really know what he was doing. He forgot parts that were critical for the installation, so after driving an hour for the Install he had to drive back and fourth again to get those parts. This installer broke the flange on our newer sediment filter that he removed, and also broke a component on the back of our previous water softener that he removed. He didn't inform us about the damage he caused on these items, we ended up noticing it & pointed out the damage to him. He also hooked a line up wrong on our reverse osmosis system, so when he left the house to get the parts he needed for the filtration system, that line blew and flooded our cabinet under our sink in our newly built home which caused water damage inside that cabinet, water was able to work its way in through the cracks of the bottom piece in that cabinet that then started draining down between & behind the other cabinets next to it & onto our floor under the cabinets which started to run/leak out the front of the trim piece that sits on the floor giving your base cabinets that finished one piece look which means there was water sitting in those areas that you cannot get to to wipe up. Once that line blew we ended up shutting our main water supply off & gave him a call to let him know lines were leaking on the RO system HE JUST INSTALLED so he had to come back to fix the issue then go back yet another time to get the parts he needed to finish the install. He was at our home from 10am-9pm that night. Upon leaving he told us that the reverse osmosis tank needed bled for proper start up. After bleeding it and realizing that it wasn't working I contacted the main office & they gave me the run around saying that my wife had forgot to turn a valve on that's why the tank wasn't filling. However, this was incorrect. All the valves were on, the tank was bad right out of the box. So they sent the field supervisor (Joe) out to replace the tank and that issue has been resolved. However, when talking to Rich (the office supervisor) he was quick to return the initial call to get my other issues resolved. He told me to call him back or text him at anytime with issues. I've sent him pictures of the damages that were done from the installer. He has been dodging me since last Wednesday May 24th. Today when I contacted him I told him that I was going to mention this situation on my review since it was part of a promotion that I have. He also said that leaf home water solutions is not responsible for my old equipment. Their installer that they subcontract out, broke my old equipment which is less than a year old and they don't want to fix the damage. This is sad that we trusted this company to do a great job and they have a workmanship guarantee, then they break my belongings and don't want to fix them. He instantly replied and said that Kyler the operations manager would contact me. I have not heard from anyone. We have had a terrible experience with this company. Hopefully they will decide to make this situation right. We're hoping for a better outcome with our new system. This is our experience with this company. Please read reviews and do your research. I will be glad to talk to the owner of the company if that's what I need to do to come to a resolution. Update: I spoke to Kyler today 5/31/2023. I have city water and cannot stand the taste and I'm aware that the hard water is horrible for appliances hair etc. I finally got around to getting a water system and am so glad I went with leaf home water solutions. My salesman, Brian, was very professional and knowledgeable and explained what each unit does. I felt the pricing was fair and was comparable to other companies but felt the lifetime warranty and no chemicals put them above the rest.
