I just got the water heater fixed. Now the roof has issues. And since I live in California I'd have to schedule everything thousands of miles away and hope for the best. Unlike the water heater, I don't have a trusted roofer. In fact, I've never had a problem with my roof. So this was going to be a completely new experience for me. By the time I got the message it was already 6pm est. so I figured I'd just leave emails and phone messages and hope someone would call me back the next day. Yelp doesn't seem to have too many highly reviewed roofers in Raleigh, so I just called and emailed the top few that I saw. I did get the answering machine on every call except for Olde Raleigh Roofing. Daniel the owner answered even though it was after hours and he was very nice on the phone. He explained what might be the issue and said he'll contact my tenant directly and send some guys over. Once they were over there they would take pictures and email them to me with a price quote. If approved they would start work immediately. I thought great let's do it. I also wanted to get some other quotes and compare them, since I've never had a roof issue, but only 1 guy called me back (one of the larger roofers) and that was 4 days later. And even that guy didn't follow up with my tenant. Long story short, Daniels guys came out, took pictures, Daniel emailed me the pictures and gave me a quote. It sounded fair and came with a warranty, so I approved the work. After the work was finished Daniel sent me another set of pictures of the completed work and emailed me the invoice and warranty for me to sign and send back to him. The roof looked great in the pictures and my tenant was happy. It's already been a few months and no more leaks. I'm very happy. Overall the experience was great. There were some communication problems early on, which may have been due to the long distance and/or tenant. But in the end, everything was great and I'm really happy to now have a trusted roofer on my services list.

William cleaned the gutters and inspected the porch gutter. He discovered that water had been leaking under the shingles due to improper roof construction. For a reasonable price he replaced a section of rotted roof and shingle. Later that week it rained and I noticed that there was still an issue with water leakage. I called them and William came out that day to inspect. He made some additional repairs (about an hour of work). The next morning it was raining again. I inspected and found that water was still leaking. About 10 minutes later William CALLED ME and asked how the repair was doing and if he could come take a look. He spent the next 8 hours making major repairs and correcting major defects caused by the contractors who originally built the house. All of this was done at no additional charge. I am pretty sure he took a loss on our house, but he was determined to get it right and do a good job for us. That is rare quality in a repair technician/contractor these days. So I highly recommend Gutter Cleaning Pros and hope that you all will use them in the future.

There weren't a huge number of listings for gutter cleaning services but I saw two positive reviews for Gutter Cleaning Pros and decided to give them a shot. Scheduling was quick and easy. I was looking to have someone come to blow the roof and clean the gutters. in both person and via text, I was very explicit that about the gutters and that they have older guards on them and would need to be slid out to clean the gutters - so I was clear that the gutters needed to be cleaned. Micheal quoted me $120 for what I thought was a fair price for what I had asked for IN WRITING. The tech comes out to do the service and is here less than 20 minutes! I go half way up on a ladder and the tech did nothing but blow off my roof - no gutter cleaning at all. When I contacted Michael, he was slightly argumentative and then copped that "there had been a miscommunication". Just beware of what you ask for and what's actually done with this company. You can find people to blow off a roof for way less than $120!
