Home-cooked meal makes my morning happy. Family-owned helping a local family makes me happy. My happy place! Owner Johnny came out to chat with customers! Martina and Victoria are the best! Thank you.

Breaded pork dinner with corn and mashed potatoes

The Thursday special - breaded pork with mashed potatoes and corn, also comes with soup or salad - I got the chicken gumbo - very good. Martina was ready to take our order as we sat down. She also checked on us frequently for drinks. I like the ambiance, lightly playing country music (K92) on in background.

This is a true hidden gem of winter park. Went here and wasn't disappointed. Their food was phenomenal and all at a great price as well. Their service was super friendly and fast. I highly recommend the Johnny's Omelette....delicious!!! Excited to become a regular here!

Popular local eatery for breakfast. We seated ourselves and the hostess brought us our drinks. A few minutes later our food order was taken and we waited. Not long at all to be honest. Out came our food as ordered hot and tasty. Eggs were perfect hot and runny. Hash browns crispy and the bacon crispy but not too. Toast was buttered in the kitchen but they gave me some more on the side. French toast was a good portion and very good. A very good breakfast. Both of us ate for about 20 bucks. The interior was bright and clean. Protip: you know it is a good spot when you see the Sheriff's deputies are there.

I really enjoyed coming here. The food was tasty, the portions were good, and the prices were very fair. We ordered a chicken fried steak with eggs, a ham n cheese omelette, a half portion of french toast, and coffee. First off, coffee was good. The chicken fried steak was small, but justified by the price. The French toast was very generic but good. I noticed some dishes excelled while others were just OK. One thing that was consistent were the prices, and the prices certainly pull people in. Not a bad option for breakfast. Service is outstanding.

We came in at the right time we were able to sit right away. It is a seat yourself place, but it does get very busy and there are some wait times but the food was really good. Even the water tasted really good. It didn't taste like that nasty Florida water. I like how they walk around serving coffee and water. I think I drank like 3 cups of coffee but the cups are like small so it turns into one lol the home fries were very well seasoned 10 out of 10 recommend.

I lived just down the street from Johnny's for like three years when I first moved to Orlando. I feel bad that I never went, or even heard of it. But lately it's been getting more press and is winning more awards in the periodicals that I read. They have some of the best breakfast in town, I love breakfast, so I came here one morning to see what was up. It's in a strip mall, so you would think there isn't much opportunity for adding personality to your exterior, but Johnny found a way. Huge Christmas window paint murals adorn the giant windows, making this exterior very fun and very festive. Eye catching. The service was legendary. You get greeted immediately with a good ol' country howdy when you enter the door. Like the ones I'm used to and miss about back home. You get a lot of huns and shugs when you're ordering and being checked on. And the server comes along to see if you need a coffee refill literally every five minutes or so. It was like being in a movie, the service. It was excellent. The menu all looked so good, it was hard to choose, but I ended up going with the Johnny Omelet (Bacon, ham, sausage, onions, green peppers and cheese topped w/sausage gravy), after getting confirmation that it was a good amount of food for guys my size. It was very good! Tons and tons of fillings, All diced very finely, so you got a little bit of everything in each bite. Just enough gravy on top, sometimes diners drown their food in gravy and take away from their meal, but this gravy was tastefully done. And the hash browns, griddled to a crispy perfection. Very nice. I also got to sample the Very Special Breakfast (2 eggs, hash browns, 2 silver dollar pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, 2 links of sausage, slice of ham toast white or wheat). Lots of little bites here, everything done well. Over medium eggs were perfect. Overall, the décor felt very homey, the service felt very familiar, and the food was solid. I'm glad I didn't know about this place sooner, so I'd weigh a lot more. Thanks for an excellent meal, Johnny.

Prices are affordable and portions are large. Everything is tasty! Service was efficient and friendly. It's a nice sized diner. Plenty of seats. Our go-to breakfast place when we visit the UCF area.

