    Sesame crusted tofu

The food was a good idea poorly executed. The orange cauliflower would have been great, but the kitchen peppered the heck out of it and ruined it. The sesame tofu dish had a nice crunchy crust, but someone in the kitchen poured some sort of vinegar on it and it reeked to high heaven. Ultimately a big disappointment.

We flew from San Diego and this place was highly recommended for vegan spots in the city. We had an excellent experience here! Great ambiance, food and service. The Lapsang Souchong BBQ was our favorite!! Slaw was so flavorful and creamy!

The food here is absolutely amazing! Everything we've tried has been delicious. My favorite dish is the cauliflower tacos -- they're to die for! I highly recommend subbing the blue cheese for the aioli; it's perfection. My husband loves the ramen, and the orange cauliflower is another must-try. If you visit in the evening, they serve complimentary focaccia bread, which is so fresh and flavorful. Nearly any dish can be made vegan, and they do an incredible job with the substitutions. This is definitely one of the nicest upscale vegan-friendly restaurants around. Our server, Elizabeth, was incredible -- so attentive, kind, and genuinely friendly. She made our experience even better. We'll definitely be back! Also, the restaurant is super cute!

Fresh food, inviting and open atmosphere, great indoor outdoor spot with a unique all vegetarian menu. They source all their food from their local farm. Loved the presentation as well and the menu rotates regularly inviting a new selection of flavorful dishes. I especially love the decor and how it opens up to the outside creating a relaxing atmosphere.

Ambience was good and it's a nice find in Colorado. The serveurs are nice, warm and welcoming. It's a good date place for people who want to have a good time. Food wise it's okay. Knowing it's a vegetarian restaurant I had hoped for more fresh ingredients and recipes. Most items were premade. Good luck catering to dietary restrictions like sensitive stomach. Jain food is also a miss here. Settled with a salad and vegan desserts

Thai Green Curry. A disappointment, reminding me of plain vegetarian fare I tried decades ago.

A disappointment. The dishes tasted retro vegetarian, reminding me of plain vegetarian fare I tried a few decades ago. SERVICE: 2.5. The waiter was reasonably efficient, lacking both a smile and warmth. He seemed irritated. The person who seated us was friendly. AMBIANCE: 3.0. Would have been helpful to have shades on the windows to block the afternoon sun. FOOD: 3.0. Retro vegetarian plain dishes. - Calamari Style Oyster Mushrooms (appetizer): 5.0. Excellent. - Thai Green Curry: 2.0. Plain and dissappointing. - Jamaican Jerk Tempeh: 2.0. Plain and dissappointing. We noticed that the couple dining next to us didn't even finish half their main dishes before departing.

Big space inside and outdoor patio that allows dogs. Happy hour have limited menu for food. Service was fast. Mocktails are great. Spicy thai - 5/5 Mocktail gin and ginger - 4.5/5 Oyster dish - 4/5 - lacks little seasoning ow very creative Leaf plate - 3/5- liked pita and hummus. the rest of the dish was not that great Mushroom and crab sliders - 4.5/5 - really enjoyed them. good bite size. Jackfruit nachos - 4/5 - nacho chips were not good at first. So they prepared again the same dish for us which was good.

A really cute spot to grab a healthy and meat free meal without being obvious that there isn't any meat. I got the vegan crab cake, and while it didn't taste much like crab cake, it was still delicious and so filling. The bread was soft and hit the spot, there was a good amount of sauce, and the meat substitute (I think it was tempeh) was so savory and delicious. And I love that it comes with a salad. My friends got the harvest bowl and they weren't as happy with their choice. I think Leaf would have been better off labeling this as a salad rather than a bowl, because my friends expected it to be warm but everything was cold. But salad would also usually require some sort of dressing and there wasn't really any sauce or flavoring.

This is a good place to go as a vegetarian or vegan in Boulder but maybe not gluten free. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. I have tried to come previously on a weekend night and they had a 45 minute wait so their busyness is quite varied. I am gluten free and vegetarian and they had quite a few options for me. Me and my partner ended up splitting the caprese sandwich with gf bread and their huevos rancheros. The caprese had good fillings and they use strawberry instead of tomato which I loved. The gluten free bread though was pretty terrible. I have had a wide swath of gf bread and this one really didn't hold its own. It was dry, crumbly, and lacked flavor. The fries were good and so was the ketchup which is saying something as I usually hate ketchup. The huevos rancheros was similarly good but not great. They served the tortillas within the pile of beans and pico and eggs/tofu. This meant it was more like eating a veggie burrito bowl with bites of corn tortilla in it which wasn't my favorite, and isn't what I expect for huevos rancheros. The tea is exceptional though, no notes. The server was very nice and attentive, the decor was great, and the ambiance was nice.

    Brunch burger

I eat here whenever I'm in Boulder and the food is always delicious. My favorite time is brunch, the menu has almost too many choices but it's always a hit.

Another 5 star lunch at Leaf! Amazing vegetarian options and Kombucha. The sweet potato fries were AMAZING! Salty, crispy goodness. I eat here every time I'm in the Boulder area and it's always spot-on!

