I hired LeafDrop twice to first replace my gutters/downspouts and later to add gutter covers. The first job included one section with gutter covers. The first job went well and I liked the covers so I asked them to return and add covers to all the gutters. Unfortunately, the second job was given to a young, relatively inexperienced crew who did a very poor job. I had to call the owner back to have their work corrected. He wasn't too happy about my call but he did come out to do the correction. Having had a bad experience with the second crew, I later wrote the owner asking guidance on why the gutters were dripping along the gutter front, worried that it was connected to the poor second job. Gutters are not supposed to drip when they are empty of leaves/clutter. Mine were clean and the drips were significantly large drips. The owner NEVER responded to my questions. He could have responded to me with an answer to calm my fears about this being a normal feature of gutter covers (I have no idea if this is true or not) but he NEVER responded to any emails, calls, texts, etc. even though I gave him plenty of time to respond between tries. I take offense that once he had my money, he dropped caring for my needs/questions. I expect professionalism from companies that I hire. I try to be cordial and fair. I avoid being bombastic or angry. I approach a question with an openness, but when I am totally ignored, I do get angry. Thus, this review that I've been putting off for some time. My advice if you hire this company is to make sure you have an experienced crew do your job, not the owner's son who is learning the trade and who is not teamed up with an experienced crew to guide and correct him at the time of work. Hopefully, you'll be happy with the result and not have to call them back, because you may never see them again! read more

The gutters are really great quality and the purchase and installation process was wonderful. We got the larger size and they look really sharp. It was pretty cool watching how they do the install, too--My preschoolers aspired to be gutter workers for months afterwards. Erik is a pleasure to work with and was really nice about my kids watching the installation. A little over a year from installation, there was one spot where it was leaking and it took a little back and forth to get someone to come out, but come they did and found (and repaired) a second spot I was unaware of. When I bought my house, there were clearly deficiencies in the gutters and several spots of rust. During heavy rains, there were a few points that were essentially waterfalls just outside windows due to poor design and areas of rust. The old gutters were a pain to clean too. Dan came by recommendation of Jesse at JNR, a company I've hired twice to clean roofs of two different properties. I knew a ballpark of what gutters typically cost from another home project and Dan's estimate for 6K gutters with leafdrop traps was more than reasonable for the upgrade. I could've gotten several other quotes, but I went ahead with Dan and Leafdrop based on the estimate, great communication, and consistency. Most of the time, when you schedule home services you're given a several hour window block and sometimes the crew doesn't even call if they're running late. Not Dan or his crew! They are responsive, show up when scheduled, and communicate well if they're running late. There was a point on the roof line where the old gutters didn't line up well and when the downspout got clogged, created a mess (see photo). Not anymore! I would highly recommend Leafdrop. Hire LeafDrop Gutters I had these guys out here this morning to replace my gutter system. My old stuff was made of steel and had rotted out in places and was becoming more or less ineffective. Hopefully this will be the solution too the moisture issues in my basement. They did an excellent job as far as I can tell. I think they were in and out of my house in 5 hours...maybe less. The crew as extremely polite, courteous, and made sure to get my input on some modifications. It all worked out great! I thought the price point was high, initially, but after talking with my father I agreed to have the job done. Actually I think that their price was extremely good considering other options. Our gutter and downspout install didn't go perfectly smooth. Communication problems can happen when one person bids and a different person installs. The craftsmanship was good both times but the first time the downspout would have emptied onto a path instead of into the garden. I was worried it could create a black-ice patch in winter. But they came back without hesitation and fixed the problem. read more

BEWARE! This company did very poor work installing our gutters. The gutters didn't slope towards the downspouts, there were gaps between the fascia and gutters (could see daylight between them), they tried to charge us for leaf traps we did not purchase. When we expressed our disappointment, they illegally came on to our property and torn down the gutters, damaging our new siding and fascia. Very hostile and extreme measures in our minds. read more
