We recently discovered this place tucked into a popular shopping center in Bethesda. We have been pleasantly surprised with the portions and quality of everything we have tried so far. Even though this is a pizza place, the spaghetti (both plain and with meatballs) and chicken parmesan are excellent. The pizza is also great and we loved the square cut style. We have plenty of other options to try when we return and that is also a great feature of this place: they have a wide variety of food. On top of that they sell their sauce for use at home. The staff has always been friendly and famliies seem to enjoy eating here. Definitely stop by if you are in the area and craving a wide variety of food. read more

This was my very first time having Ledo Pizza, and it will certainly not be my last... because I discovered I LOVE LEDO PIZZA! One of the things I appreciated the most, and that made the pizza unique to other pizzas, was the fact that each and every slice had the perfect ratio of toppings that were ordered. There was no slice (or square) that was predominately cheese only or sparse/stingy with toppings... Which to me meant that every single bite was packed with flavours and love. Our server was very attentive. The cups of water and soda were never empty, and we were checked in on every 10-15 mins or so to make sure that everything was good. I was also massively impressed with the price of the pizzas!!! Not only are they delicious... They are also easy on the pockets/affordable!! I look forward to having Ledos Pizza again, and judging by the sheer number of locations they have across the DMV - there will never not be one close by!! read more

This is by far my least favorite Ledos. Friends just invited us over and it was really bad. I've personally gone 4-5 times through the years and each time I tell myself no more. Usually went for convenience sake. But no more. Pizza never has enough sauce or cheese. Crust is like a super thin cracker. Repeatedly bad. read more

At first I did not like it here. Service was horrible and food was bleh. Now, this is my go to lunch spot. There service has improved tremendously since before the pandemic. I always do takeout, so I'm only referring to that service. The food? Maybe but I just stick to what I know and like. Since the crust is thin the pizza can seem pretty greasy. I like their cheese pizza as well as their spring chicken pizza. Their white pizza is good but leaves you feeling heavy. They also offer a gluten crust that's isn't too shabby. Their Caesar salad is good and that's because their Caesar dressing is close to perfect. My favorite thing on their menu is their cheese bread. I do not recommend the cheesesteak. It's been a long time since I've had Ledo's but the pizza tonight did not disappoint and was as addicting as I recall. The seasoned fries were tasty and all disappeared, but are probably better enjoyed in the establishment - takeout is never kind to fries. I was told when I ordered (in person at the counter) it would be a 25 minute wait, Friday night, sure thing. Everyone is ordering pizza for kids and or soccer teams or sleep overs or movie nights or just cause it's Friday night. I Wandered around picked up a few groceries and when I went back the whole team was all hands on deck managing the (insane) influx of orders. The phone literally did not stop ringing the ticket machine was non stop (the stuff nightmares are made of if you've ever worked in a kitchen), and the line of people coming in the doors was a steady flow. (With most of us blocking the foyer and flow of the servers, sorry!!) Due to all of this, It took a while longer than I was told initially to retrieve my food, but thankfully the amount of time it takes me to get my pizza home, isn't a matter of life or death, and the extra 15-20 minutes I waited didn't impact anything other than my family finishing 10% more food. Ordered an 8-in pizza today with pepperoni tomatoes and onion. I got an 8-in Pizza but the toppings had not been baked with the pizza but appeared to have been placed on after the pizza had been baked. So the pepperoni had not curled up, the tomatoes were like for a salad and the onions were raw. Strange. read more

This pizza is gooood. I love that they put lots of cheese and lots of toppings. I used to think that the crust tasted like cardboard, but I've since changed my mind. The crust is irrelevant because the rest of the pizza is so good. Sometimes they get really busy so it's best to order ahead of time to avoid having to wait around. My favorite pizza is a simple cheese and mushroom. I would place Ledos in my top 10 places to get pizza. read more

Went with the kids today and they rated the spaghetti and meatballs a 7.5 out of 10. I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza - got the 14 inch pepperoni. The service was great and we got a nice booth. Also, you can walk next door for great ice cream. We will be back soon. read more

I was out for an elite event searching for the handmade ice cream spot. While I was not at the right ice cream location I did order a gluten free pizza and two types of wings. 6 bbq and 6 old bay. The pizza was amazing! I will be back for more of that great gluten free pizza. The wings were big and juicy and the staff was so courteous and kind. I like this spot. read more

