She want to know me as a person not just the symptom I was seeing her for. She has a great bedside manner, is professional, warm, non-judgmental and genuinely interested in the whole you. She take really detailed notes and asks a lot of questions not for the sake of up-selling you or anything but for ensuring she provides holistic care. I was pleased when I schedule my subsequent visits that she refers to those notes in follow-up sessions. For example, she knew my cycle better than I did and provided me tips and treatment to reduce my PMS and cramping. I've never seen a doctor so engaged in patient care. Period. In terms of my treatment I had never had acupuncture but had prior experience with dry needling which I didn't enjoy to say the least. She explained the process and was really attentive by making sure I was comfortable through the entire experience. I was AMAZED as I began noticing DRAMATIC improvement almost immediately, I felt a sense of calmness and almost euphoria following my treatment. This important for me to share because I work in a rather demanding position in downtown DC and her office is blocks from my office. I walked in stress and walked back to work with a sense of calmness even amid the hustle and bustle of the busy city. Also within a week or so, sleeping better and my migraines began to subside. My partner was extremely interested in receiving treatment as well and he also received acupuncture and cupping treatment which resulted also in almost immediate symptom remedy.
