If you don't know Chris Biro, let me tell you, that he's the father and the guru for all parrot training and free flight for over 20 years. It was very interesting and educational, because I not just got an education how to free flight my bird, but also the Parrot training technology and the science and behavior behind the bird. I wouldn't have gotten all this information and education with any other pet trainer. I highly recommend Chris classes to anyone who love their bird and wants to learn generally more about parrots, but also to all those people out there, who want to know how to free flight their parrots safely. Chris was just fantastic in every aspect. He's knowledgeable, smart, passionate, patient, wonderful and articulated in his classes. Without a doubt a completely different vibe from the other places we have tried. One was dirty, another had no sense of how to build trust with a new animal, and the third told us today with complete indifference that they could only make room for us in three days when what we were describing was a potential emergency situation that they examined our dog and sent us home for just a few days ago. The office has a great feel to it, very clean, and the staff are super nice. They fit us in the same day we called even though they were busy. Unlike the other places, the Springs staff were very gentle with our dog. He's less than a year old and has yet to fully trust vets in general but was willing to go with them to the back for the examination. Afterwards, they were kind, patient and detail-oriented when explaining our options. I understand Austin is growing and that there will be pains as the city adapts to accommodate all the new people living here, but I think it's fair to expect people to be kind and understanding, especially in a medical situation when one wants to believe the office cares about you and your pet like family. I think Springs is that kind of place.

She has handled and titled multiple dogs in conformation, obedience and protection work. Some meds he had with him, and the others he phoned in. The second visit, KissMe's adrenalin spiked with delight when Dr Fox came in. He saw Dr Fox as a friend comlng back to visit. Dr Fox even offered to trim KissMe's toenails and went back out to his truck for the clippers. The cost for his mobile visit was more than our local "country" vet and less than the emergency hospital in Austin. In between visits, Dr Fox refilled prescriptions.