I love love love this place! Pizzas are so good! We are from Manhattan so in-order to impress us with pizza is very HARD! We always get the veggie thin crust!!! So amazing... their Cesar salad is out of this world. The Caesar salad's lettuce was and is ALWAYS fresh lettuce just enough dressing and Super crunchy and tasty croutons. Much better than many fancy restaurants I've been to!!!!!' LIDOS has a few locations, we went to the one in Bethesda few days ago and Jim came to our table, what a gentleman. He asked us how our food was and had a great conversation with us. We love going there. We wish they would deliver pizza.... unfortunately they don't. My kids really like Ledo Pizza. It's sorta Sicilian, but the dough is softish and flakey. They advertise using smoked provolone and the pepperoni is cut thick. Their Caesar salad is terrific and they fill orders quickly. Though I prefer other styles of pizza, I'm giving five stars because I am a fan of this particular franchise. They want to make you happy, fixing issues with no questions asked about whether they caused the problem or you caused the problem. You know what Ledo's is I'm sure. Delicious pizza- my favorite Salad Soup & Breadsticks combo. They're always tryin out something new like their "Crunchy ravioli" or their "Pancetta Pasta". Something a little Italian with a twist. So what about this particular Ledos. I just had great customer service here from a couple of the waiters that helped me as soon as I came in and during my meal. I asked for a place to plug in my laptop- they directed me to a booth. The waiter was nice, checked in on me, and was just on point. Really nice guy. There was a small correction that needed to be taken care of all on the bill. He fixed it immediately. He apologized. Frankly I'm very surprised by the poor reviews. I've been coming to Ledo for years and the pizza is fantastic. It's very unique with great crust, quality ingredients, and delicious flavor. The pepperoni is my favorite and they give you thick cut pepperoni with one per slice (the slices are small squares in case you aren't familiar, so this is generous). The rest of the menu is a bit more hit or miss. The mozzarella sticks are great while the skinny chicken is basically a salad with a 2oz piece of chicken. read more

Don't go here. Went for the first and last time tonight. Ordered single item for takeout. As wait time approached half an hour, was told it would be ready in "four minutes". By the time I got it, another 15-20 minutes later, no longer cared about it and would rather have just gone hungry. No one apologized for, or even acknowledged, the wait time. Though they did fill orders for various people who came and went while I waited. I love Italian food. There is no food that is worth standing around waiting for 45 minutes. Ordered here more than 30 times, ordered the same thing all the time for my grandchildren, I'm a 62-year-old grandmother up my grandchildren come and visit me and I always order them the same thing a large pepperoni and onion. I was actually having my dinner at Ledo's when I placed the takeout pizza gave them my phone number and everything they obviously don't even keep a record of that every time I call I have to give them my number again in my name. I paid and left when I got home that's when I realized it was not what I ordered, instead it was a green pepper and mushroom.. my receipt said pepperoni and onions. I called, spoke with a very sweet young lady, who told me that they could make the pizza again, it was raining and I did not feel like going back out in the rain with a wet pizza box and dragging my grandchildren in the car with me out in bad weather at night. The young lady said that they would give me a credit next time I call just to give my name and phone number and that they would make a note of it. I accepted this as satisfactory. Everyone makes mistakes. I have never had a problem before with this place or any Ledo's that's why I have been a customer for over 50 years. I just had a retirement party and went on vacation, when returning 12 Days Later I called to get my remade pizza, I called gave my information they knew nothing about it. Additionally I asked to speak with a manager named cam, was a very nice gentleman he told me to call back when I was ready to order, which was going to be later that afternoon. I called in advance to order my pizza I was told to call back when I was ready to order closer to the time. 2 hours later my daughter went into labor, which obviously I took precedence to a pizza. But the next day my grandchildren were visiting with me so I called asked for cam explain the situation that happened a day prior I called ask for cam this was yesterday Friday around 7:00 p.m. I asked for the manager cam, young lady would not identify herself she said he was there but he was too busy, for me to call back Saturday and ask for a general manager, that they will be in on Saturday this is not satisfactory this is not how you treat customers I should have just taken the pizza originally back to the store in the pouring rain at night and drag my grandchildren out and got my money back. I explained the situation she put me on hold for 5 minutes got back on the phone told me I got to call back another day that they could not do it today they were too busy this is unbelievably extremely unprofessional. I told them don't worry about it I will never order from you again or any other Ledo's thanks to how I was treated by these people. I have been a customer since I was a child, I used to eat as a child at the original family in Adelphi Maryland who opened up this restaurant before it was franchised. They would be completely disgusted and their mother would have went crazy after hearing how I was treated. She is now deceased but they started a wonderful restaurant chain this place is Despicable and does not represent Ledo's at all... I am completely disgusted with this place. They are so unprofessional they don't know what they're doing the pizza is wrong they don't correct it nor do they seem to care at all I told them I have all my bank statements proving all the orders I have placed from them they did not want to even see any of that nor do they honor anything I will never go back to this Ledo's or any other. I'm contacting the franchise Monday morning about this issue this was unbelievably unprofessional. I actually would not trust eating anything from this place after I was treated this way. Now I feel like I should have just taken the pizza back that night in the pouring rain when they gave me the wrong Pizza to begin with and got my money back and never went back there again. I simply did not want to go out at 9:00 at night with my grandchildren and the pouring rain in the dark and drag a wet Pizza Box in and out of my car. I have all the photos of the pizza still on my phone, which I will be sending to the franchise. Along with my receipts showing all of the purchases to date, including the specific incident along with photos I took of the pizza. Go to Anthony's Pizza it's a good decent pizza place that is local and they treat their customers wonderfully. The subs are great customer service is awesome when they deliver they're always on time. The food was fine (our pizza cheese was burnt) and the service was alright (teenagers on summer jobs?) The only issue we had was the bugs. The main dining area is nice and relatively clean, but when venturing anywhere unattended (i.e. Toward the bathroom) you may be attacked by bugs. I saw at least 20 (no exaggeration) fruit flies fluttering around some dirty dishes right next to a vacant table. This pretty much ruined my appetite. Normally I love this Ledo's but today was extremely sub-par. The first large pizza only had precooked bacon on half instead of all of it. Easily rectified, but the bacon wasn't the normal precooked due to a supplier issue. Wish they would've told me when placing the order as this bacon is crap compared to the original. What a grim experience. Ordered a pizza and paid for it over the net. Ledo's later sent an email saying there was a problem with the order. I called and said that if there was a problem, I would of course pay at the store. However, when I checked my credit card, I had in fact been charged. I printed out the pending charge on my computer, took it to the person I assume was the manager, and he told me that despite the charge on my credit card for the pizza, he would insist I pay again to get it. The fact that this place was so crowded and the food / service was so bad speaks volumes to the lack of decent cuisine in the immediate area. Chicken tenders over cooked dry and way too much breading. Chicken Parmesan sub over cooked dry way too much breading. Very little sauce on the sandwich and the fries where below average. The toothpick used to hold the sandwich together was inside the bun nice touch. Beverage options are pretty much fountain sodas or you're out of luck if you want anything other than water that is healthy to drink. Our meal ended up being free because they screwed up the charges on the check a couple times. The third time they brought me the check the server had used another customers credit card to pay for my bill by mistake. So the manager tore up my bill and was clearly upset with the server. To add insult to injury the phone for take out orders rang off the hook and the ringer volume was set to 11. Chain food franchise at its worst....I'm sure the founder of Ledo's would not be proud if he dined with us last night. The people running the place are in way over their heads. read more

