Ropa Vieja Shredded Beef - Small
    Steffanie C.

I truly love this place. I visited the #5 restaurant for the first time a few days ago. I was surprised how much larger this location was, and they seemed to have everything Lechonera offers on the menu. Don't be scared away if you don't speak Spanish, the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help you out. We went around lunch time and it was pretty packed. All the food was super fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the Ropa Veija and it was so flavorful. It's possibly my new favorite. I also love the beef stew. The restaurant does have seating, but when it's busy it gets pretty tight. Definitely give it a try!

I was in the mood for some mangu with salami and queso of course my husband made it happen. We pass this deli/restaurant a lot and omg I loved the fact that the food was fresh. As a fellow New Yorker this is the closest food to deli Dominican food from where I'm from. The food wasn't greasy which was very nice! The flan was so tasty not to sweet or sugary. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Recommend going before 10am it will not be busy!

I can't believe how many times I've passed by this awesome spot, not realizing how great the food is! Friends have been raving about the quality & quantity of their combos, and I wish I had listened sooner. Meals seem to be in the $10-$15 range, but their portions are HUGE - I could barely close the container at first. Instead of just one, the staff were kind enough to let me choose two entrees for no extra cost to try both the Ropa Vieja and Pernil Asado on top of yellow rice and a side of plantains - it was only $12! I'm not usually a fan of pulled pork, but the marinade and cook was just perfect! Everything overall tasted fresh and was served hot. Even though it looks small on the outside, there's actually a notable amount of inside seating. There are plenty of comfy blue booths that fit 4-6 people lining the back wall. It also seemed like most of the orders were takeout, so it never got too crowded while we were there. I loved how friendly and quick the service was, and the staff didn't seem at all bothered by my endless questions about the options on the menu. On a mini side note, there's a box where you can enter for a massive cruise discount by the door. My friend entered and won recently, so you just never know! Will definitely be back soon :)

My carne guisada tasteless and greasy. First and last time at this place.

Worst place to eat at. Service was the worst. The young lady with an attitude and the food was not appetizing. Rice was buen and the carne guisada was greasy with no taste. Then the brought the volume up and you literally had to scream to place your order. Won't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I bought the seafood paella and baked chicken, but couldn't enjoy It way too salty.

All I have to say is that they are doing false advertisement with tripletas. First red flag was that the girl asked if i wanted mustard or just mayo. Im from Puerto Rico and used to eat tripletas every weekend so i know what its suppose to be and its just highly disappointing to see tripletas in the menu and then receive this.

Eggs over medium, bacon, potatoes, toast. Nothing exotic. Everything correct. One standout worth calling out: the potatoes. I have read reviews complaining that they come out rubbery, and I want to go on record saying that was not my experience even a little bit. These are Keke's signature and they were perfection. Crisp where they should be. Soft where they should be. If somebody else's bad potato day scared you off, order them anyway. The bacon was amazing. Not "fine, it's bacon" amazing... actually amazing, the kind you notice while you are eating it rather than after. Service was 10/10 and quick. Bennie took care of me and he was excellent, attentive without hovering, and clearly working hard for it. Much respect to him. Is it a little pricey? Sure. My check ran a bit over twenty dollars with coffee. But everything is expensive these days, and I would rather pay it somewhere that is actually trying than somewhere phoning it in. Two things worth knowing before you go. They close at 2:30 every single day, seven days a week, so this is a breakfast and lunch operation and nothing else. And parking is the Waterford Lakes plaza lot, so you are fine even when the place is full. Keke's is not trying to reinvent breakfast. It is just trying to get breakfast right... and on my visit it did exactly that.

I was really excited for the guava matcha. While I love their matcha, I was a little underwhelmed by how little guava flavor came through. You can see the tiny layer of guava in the picture, and I would have loved a bit more of it in the drink. I am willing to give it another shot with extra guava! The carrot cake croissant was incredible! I also tried the jalapeño goat cheese scone and was pleasantly surprised by the level of spice. I could eat that every day! And of course, service is always great. The space itself is one of my favorite parts of Lineage. It is bright, airy from all the natural light making it such a great place to hang out!

It was pretty terrible with zero sweetness and pretty small... like Napoleon. I also got a pastry in the form of a chocolate croissant, and the croissant part was one of the best with a super crispy crunchy exterior, but there could have been more of the chocolate filling. It was more than some others I've had, but still not enough. Is there ever enough filling though? It's not convenient for me, so I doubt I'll be back to give it another try. I was expecting some toasty and roasty coffee. Plenty of other coffee places popping up.