Pros: Ambiance is super quaint. It's only a strip mall, but the holiday décor that was painted all over the windows, and the plethora of holiday décor decked all over the halls inside, really gave this place a jolly spirit. ' Service was so good. Everything came out timely, was hot and delicious, and the server even came around to our table like every five minutes with a coffee top-off offer. Just like the movies. Food was delicious. Everything was well-cooked, the portions were good, and the huge menu definitely had something for everyone. Cons: No real cons. Everything was really good. Love a good diner. Tips: Get an omelet. Get hashbrowns. Get the pancakes. You really can't go wrong.

My Pops and I are regulars at Johnny's. It is a family owned business and they treat everyone like family here! They remember names and orders here which makes me feel so special. The menu is expansive and full of variety, yet they get the orders out hot and quick! The price point is very reasonable as you can get full breakfast with $8.50 specials! Yesterday I had the polish sausage breakfast and everything was perfect! I don't know of a breakfast place with creamier grits which I know all my fellow southerners will appreciate! Eating here reminds me breakfast at grandma's. 10/10 recommend!

Wanting a little upgrade from a breakfast sandwich from a fast food place, we decided to stop at this diner before a day on the lake. I am so glad we did! I don't typically do chains so I appreciate that this place only had 1-2 locations. I think that the other breakfast chains in central FL are a little overpriced and just not worth the wait. Here we were able to walk up to the counter and sit down. We're served drinks immediately and had our orders in within 5 min. They are quick and extremely friendly. And their breakfast special is so worth it! They have several combos for $8.50 each and total for two people with coffee and hot chocolate we ended up paying around $24 which is unheard of for a breakfast these days! Please check this place out and give them your business. For a quick filling and delicious breakfast, you won't be disappointed

The parking lot was not full when we got there and was able to park in the first spot next to the outdoor seating area. We were greeted upon entering and told we could sit anywhere. When she returned, she told us about the specials, what some of her favorites are, answered any questions we had, and took our food order. Mom ordered the 1 Pancake. 1 Egg with Bacon and and Sausage. I had the Beef Short Rib Hash (Scrambled Eggs). The food arrived quickly. Jason delivered the food to our table and chat with us for a bit. My hash was served deconstructed and not mixed together like I expected. Everything tasted good. I especially loved the Grilled Biscuit that accompanied the hash. Grilling the biscuit added an additional texture and flavor of buttery goodness. Jason and Savannah were attentive and checked with us periodically to make sure we were good. Coffee refills were available. By the time we were ready to leave, the restaurant was almost full. Thank you Jason and Savannah for the good customer service and care. I would definitely return for that Grilled Biscuit.

On a Saturday morning, my boyfriend and I dined here around 9am. We were lucky to score one of the few parking spots since there isn't many and parking is tight. Upon walking in, I was fairly surprised at the size of the place inside since it looks much smaller from the outside. Service was pretty decent. Not overly personable, but had what we needed. I ordered a scrambled egg plate with patty sausage, home fries, and a blueberry muffin. The blueberry muffin was my favorite, it was really good. The home fries were less desirable. I wish they were crisper and maybe had onions with them to add more flavor. My boyfriend ordered his breakfast with an extra order of toast and we had to ask our server to bring it out because it was forgotten about. The food could of overall used more seasoning. Also for the quantity and quality, I thought it was very expensive.

This is one of the most friendly and welcoming businesses in central Florida, and I absolutely adore them for it. This place is counter order with full table service. I believe before the pandemic that you self served drinks, but the full service change has definitely been for the better. They've got a rotating list of specials that you can see on their instagram too. This place always delivers quality food. Their fried chicken is excellent, I've never seen an overcooked egg, their grits are amazing, their gravies are perfect, their biscuits are to die for, and their Mac n cheese is creamy delicious goodness. I haven't tried their lunch menu myself because I can't bring myself to not order breakfast. Between the Minnie pearl, three little pigs, seventh trimester, their specials, and even their sausage sandwich, nothing on a lunch menu could ever tempt me away. And don't even get me started on their bakery! Their bakery is a separate counter with cakes, cookies, handpies, brownies, and whoopie pies. Their selection is rotating and I've genuinely never been disappointed. Usually I have to take their stuff to go because I'm so full from breakfast, and it's usually pretty rich.
