We visited Ledges Pub for dinner in Aug 2023. We were a party of 6 and were seated right away. Our server was named Paul and was a delight. He had great recommendations for drinks, was very attentive and shared some fun stories about the resort where the restaurant is located. We started out with some of the restaurant's cocktails including a Portuguese Manhattan, a Blueberry Margarita and my favorite the Summer Sunset which was fruity and the perfect vacation drink. My husband enjoyed the Margarita but i think it was a bit too sweet for him to have more than one. We shared some appetizers including the Cauliflower Ceviche, which was a bit spicy for me but enjoyed by the rest of the table and then some BBQ Pub chips which had a yummy blue cheese sauce drizzled over them. For entrees our group had Fish n Chips (the fish was seasoned so well), Baked Scallops, Stuffed Mushroom, and the Spicy Mussels. My husband, who had ordered the Stuffed Mushroom, was very happy with his choice which came with rice and veggies. The only complaint was that the brussels sprouts which were part of multiple veggie side dishes were not cooked enough but all in all the food was really good. We also brought some dessert to go including two orders of the Creme Brulee Cheesecake, one Chocolate Turtle Cake and 1 piece of Blueberry Pie. We ate here in the restaurant once during our stay at Seabasco because it was always SOO crowded. The one day we ate IN the restaurant, we had great service. i enjoyed my summery cocktail and my son enjoyed his mocktail. We got takeout another time and it was faster. I got the Maine blueberry and strawberry salad- added chicken (both dine in and take out). it was divine! I don't always get salads but I am glad I got this one. We were there in August and I still taste it and my mouth still waters when I think about it. My husband his haddock. He has a terrible wife who hates seafood, so he gets to eat it whenever he wants when we go out. He wasn't disappointed. It's definitely understandable why this place is so packed. read more

Stopped into Ledges on a sleepy Monday evening and had an amazing experience. I had the Haddock sandwich (beer battered) and my boyfriend had the fish and chips. Both were very good dishes and the portion size was plenty for both of us (and he is a black hole when it comes to food!). The view is incredible from the restaurant and the decor really gives a feel for the deep history at Sebasco resort. Our waiter was very prompt and friendly and the food came out hot after a short wait. I would certainly recommend the restaurant to anyone in the area!! read more

We arrived at the restaurant at an extremely busy time when nearly every table was full. Despite the craziness, our server was incredibly pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend the tuna nachos (which had plenty of tuna!) and the blueberry salad. The black bean burger was a little dry, and the homemade barbecue potato chips were definitely homemade, but you really couldn't taste the barbecue flavor. My son's burger was very good, but he asked for a fried egg but received a scrambled egg on top. The portion sizes were excellent! Given the packed restaurant, we expected to have to wait a long time for our food, but it came within a surprisingly short time. My entire experience was 5 star up until this point ... I stayed at this resort for two nights completely depending on this restaurant for my meals. The first night although there were minor hiccups were Very special. We enjoyed the first night so much that we decided to go back for lunch and dinner the second night. Lunch was amazing. When we went back for dinner our bartender charged us for 2 extra drinks...an entire extra round. When we tried to bring this to his attention we were completely gaslight and instead of making a scene we accepted this. Steer clear of this restaurant if you plan on having more than 3 drinks because they are will completely try and take advantage of you. read more

Make an outdoor reservation on the patio! The food was 4 star but the view is 5 star. We appreciated that it has a number of options for vegetarians - salad, veggie sides, soup and a pasta. The service was average speed but we were not in a rush anyways given the view! read more

We are here several times because it was very convenient as to where we were staying at the resort. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor area, and the view from outdoors of the ocean is very nice. There are a lot of families there, so be prepared for there to be a lot of children. The food was just okay. They had all of the Maine speciality food on the menu. The prices weren't outrageous, but I'd say I've had better versions of everything at other places. That being said the convenience and view was totally worth it. If you're staying at the resort I'd say it's worth checking out. It feels like you're part of a community. read more

It took an hour to get 2 soups and longer than that for rest of food. The lobster in the roll was a 3 out of 10. Lobster meat wasn't good and the roll was on the stale side. Nothing was comped. We weren't the only table. Many tables experienced the same issue. read more