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

Always exceptional food, beautiful presentation, with sustainable practices, this is the place to celebrate a special occasion. The current menu, which runs through June, is the final menu by the current chef and it highlights Costa Rican cuisine. The chef and staff have gone to great lengths to showcase this Latin American dining experience. The Barramundi was by far my favorite on the menu, although that is relative among the 7-course meal. Everything we tried was knock your socks off delicious. I love the quiet dining room, with a chance to visit with others sitting near you at the chef's counter. Their fermentation program is second to none. One thing that always makes a meal memorable is the service. The Bruto team takes care of everything and knows just about everything food or drink wise. Again, I counted the kitchen staff: The ration is 1 to 2, meaning you will feel like a VIP with the personal interaction. It's not fake either; these young men and women want you to have an enjoyable and memorable time. What an impressive restaurant and food laboratory where they are always pushing themselves for tasting excellence. Bruto = passionate knowledgeable people

The kitchen, 18-seat dining area and foyer are all one open, neo-industrial space in which concrete and steel are somewhat softened by lighting and splashes of color from food or dishware. They have two groups of seating per evening, one around 5pm and the other at 8pm, which they stagger into 3 groups each so food can be batched and presented appropriately. Everything is thoughtfully curated and choreographed, from the beverage selection to the portions of the plating that you get to see between courses. But the choreography does feel a bit stiff and cold at times. While the maitre'd was lovely, it was harder to engage with the other staff. I generally avoid alcohol pairings (my taste buds get overstimulated after the first few rounds), but I did enjoy my cocktail from the a la carte menu. Through our 7 course tasting menu, we explored a fun fusion of local and Central American cuisines. The bread mentioned in previous reviews is gone, but we traveled from ocean, plains, and forest in various presentations of small plates. Some of the bites seemed less inspired (of course adding pate and caviar is going to feel fancy), but other courses like the red snapper ceviche and chocolate + papaya dessert were playful, tart, and funky. You can tell that sustainability is also a huge part of the consciousness here. Be open minded to different flavor and texture profiles and know that not every dish is meant to please everyone. We ended our meal with a copy of the evening's menu as well as a satchet of house-made spices meant to evoke the essence of this Costa Rican fusion. I appreciated the effort that went into each course's preparation, but I don't know that I would pay for another experience even with a different menu.

The business itself is a pay at the counter service, and they bring your tea and food to you. They had many choices outside their fixed menu offerings and I look forward to going back to try their tea. What I liked about this tea service is that once you are sat down, and your choices ordered, its just time to hang out and relax with your friends. There are no other interruptions or check ins, which for me I really liked. Some might wish for more service, but this was really nice to just be uninterrupted to be with the people I came to have tea with. Listen, this is a new growing business that is trying to make it. I don't think they had a huge budget for really nice quality furniture items and I didn't love the quality of the decor or seating, but you know, I really love that this is a young business who is making a unique and original offering in our town and you can tell they are doing their best. I am confident as their business prospers we will see general improvements in decor and furniture. Its a super casual environment with tables close to one another. I would much rather have this, with great quality food and tea, than some over done beautiful place with an expensive tea service that taste horrible or makes me feel ripped off (like the other place I reviewed that we found is now closed!! ....guess we weren't the only ones who didn't like being given small portions for ungodly prices) I really recommend anyone to come to try this place out. The Chai High Tea is a delight and I am sure the other tea offerings are just as great. I look forward to trying them all over time. Since my adult daughter and I were going to be there for a little celebration I made the reservation through the restaurant's website requesting to be seated at a 4-person table. Unfortunately upon arrival the restaurant not only did not even check to see if they had us on the reservation list they also didn't allow us to sit at a 4-person table. The restaurant wasn't busy at all on a Monday night so they simply treated us like a "walk-in" guest. Mmm...what's the purpose of the reservation link on their website if they don't value it?? They took us to one of the smaller two-person tables. After sitting there for 5 minutes or so perusing the menu, we kindly asked one of the workers if we could move to the bar seating that overlooks the busy Broadway. This was the game changer. The elevated seats and the tabletop made the ambience feel more like a special occasion. Thank goodness...this was the only bummer part of our dinner. The rest, fortunately, went quite well! Food: It looks like another Indian/Nepali restaurant at first but in my personal experience, this one ranks the best or top tier for their authenticity. The below is directly copied/pasted from the electronic recipe of ours: -PANI-PURI (Vegan/DF) $8.00 -Ice Tea $3.00 -Masala Chai $4.00 -COCONUT CURRY WHITE FISH. (DF/GF)$20.00 (Medium heat) -KHATTI MITTHI BHINDI (VEGAN/ GF) $15.00 (Medium heat) -WHOLE WHEAT BREAD $3.00 Pani-puri came out after our two main dishes although Pana-Puri is more of an appetizer (lol). Tho two main dishes were cooked in a medium heat and yet they were extremely doable even for someone like me who is not much of a "heat" person. My daughter is not a big fan of naan bread so as she is way more versed in the very cuisine (she had just come back from India spending a month to be trained to be a yoga instructor with a certification) she suggested we get the thin wheat bread. This bread went efficiently well with our two mains. Both iced teas were a great accompaniment to our whole meal. And again, how authentic everything tasted and how meticulously everything was cooked and prepared, it was something we couldn't ask for better quality. A bit of a disappointment with the whole reservation situation and yet the quality of the food broke even at the end. Service was good to decent although it wasn't exceptional but our basic needs were met.
