Keke's is an Orlando brunch favorite and for good reason! This location feels so homey and the service was great. Our server was super attentive in making sure we had all that we need and our food came pretty quick, hot and fresh. We ordered their mimosas, which were very tasty with home fries (a little salty), sausage links and their Nutella and banana stuffed French toast. I'm not usually a sweet breakfast person, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to order this year round dish, and so glad I didn't! I definitely recommend this dish, even if it's to share since they plate it so beautifully in a way you CAN share it and also you definitely won't regret it! This is an OK place for breakfast. It's not horrible and it's not the best. On this particular visit, the issue was with the hostess who seriously just needed to find a job that is better suited for them. The food was very good It came out warm and fairly quickly and I think the server was very good at his job. It's just that when you're greeted at the front door with the attitude that we were as soon as we walked in, it takes away a lot from the experience. This morning I stopped into Keke's and we had the most wonderful experience! Our server was Reagan, and she was so kind. We each had a coffee that was continuously refilled. I usually order the stuffed french toast combo that comes with two sides (I got the bacon and over medium eggs) but this time I decided to order the "Florida fruit topping" which consists of bananas, apples, and strawberries. FYI you will be charged for three separate fruits so keep in mind you will be charged $20 for this meal alone which is something I wish I would've known as I was ordering. Some of our dishes were not plated well. One of my friends' main dish was almost overflowing and could have been on a bigger plate. Serving us so many small plates took up all the little room we had on our table. One of my friends found a long strand of hair in her dish. The manager was kind enough to offer another meal but the gesture was respectfully rejected. She just lost appetite for the rest of the meal. Things happen even with the best intentions and safety practices, but I would lose appetite too. Our server Benny was wonderful though. He made sure to refill my coffee several times and arrived with our items promptly. They get pretty busy though so you might have to flag a few other servers. Today I am experimenting with lunch at breakfast. You can't really go wrong with eggs and sausage. So I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. My waiter mentioned he would have to check with the kitchen because lunch started at 10:30, it was 10:04. I appreciate him checking and not just shutting my order down. The kitchen said yes! Thank you kitchen staff. The wrap is served chips and a pickle. Nice portion. Enough to share with two. Nice music playing, not too loud. I was able to carry a conversation comfortably. After many recommendations, I decided to stop by Keke's for brunch with a friend. We went for Sunday brunch and were surprised to see it quite empty. There were only about 2 other tables when we arrived. The host was very friendly and seated us as soon as we arrived. The prices on the menu were fair for the food and food portions. The waitress was also very friendly and offered substitutes for proteins if we didn't like anything. I decided to get the eggs benedict and it was cooked quite well. My son loves Keke's so whenever he has a chance to pick our brunch spot, this is what he picks. I've been to a couple different locations and this one is far superior. Keke's has such a fun breakfast menu. They have lots of options and the pancakes and waffles are so good. There can be a bit of a wait to get your order but it's worth the wait. It is only open limited hours so be sure to check the hours before going. It's not like an all day breakfast joint. But if you are looking for that then there is an IHOP nearby. What an incredible way to start 2026! Our waitress, Jasmine, delivered hands-down some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. She was extremely knowledgeable, genuinely humble, and made us feel truly taken care of from start to finish. Our server was a lovely young lady named Lindsey in Waterford lakes location who informed us when we asked if she was going to UCF that she decided to work on Labor day even though she was off to help pay for medical school. After she walked away I thought to myself, WOW, she is a perfect example of a good kid. I was glad that Keke's had the insight to hire such a hard working young lady that is trying to achieve a greater goal and not making excuses nor feeling sorry for herself. She reminded me of a poem I once read, " a bird will fall frozen dead from a bough without ever having felt sorry for itself". A beautiful, intelligent, young woman with grit and grind in her spirit. She was wonderful from beginning to end and touched our table to see if we needed anything even when it was obvious we had what we needed which is extremely hard to find these days. I find that most restaurants you go to these days