We went for Sunday breakfast, we sat at the bar and got served right away, we got our food right away, and our waitress was very attentive. The pancake and french toast were delicious

Great food, looks like a popular locals hangout, and service is wicked fast! I had the He-Man with ham and hash browns and basted eggs.

A very cozy, clean and cute traditional American diner located in Auburn! I was here right before Christmas so it was super busy but our food came out super fast and service was excellent. 5/5 The food was pretty good. I just wish my hash-brow were a little bit crispier then it will be perfect. Besides that I definitely will come back here whenever I crave for American food. Hopefully they will continue to be voted best in Auburn in 2023! Looking forward to come bạck!

In the area for work and needing a place for coffee, breakfast, and to catch up on emails. This was perfect! Nice and quiet. Friendliest staff. Amber was awesome! And the food hit the spot. Recommend the Denver omelet with cheese!

You walk in, sit down, and the place seems to understand exactly what it is there to do. The food is good, the portions are solid, and it is the kind of spot where you can actually relax for a minute instead of feeling like the table is on a timer. It feels like somewhere your coffee might get refilled before you even realize it is low, which is a very specific comfort. I love a polished brunch place as much as the next person, but sometimes you just want breakfast that tastes like breakfast and not like a chef had a branding meeting about it. This hits that lane perfectly. The room has that familiar diner rhythm too, where there is a little movement, a little clatter, and somehow it all still feels calm. my mom would love this place, which may be the highest compliment I can give any breakfast spot in Auburn. Go when you want good comfort food and zero nonsense, especially for breakfast.

Ordered steak and eggs which was described as chuck steak. They mean ground hamburger meat but when the waitress asked if that's what I meant, i responded by pointing at the menu item and saying "the steak?" $17 for a big hamburger patty, burned inedible hashbrowns, and burned toast. My mother asked not to include certain ingredients and they came out anyway too. Took a long time which I would expect for how I order it thinking it was a steak but pretty egregious for a hamburger patty. They've recently painted but took down all their personal effects so it looks very clinical and awkward. Does not help they are having a severe small fly infestation so not comfortable ambiance to sit in for chatting, like their lunch lulls used to be good for. Sounds like they're asking for some leniency in transition but they might as well close. I won't be coming back until I hear from someone else it's worth my time an

We were greeted by a nice young man who was going to take us up some stairs, my husband uses a walker and the server noticed it immediately and had him take us to a different booth which I appreciated. they have a very extensive menu for breakfast lots of choices. My husband got the farmers breakfast and substituted the biscuits and gravy for the pancakes. He said the gravy was very good and ate most of that leaving the biscuits which he said were too many. I had a Yukon omelette which was absolutely huge and I brought plenty home to have later. It was pretty good but that was the extent of being good. The hash browns were not only over done so they were far to crispy, but so much salt I couldn't eat them. the server brought my toast which was burned and I had to ask for a new piece, she should never have even brought that to the table. Service was fine, they kept our beverage glasses full but the food was just so so. Not sure its worth at trip back.

The place gets busy with customers and other Turkish families, which is a good sign. You order up at the counter when you walk in, then you pay and they give you a number to take to your table. I was always thought all mediterranean restaurants are the same, but this one is a little different for me. Everything has yogurt in it and I'm not too crazy about sour yogurt. The restaurant is in a little shopping center, there are actually quite a few places to park. The restaurant is very nice, clean and airy. It's a self order, and they bring the food to your table. The prices are around $20 a dish. My sister ordered all the dishes, pizza, chicken, wontons, they all looked delicious but the tastes are so different for me. The wontons are not as tasty as Chinese wontons and they're not soft. The chicken is tasty but not very flavorful. The yogurt is very sour and rich. I had some slices of pizza, but nothing to rave about. Anyhow, at least I know what Turkish food is like. This one is supposed to be the best one in Tacoma and my sister family love it. Like they say, it's not my cup of tea.

Pulling into the parking lot, I have to admit I wondered if my GPS had developed a sense of humor. The restaurant sits in an older strip mall that doesn't exactly scream "destination dining," but the inside has a cozy, old-school Texas diner feel that was actually pretty charming. Unfortunately, convincing my two kids that this was a better choice than IHOP turned into a losing battle almost immediately. We waited over 40 minutes for our food, which, in kid time, is roughly equivalent to serving a prison sentence. Every five minutes I was reminded that pancakes at IHOP would have already been eaten, digested, and forgotten by then. To be fair, the food was good. I ordered the Philly Scramble, and my wife ordered the California Eggs Benedict. The quality was solid, but the pricing left me scratching my head. The California Eggs Benedict, which came with tomato, avocado, and bacon, was nearly $30. For comparison, I've paid less for Eggs Benedict at places in downtown Seattle. Seeing a $28.99 Eggs Benedict in a strip mall in Kent felt like finding luxury hotel prices at a gas station convenience store. The pricing surprises didn't stop there. There are extra charges for things like splitting orders, automatic gratuity, and add-ons. We had asked for strawberries with the French toast, which may have contributed to the final bill, but it wasn't entirely clear when I reviewed the receipt. Unfortunately, the handwriting on the check was difficult to read, making it hard to understand exactly how everything was itemized. Since I wasn't completely sure what had already been included, I ended up leaving an additional tip just to avoid accidentally shorting someone. By the end, breakfast for our family came out to around $115. Now, credit where it's due: the service itself was friendly, and once the food arrived, everyone enjoyed it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I can see why people like this place. The restaurant has a unique charm and definitely feels different from the typical chain breakfast spot. Overall, Mary's Fine Food serves good food and has a pleasant atmosphere, but the long wait times and pricing felt hard to justify for a family breakfast. Three stars. Not a bad meal, but next time my kids vote for IHOP, they may actually win the family election.

The owner is delightful and engages you in conversation as she packs the food . The restaurant is showing its age, but remains one of the remaining soul food restaurants in South King County in Washington. I had the fried catfish, chicken, and fries. The thing about soul food is that it all about the seasonings. Now, I prefer the cornmeal/flour coating over batter; the owner does this well. The catfish was well seasoned and the fish was tender. This is the fine line between frying it until it's as dry as the desert or perfection as was done here. The same was for the chicken wings. Light coating, crunchy, and seasoned well. Now her cornbread is good, but she should throw her fires in the trash. They are overcooked and just a let down to an otherwise nice lunch experience. Since she only does take out or cater, the place looks more like a place of storage than a restaurant. It is quiet with mini refrigerators displaying desserts and soda. Surprisingly, the owner does not serve shrimp. A bit of a surprise and I would quickly get them for lunch if they were prepared as well as the catfish. I would rate higher, and keep in mind the the prices are higher than you would expect but happy to pay again if she smoothes out some of the edges of her space and sides that accompany such wonderful catfish and chicken.
