I have been with this group for several years and have what I believe to be a sizable account (multiple houses, cars, trucks, trailers). More than once, I feel as tho I've had to do their job for them. I've also noticed I get responses back via email at minutes to closing. I think it's time for me to shop around. If you want to pay 23 years worth of Home insurance premiums only to be denied by the ins company this broker placed the homeowner with? Then talked down to in a manner that this Broker NEVER does anything wrong?? This is your Company.. Its almost as if this Ins broker found the most hated ins company and started placing clients with it out of spite. Very obvious this "Family Owned" biz is looking out for their extended family only,, and customers are a Distant #2,, as is Pluto distance.. HBT Insurance (Thomas (TJ) Phillips - Agent) we switched to this agency mid-2013 and I can only say I wish I would have done so sooner! There was substantial savings along with amazing customer service by our agent. This is for both our home and multi-car policy. Since the initial policy was written we've had several changes that were handled quickly and efficently. We have recommended TJ to our friends and as our kids have moved our recently each have gotten new policies though TJ. Our daughter just switched and the savings were amazing for her! TJ makes sure you have the correct level of coverage and doesn't just go for the super savings. He's concienious to make sure if there was an accident our family is covered at the correct levels. I have been a customer at HBT for over 12 years. I stay because they take such good care of me! My insurance agent, Kelly, does all the leg-work for me! Every 6 months she compares my current policy to all the other possibilities to make sure I get the best deal. If getting the best deal requires a change in providers, she does all the paperwork for me, highlights where to sign, and mails it out to me. I haven't stepped foot through their door since the first day I signed up -- which is totally convenient. Plus, every time I have referred a friend to her, she calls them INSTANTLY which I appreciate. In the times that I have needed to file a claim, even though she COULD push me off to the actual insurance provider, she took the time to explain my options, go over my deductibles, and help me understand the PIP to cover my injury claim.