After having bad experiences with Sebasco and writing it off, we decided to give it another chance after about 4 years of not going. We were able to get a table out on the patio overlooking a beautiful sunset over the harbor. Sadly, that was the only positive part of our experience there. We certainly had an entertaining meal, what with the wandering shoeless 14-year old serenading us with an electric guitar (?) and the frequent visits from nosey seagulls. The seagulls would not have been a problem had there been staff to chase them away, but for a solid 10-15 minutes of the seagull stealing food, breaking glasses, and pecking at children, there was not a single server outside for any of the 10+ tables that were seated. The food was not great- soggy fries and creamy salad dressing straight for a bottle. They somehow managed to make muscles taste bland despite the chunks of uncooked garlic that sat on the place. Finally- the service. This was the worst part of the meal. Our waiter was stand offish. First he picked on me for not ordering an alcoholic drink, and never refilled my water that was empty for the entirety of the meal. He then forgot about the drink order he had taken from my friends and had to go back in to "remind the bar". Aka to put in the order in the first place. He only visited us three times throughout the entire meal: to take our orders, to clear our plates, and to give us the check. The icing on the cake: when he finally tried to redeem himself to get a good tip, he told us he assumed we were from New Hampshire. Sorry Sebasco, we will NOT be going back. read more

So it's 9pm. The kids are hungry. Everything is closed, even the Fatboy. You refuse to get McDonald's while your vacationing in Maine. So where do you go? Welcome to Ledges. Yes, it's in Sebasco, a resort you will have to drive through to reach the restaurant (don't worry, they don't mind). Yes, it's a pub, half the people there will probably be having a beer at the bar. But the food? It's good. In some cases, really good. My kids got the lobster mac and cheese, which was huge, creamy, and full of lobster (they both loved it). I split a fry basket of fish, clams, scallops, shrimp, and fries. Shockingly, having mentioned to my server that we were splitting it, they brought out two plates, each a perfect half portion. The service, now a single server at around 10pm, was excellent. And even better, that very server snagged us the last slice of Maine blueberry pie. Served warm! Ledges is not the best meal you can get in Maine. But it was, by far, the best meal we could have gotten at 9pm. And any other time of day, I still think it's good food with great service. read more

We stopped in for lunch last Saturday. We started off with an order of the wings. The wings were overcooked and poorly cleaned (there were still little hairs where the feathers we plucked). One of the wings had a very distinct fishy taste to it. The wings came out without blue cheese or ranch. We asked twice for blue cheese dressing and didn't receive any. We decided not to order anything else. Not a great experience. Would go back for a drink but will pass on the food. read more

Every year we've been coming up to Sebasco Harbor Resort, simply because of how beautiful the area is, and how welcome we feel every year. One of the best things about Sebasco has to be The Ledges. First off, service can be slow at times when it's more crowded, but that is to be expected. The food here is never bad, and the staff is always friendly. Next time you eat here, be sure to try the lobster grilled cheese! Also, you can't beat the view you get from the restaurant looking out onto Casco Bay! read more

We were looking for a restaurant that was between Wiscasset and Pompham beach. We got here and it was very quiet not a lot of people mid week and it was 5 o'clock. Beautiful resort like little town but not seemingly uptight. We went into the restaurant/pub and requested a spot outside. It was quite breathtaking as you said freight on this little Cove with beautiful sailboat All around you. The food was also very good, hot and seemingly fresh. We had a great dinner here tonight. The waitress was extremely friendly and attentive as was the bartender. I asked for a non-alcoholic margarita and they went out of their way to make sure it was tasty and what I wanted. Went here for dinner because we were staying at Sebasco and didn't feel like driving anywhere, lol. It was adequate. Staff was very friendly, food came quick, not great but nothing bad, either. Got the Captains Platter: the clams and scallops were really good, they let me double my clams because I don't eat shrimp, but the haddock was bland. Onion rings were quite good, though. Spent two glorious nights at The Sebasco Harbor Resort. The Ledges Pub has a terrific and delicious menu. Clam chowder was silky and filled with clams. Lobster grilled cheese was brimming with lobster meat and the bread was fantastic. Sara the bartender creates special cocktails! The blueberry lemonade with sage simple syrup was a winner. She is a delight as we sat at the bar every visit. If you have the good fortune to experience the in-house entertainment of 'The Saltwater Hillbilly' you will not be disappointed...still have a smile on my face and his songs in my heart...very uplifting! The views are spectacular, but my family and I had a horrible meal here the other night. It was not at all crowded, but it took forever to get served (15 minutes for drinks to arrive) and the meal was really, really bad. I had a scallop/clam basket (3 small scallops and a few measly clams) that came so soaked in oil I could hardly eat them. Ugh! And my wife/kids means were equally lame. It's expensive to boot! Veer clear of this place until they change their food. Sorry. read more