We brought my very senior in-laws here because they love the staff here. We come on the early side. LOTS of young kids here, and I can see it beating a perfect place for young families. My largest praise is for the staff. Always pleasant. They are attentive without hovering. It's obvious they have plenty of regulars- including my parents-because they are so friendly. The bathrooms are very clean. As for the food: I have gluten and dairy allergies, so I can't speak for the pizza. The salad is very fresh, and chicken breast properly cooked. I've never been to such an all-around amazing restaurant with "pizza" in the title. I ordered a medium white pizza and it was crispy and thin with fresh cheese. If you are particular about pizza shape, you should know that it is rectangular (my husband swears that round tastes different). But I was the only one who got pizza in my party. Others ordered chicken strips, loaded waffle fries (cheese and bacon on top!), and a calzone. Everything was delicious and the portions were substantial. We all had leftovers to take home. The service was impeccable. Each employee was kind and respectful, helping to make our experience enjoyable. Even when there was an error with our food, they caught it before bringing it to the table and made a fresh new dish with the correct ingredients. Super small location compared to most Ledos. Compared to the one I ate at when I was a kid on rockville pike, it did not measure up (that one is amazing). The food needed 10 more mins even thou we had a pick up time 45 mins scheduled ahead of time. We had a large pepperoni pizza with half extra cheese and ground meat. The ground meat was decent but they literally put like maybe 1-2oz of it which did not seem right for what they charge. Other Ledos I have been to always put a generous amount of toppings. Overall we won't be back to this location, but still will love Ledos for the square pizza goodness. read more

Great service, a decent amount of seating, and during the week, plenty of parking. On weekends, this parking lot often overflows and it can be tricky getting in and out, even with the four or five police officers who are directing people. The food is good. It's not wonderful, it's not the best pizza or appetizers around, but it is, well, good. The pizza can be greasy, so you may want to ask them to go lightly on the cheese, but the crust is nice. This find is hidden in a small shopping center. We were planning to get bagels, but the smell lured us over to Ledo Pizza. We were warmly welcomed on a hot summer day with a big smile and cool AC. They have a very affordable lunch menu and the regular menu offers interesting combinations including the Marco Pollo which has chicken green olives, cheese & farro-something I've never seen offered on a pizza. Great pizza! Decent location, but very busy area and parking is tough. Came in to get a pizza to go. Staff was rude and nasty. Not at all friendly from the waitstaff passing by to the kid behind the register to the people behind getting carryout orders ready, it was a crapshoot at best. I stayed because I was starved and I knew I would be getting great pizza. I ordered, they took my money and told me 30 minutes. Ok, fine, its a busy time, but I didn't much appreciate the attitude from the team members. Went out to my car to sit as it was busy and very warm in the restaurant. Came back 30 minutes later, received the same nastiness as earlier. The pizza was ready and in a stack of plenty of others for pickup. Got my pizza and headed out the door. About 5-10 minutes later while driving, I grab a slice and found it to be cold, practically seems like it came out of a fridge. Or that it only took 10 minutes and they said at least 30 minutes. All in all, very disappointing. First time to this location, but other Ledo's pizza locations in Virginia and other areas of Maryland are quite good, staff is competent and friendly.