the staff is huddled up hiding from the customers talking with other staff members or checking their phones and they give attitude when you ask them for something yet they are all friendly when they bring you the check because they want a good tip at the end of your meal. I will be returning to Keke's just based on how we were served by Lindsey and hopefully we get Lindsey again. And if we don't , good luck in medical school Lindsey. We completely forgot this Keke's was here. We were actually at First Watch down the road but the line was insane. I did a quick yelp search for an alternative and remembered Keke's was just down the road. It was busy but they looked well staffed. We were told the wait would be 10-15 min but we only waited 2-3 before being seated. Our waiter was very attentive, our orders were correct and perfectly made, it was quick but we also didn't feel rushed. Honestly, I think we enjoyed our food here more than we do at First Watch. Delicious breakfast spot with a huge selection of items. Their coffee is strong without being burnt. My favorite kind of coffee! I've had the Western omelette and the Southwest omelette. Both are excellent. They are scramble style instead of folded. I prefer folded but they were still delicious. There's plenty of filling in both and I don't think I finished either of them. The home fried potatoes are really done well. And their wheat toast is legit and not "wheat" if you know what I mean. Really like the place. Ok here in Waterford Lakes (near Orlando) to see my sons and took all (including their GFs) to this place. Our server Bennie was immediately attentive and I can see he knows what he is doing. The menu is a typical breakfast/lunch food which are my favorite meals so I'm happy. Got a Bellini (I'm a Bloody Mary type of guy but they did not have it available) which did the trick and tasted real good. I ordered a traditional breakfast as I am a traditional man and the easiest meals to prepare really tells you how good you are cooking. The table (8 people) got a well round variety of dishes so we will have a real good point of view on this places quality. Look i eat my fried eggs "over medium" and a lot of places don't do this correctly but not this place. My eggs were perfect and the bacon was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy. The rest of the table ate pancakes, waffles, omelette ect and by what I can see everything was a hit. Well I don't give 5 stars and this is one that could get one but it was just breakfast. We were in the Waterford Lakes area to look at another store nearby and remembered that this location was here. It was earlier in the morning, so we were ready for breakfast and this was a perfect fit. They have a good sized parking lot and there is a decent amount of waiting space in front of the restaurant if you have to wait for a table. We only waited about four minutes for a table, and only because it needed to be wiped down for us to sit. A server was over shortly after, and although it was our first visit to this location, we are regulars to the chain, so we were ready to order and he was very accommodating. I had the combo with a chocolate chip waffle, two eggs scrambled with american cheese and a side of sausage. Husband had the sausage and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. The food was up really quickly and everything was as ordered. The food was brought by a runner who hadn't remembered to bring any syrup for the waffle and my husband wanted hot sauce for the omelet, so it took a couple minutes to track down our server and get those things, but not a huge deal. My wife and I hardly ever go out to eat any more since COVID. Everything is too expensive, the service and food is usually sub-par. This Keke's is a huge exception. We are always very pleased after visiting this Waterford Lakes Keke's. It can be a little pricey, but part of that is because we order multiple drinks and extra side dishes. It is worth it though because the food is excellent (pass on the home fries, though) and the service has always been outstanding for us! Carlos was our waiter today and he did an incredible job - we could not be happier! The booths are roomy and comfortable and the atmosphere is soothing and peaceful. Food was good I got the portabella eggs with home fries. The reason for the 3 stars doesn't have to do with the food but more so with the service. Again food is good but service can be better. Yes it was a Sunday, and it was busy, so the long wait to be seated and even the long wait to be served is understandable, but when my mom was asking for clarification on the menu for the "make your own combo." The waitress just said you can't get a toast as a first or second choice and instead it would be an extra cost. Which there's confusion on the menu because for both choices you can order toast as part of the combo, anyway my mom ordered the toast at an extra cost and said no butter. Well, you guessed it, the toast came with butter so I happily ate it but my mom didn't get the toast she longed for. It's a little thing but hopefully the menu will be more clear one day.
